Shaien wandered down the street, trying to find a place that was looking for a job. She wanted to find a good job and a good apartment. She was trying to make a new life for herself. She decided that during the day, she was in her human form but during the night she let the troll side of her come out to play. She needed to find a job. She already found a apartment that had a good cheap rent, but she really needed a job. She sighed, clutching the papers in her hands as she began to feel this was hopeless.
"Hey! Don't be like that, girl! You have to keep trying!" Her troll side spoke in her head, trying to encourage the white haired woman. She nodded and continued to move forward, not stopping until she found a job.

Glass shattered against the floor as Lea lost her footing and fell on the cold marble floor, spilling coke all over her blue shirt and skirt. ((See her profile under clothes)) A costumer had tripped her once again because of her calmness. She hurriedly cleaned up the sticky mess and delivered a new coke to the customer, apologizing for her tardiness. This had been going on for a while and she was tired of working alone, so she put help wanted posters up earlier and was waiting for people to come, maybe. Lea got the hot plates from the kitchen and proceed to hand them out, getting the occasional nasty glance from the mundanes. Luckily there was only an hour left, and the night was getting chillier as the sun set on the far horizon. Lea knew that the villagers hated her and knew what she was, but this town was the best one she's been to since they accept all races, except vampires because everybody hates vampires..... Including her.
It wasn't long till Shaien found the help wanted sign in what looked like a little cafe. She walked in quietly, trying to find the owner of the store. She saw a woman, and assumed she was one of the employees. She lightly tapped her shoulder to grab her attention. "Excuse me, miss, but do you know if the owner of this place is around?" She asked, her voice quiet and shy. She really didn't know much about talking to other people, that was her troll side who did all the talking while the form she was in did the rational thinking.
"Uh, through the double doors at the far side." Lea said nodding towards the doors, carefully putting the tray of food down in front of a costumer and giving a drink to another. "The boss is in there and I think he would be glad to have another person in here to raise business." Lea said with a smile as she walked away to deliver more food and get humiliated more.
