“You seem quite the romantic type. Unfortunately I know not a word of french, but it’s endearing to listen to. Romance.”

“Wait, you like to listen to someone speak with a mouthful of mashed potatoes? Ew, hard pass.”

“Sadly I would have to pass because my girlfriend would probably legit kill me if I strayed, but if you wanted to we could go to a diner for lunch and see if we can’t strike up a friendship between us.”
