Hi, I'm Izumikora but I also got by the name of Ickle Izu, Lewdalicious Izu and Demon Izu in the online world
I started role-playing in 2013 for a Wrestling based game, where I learnt the ropes of how to role-play as a character, however I found it difficult to get into the kind of character that the game and its community wanted but gained a small following for the role-plays I did produce and was supported to nurture and develop my writing and choice of role-playing
I can be very timid about showing off my work or role-playing with others as historically I've been been disowned by other writers and made to feel like I should be ashamed of my writing
In real life, I'm a Web Developer & IT Consultant that likes to use their spare time playing guitar/bass/drums, gaming on PC and blasting out various genres of metal, 80's and synth! I enjoy playing around with Photoshop and causing a bit of mischief here and there
I'm hoping to find other writers who who have similar interests to myself as well as readers who might enjoy my writing

Most avatars and banners, Photobucket took away my ability to link them so now I only make avatars for Steam

I've tried getting into DB but I'm not well versed when it comes to writing the code that makes the DB doing anything exciting outside of retaining data

I'm positive you'll quickly find lots of great games and fantastic new friends. The RPR community is very active and kind, so don't be afraid to ask questions or talk to people.
If and when for something to RP, I suggest LFRP as that will help you to narrow down your search and see the options others have posted in trying to find a game. As well as Find RP which presents you with even more options. Happy gaming!
P.S. Make sure to check out the Smalltalk Forum and Forum Games where, because of the fundraising event, there are lots of raffles and games for run prizes going on! Wouldn't want you to miss out
