Sitting there
Tears falling like a waterfall
Pain in her beating heart
There sat a auburn woman
Broken hearted
She sat on a bench
In a small, local park
Her love
Had just left her for someone else
She cries, wondering why
The tears wouldn't stop
Just like her silent screams
She cursed the day they met
With every tear
Her heart breaks into more
Pieces

An open bar sat across the way
And so did Hunter as he watched the trees sway
A cold beer sat in his hand as he waited to pay
All alone at the time
Hunter had nothing to do but sign

He left the bar
Holding his breath as he walked past a man smoking a cigar
He past a tree, one that reminded him what it is like to be free
And saw a sad girl, tears falling like leaves

Hunter stopped by the girl
If he wanted to help he needed to give it a wirl
"Hello there girl,
Can I ask you what it is that is making your head swirl?"

Moriah looked up at the man
Wondering for a moment who he was
And how he had come to cross paths with her
At a time like this

She wiped away a tear that was soon replaced
"Someone I loved,
Left me for another."
Her voice was cracking and raw
Only one eye did tears fall from
The other covered with her auburn hair
Due to her scar
Her left eye could not produce tears
But it did show emotion more instead of sight

Hunter sat down next to her
He knew what it was like to be thrown a curve
"Then that poor man has missed out
By the look of you there will be a lot of people ready to take you out"
Hunter slowly smiled
With miles an miles of men, if she could find no better then she was bein put through a trial

Moriah shook her head
"What guy would want a girl
With only one eye that can see?"
She pulled her knees to her chest
Wrapping her arms around them
And burying her face in her arms

Hunter knew he was still a stranger
And he didn't want her to feel like she was in danger
So he put his hand on her shoulder rather than hold her
"Alot of people would,
And more would if they could
But they aren't strong enough
They can't handle any 'un-natural' stuff"
With was said with two meanings
One for comfort
And one to acknowledge his knowing.
Hunter could tell what she was
For half his job was knowing.

Moriah looked up
When she felt a hand on her shoulder
She was surprised with what he said
"Y-you know what I-I am?"
Her voice still shook
But fear was in it
Fear that this man was
A witch hunter

Hunter nodded.
"A beautiful person," he said.
He smiled and made a W with his hands,
He then winked behind it in an attempt to amend the trust.

His gestured showed he meant her no harm
And from her shoulder he lifted his arm
He placed it by his side
And his grin was ever so wide.

Moriah was still surprised he knew
But relieved that he hadn't attacked her
"Its rare to find a human
Who knows that truth about this world."
She smiled softly but it soon disappeared
Her heart still ached
Her mind still raced
Her love still gone

Hunter paused a moment before he spoke
"Look here girl
It is a big big world.
You will meet some good
And you will meet some bad
But you can't be in such a down mood
Because in the end, this will be the only life you had."

Moriah nodded
"I am fully aware of that
But life is full of twists and turns
Pain comes and goes
Everyone deals with it all the same
Sometimes
You have to let someone
Fix themselves."

"A hand is a hand
No matter why or what day.
If you would rather be by yourself
Then I would gladly go away."
Then up got the man from the bar,
ready to head to his own car.
