Zy knelt down and petted Luik's back smileing " so whats you name?" she asked the boy.

The boy blinks and says Andio. Dran smiles "I am. Andio, remember not all wolves are gentle as Lyik so don't run up on another wolf." He'd say gently. Dran looks up "We have to leave soon though dear." He'd let Lyik drink and get more attention.

" alright" Zy said standing " It nice to meet you Andio" she said softly.

Dran smiles "Lyik, come. We have to go get supplies." He'd smile and give the key to the innkeeper "Again, thank you for letting Lyik stay by us, he is still hurt but he'll heal soon enough thanks to your kindness."

Zy smiled " yes, thank you very much" she said. heading outside

Dran follows her and lifts Lyik up onto the horse he'd been on before "Lyik listen, you need to keep resting." He'd smile "There was a river near your tree right?"

" yeah" Zy said nodded as he climed up on her horse.

Dran nods "Well we'll stop by to bathe us and him in it." He'd say "I at the least could use it, as could he."

"alright"Zy said with a smile

Dran smiles "The horse still okay with him hun?" he'd ask gently.

" yeah, seems like it" Zy said looking at Lyik

Dran smiles, and men jumped down demanding their money. Lyik jumps down yelping a bit but quickly going to their defense. Dran frowns "Lyik, come." He put on his gauntlets "I need this money for a room and supplies so you cannot have it... You hurt that wolf more and I swear you will be meeting the spirits sooner than him." Lyik moves by him still growling.

Zy reached for her knife in case she needed it.

The men charge at dran, the four all carrying swords, Lyik jumps at one biting his sword hand. Dran looks worried as he stabs into one and goes to be between the two remaining and Lyik, trusting Zy would be fine "Your friend's wounds will take his life if he isn't treated, I'll allow you to take him and this man if you leave now..." The men blinked thrown off by Dran's kindness. They grab their friend and run, Lyik sensing it was over let go, The man growls and kicks him. Dran hears the yelp and slices the man's throat "I told you, you hurt my wolf and you'll meet the spirits sooner..." Lyik ran upto her horse still whimpering in pain.

Zy leaned down and rubbed his head " here come ride with me " she said gently pulling him up to be in her lap.

Dran walked over "Lyik, I am so sorry that man hurt you." He'd kiss the wolf's head lightly "Hun, put him on the ground, I'm going to ensure there's no lasting damage."

" Alright" Zy said returning Lyik to the ground.

Dran smiles and gets the wolf to lay, focusing and she'd see a gentle blue glow wash over the wolf "He isn't fully healed but he'll have no lasting damage."

" thats good" Zy said smiling, looking around letting the wind blow her hair back softly.

Dran puts him up on his horse "Okay Lyik, you need to stay up here." He'd hand her the reins and lead them off.
