Just wondering.
Would it be weird if I did an RP across RP Repository AND in a Furcadia dream?

(Moved this to RP Discussion for you!)
I'm not sure why that would be weird. A bit impractical, maybe, since you're telling the story between two different mediums.
If you mean RPing between two different worlds, RPR doesn't have a canon storyline though, not like Furcadia has with Kasuria. So that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.
Maybe you can share some more specifics about what the story is all about, and how and why you're planning on mixing the two places like this? I'm quite curious to know why!

Well, I kind of meant it like this.
I have a Furcadia dream that makes the setting for the RP.
The RP is a lot to explain, so I'll just summarize.
In this certain RP, I play Princess Lily Darianna, Princess of the Kingdom of Bealyth. I was captured by the Sin Dragon of Gluttony, Bezelion, on my 13th birthday, and was "prepared" to be eaten by the dragon. After three months of being in the dragon's sty, and moments before I was to be dinner, a golden arrow pierced the dragon's heart and stunned him long enough for me to escape. Not knowing where the arrow came from, I conclude that it came from a marksman, and if I ever found him, I would ask him to be my prince. The only problem is, the marksman is unknown, and a mystery arises. (This is one side of the RP, the mystery and lovey-dovey stuff.)
I return to Bealyth, finding that in my absence, dark forces have started to stir in the kingdom, and monsters, necromancers, and bandits have begun to take action to seize the throne. One of the pressing issues was that Kilagord, a mountainous land inhabited by bloodthirsty trolls, was threatening war. To prevent a full-scale invasion, I'm sent to Kilagord to make negotiations. Being successful, I begin the long journey home, and that's where the RP officially starts.
Now how this fits in with my idea of "spanning two websites", the players can RP in Furcadia and RP Repository interchangeably. Now you might be asking yourself, "Why not just do it in one or the other?" Well, there's a reason. When I RP in RP Repository, everything has to be crucial to the plot. We can't waste posts on everyday things such as everyday life in Bealyth. With Furcadia, the posts are more immediate, allowing more freedom to do little side stories. You can even do everyday life in Bealyth in Furcadia. However, the problem with only using Furcadia is that nothing is recorded, not even stuff crucial to the plot. So, if I do something crucial to the plot in Furcadia, I can put it in my character's journal on here. If it's something simple like everyday life in Bealyth that doesn't involve Princess Lily, it can stay in Furcadia, or go on other player's journals. And if I want a record of the actual RP, I can do it on here. Make sense?
...I certainly hope I'M making sense...

There is a setting in furcadia where you can save everything, logs and whispers I don't know if you knew that. It can be toggled on or off in configuratioins I believe.(I honestly don't really know much about it since I just keep everything to "save all this" and I don't really touch it) but if that has nothing to do with what you are actually saying, then ignore me lol but keeping a journal sounds like a neat idea, since it at least allows you to remember what events happened where and when. Good luck with the idea!

Also, Iokua and I have taken our characters from Furcadia to RPR and back.
We have characters that are pretty firmly entrenched where we most often RP them on Furcadia, but occasionally make trips for business or charity. We had them visit the Soril'ee Siblings over on RPR for a couple of weeks. Go see!
A benefit for doing this was that we found is that we got great story from someone who isn't able to be on Furc with us. It's also more forgiving of people's different schedules, since the posts can sit-and-wait while we go to work and sleep and stuff. We also didn't have to find a specific dream just for the traveling RP.
A drawback we experienced is that because the posts can sit-and-wait, RP time passes much, much more slowly than real time, and since our characters were needed back on Furc, we kindof had to rush things at the end.
Overall, it's something I'd certainly do again, and agree with your points that RPR is a little more suited to Action!RPs than slice of life ones

I'm under the impression that dozens of members split their time and plots between RPR and other sites on a daily basis. I don't think it's weird in any way until and if it becomes inconvenient for you and your RP partners. If it works, it works!
But as others have pointed out, not only can you save everything that happens on Furcadia, I'd add that you can also do real-time RP here by using the "launch chat" button in any topic. Then you can send and post responses just as fast as you can on Furcadia.

Generally how I'd imagine doing an RP on Furcadia and RPR is to have the RPR one set in the past as a facet of the character's backstory or during a time when the character could be reasonably absent IC. So, say, 2 weeks IC time. Due to how much time can pass between posts on RPR depending on real life occurrences, the agreement on two weeks IC can still stand even if it takes say, a month of IRL time to complete.
You all make good points.
I do realize that Furcadia saves logs, but they're a pain to access.
I was not aware of the real-time chat features, so that will be helpful.
Thank you Kaji for seeing the point I was trying to get across the board, RPR being suited for action and main story elements, Furc being suited for everyday life in the RP.
But still, none of this stuff is relevant until I get some players for the RP, which hasn't happened quite yet.
Fingers crossed though!

You can get tho them easy enough. They're all listed in a folder accessed through programs. (if you saved it there)
