Kuro had decided that it was time that she tries to go somewhere else to get away from her master. He knew that she was in America and that her body temperature need to be in hot temperatures to keep it from dropping any more than it already does in the winter. She waited till the summer to try to go to Antarctica, she might be in danger of getting foster bite, but she would be fine. Suta tried to talk her out of it but she went with it.
So, since it was still winter, she began to work in a small cafe and other places to make some money to buy clothes for that cold place and plane ticket for it. It only took four months to earn to enough money with all the places she worked at. She packed all her clothes in a suitcase she bought and got on the plane that she had paid a ticket for that was heading to Antarctica. It was about a four hour fly, and Suta was hidden in her suit case, of course he was coming with her. It wasn't long till they landed in the snowy land and before anyone knew it, Kuro was gone. She had to find a place to hide out at. She search until she found something sticking slightly out of the snow. She set her suitcase down and wiped away some of the snow only to jump back when she saw a face in there. It scared her pretty badly, seeing her first thought was it was a dead person. But she then took another look and saw the light flush of pink in the cheeks and the skin didn't look cold and dead, so her best guess was that whoever this person was in this strange thing she found was still very alive.

Over 2000 years ago, this pod hit the ground. It was an amazing light show, but all for nought. His ship had been abandoned, and shattered as soon as it hit the atmosphere, scattering large pieces of metal planet wide. The bulk of his ship landed in Antartica, where he was now. His pod, the only living piece left, had hit almost 100 miles away from the ship, and now was covered, and watched.
This is where it begins. He knew not of anything watching him, he knew not of anyone knowing. He only knew that he was alive, and at this point, that was what he wanted. He was dreaming, in deep sleep for almost 2000 years. The computer had lit up the interior once it recognized a human, and alerted Jacob of the presence through his mind.
The person looked 17, with long blonde hair, and deep blue eyes. He had a scar across his right eye, but it was barely visible. He wore, well, nothing. His Psychic powers didn't mention clothes when it changed his form, and besides, they would have degraded into nothing. He was not cold, at least not yet, and was breathing slowly, in, and out. If he knew what was outside, he would be embarrassed.
But his stasis was deactivated instantly, and only his deep sleep remained. As planned, a nightmare would wake him up. He was yet to that, though. A loud beep, audible for only 100 feet, was heard, signaling that he was ready.
Jacob was on board the ship, clad in his golden armor, wielding his sword. In front of him was a False God, a False Emperor, one who had to die. His name was Zeus, and he had claimed Earth as his domain. It would not do for Jacob. Zeus was tall, and had a white beard, with long white hair. It gave him the look of an old and weak man, which he wasn't. Clad in white armor, he was armed with a Power Claw, and sword.
Jacob wielded a Flaming sword and a Golden shield, which protected him from attack. He had both Power Fists attached, and ready to take him on. There was no sign of fear in his blue eyes, just one of anger and betrayal. This man had to go.
"Jacob, it is sad. We could've ruled this Galaxy together," Zeus tempted, walking around, admiring his Claw. He had a smirk on his face, one of defiance. "But, instead, you had to attack."
"You betrayed me! You created me, and then ruled a lesser being! You created me, my race, everything, and then set out to control us!" Jacob spat back, angry at this man who had created him. He grew stronger, and angrier. "There was no us, it was just you, Demon. You let them in, and look at you now,"
"SILENCE!" Zeus screamed, his hands tightening their grips, and forming strong fists. He circled the room, just like Jacob. "Now we meet, The Emperor, and The Creator. Make your move!"
Jacob grabbed his sword with both hands, and jumped into the air, propelled by his mind and his jump pack. He slammed into Zeus, smashing his sword into the other's, sending sparks and raw energy everywhere. Jacob's eyes grew brighter, until raw energy escaped them, and leaked into his sword. Zeus returned the attack, and Jacob blocked it, before being kicked off to the side. He hit the wall with a dent.
Now Jacob had to return attack. He swept Zeus's legs out from under him, and kicked him into the wall. A massive dent almost ruptured the hull, and sent the ship moving sideways with the force. Jacob grabbed Zeus, and tossed him into the air, before putting his energy behind his fist, and punched him. Zeus flew into the other wall, ripping through it, and landing in another room. The explosion rocked the ship, and made a large dent in the hull.
Zeus got up, and swung his sword, hitting Jacob's shield. They fought each other with great strength, Jacob kicking Zeus, and swinging his sword. Zeus grabbed Jacob, and flung him into the Bay's walls, blasting them apart, and sending Jacob falling down, his cape fluttering. Zeus jumped down, and Jacob moved, kicking him as he got near enough.
Zeus got up, and charged, both running. Zeus clawed at Jacob's shield, tearing a gash into it, and then stabbed his claws into it, injuring Jacob's arm. Jacob hit Zeus with his shield repeatedly, smashing it again and again into the man's face.
Jacob kicked Zeus, and swung his sword, smashing Zeus to the side. Zeus got up, and charged, both charging their Psychic energy into the swords. They met, and the explosion was great. It knocked both of them across the bay, and ripped through huge amounts of rooms, hitting the engine with the shrapnel. Jacob hit the other wall, smashing through it, and blasting a hole into the cafeteria. He was near finished.
Zeus came in, and running, stabbed his sword into Jacob's abdomen, pinning him to the floor. Zeus smiled, and left, boarding a ship, and ordering them to open fire. Even without the extra firepower, the ship was doomed. Jacob, wounded and exhausted, spat his blood out of his mouth, and removed the sword from his gut, tossing it aside. He slowly got up, the ship reeling.
The engines gave out, and exploded, ripping a huge chunk of the ship off. It soon ripped in half, and Jacob stumbled about, finally finding the Pod, and entering it.
Jacob turned his head, letting out a moan, and almost looked scared. In fact, he looked in pain. The noise escaped the pod, and Kuro could hear it with no trouble. He mouthed the words "no", and breathed heavier.
"No, no... I... Will... Know... No... Fear..." He said, finally nearing his awakening. "God save me..."
Tears streamed down his closed eyes, and he opened them to the blinding light.
((If in Italics, it is his dream))
Kuro watched as it became clear what this person looked like. It was a male, looking about her age with long blonde hair. She could see the scar on his right eye, along with the fact that he had no clothing. "Good thing I packed a lot of clothes. He'll need it in this weather." She though as she watched his face go from peaceful sleep into one of pain and fear from whatever went through his mind. She heard the noise coming from the thing that he was in cased in. Next thing she knew, there was tears running from his closed eyes, she knocked on the glass that showed her what was inside, trying to wake him up. "How am I suppose to open this up?" She had never seen anything like this before and had no clue how it worked. It didn't look like even belong on Earth. She decided to wait for him to wake up, seeing as whatever these thing wasn't going to open no matter what she did. She quickly opened up her suitcase, getting a glare from her dragon friend. She shrugged it off and pulled out some clothes that might fit the male. She couldn't tell his height but he did look skinny, her best guess was he had been here for awhile, she wouldn't know that he had been here for 200 years since he still looked healthy. She held the clothes up against her, trying to keep them from getting cold by using her body heat, even if it wasn't much. "I told you, Kuro. This was a bad idea, your body temperature is dropping faster than you can run." Suta spoke in her mind, making her roll her eyes. "I-I'm f-f-fi-fine." her teeth were clattering from the cold but she still stood strong and tall.
His eyes were almost blinded by the light, and it shocked him. His breathing became normal, and he shielded his eyes from the sun with his arms, shaking now. He hit a button, and it opened him to the world of cold, causing him to shiver and quake with cold. He grabbed the side, and lifted himself up. He could see a bit better now, but not too much. He could hear someone beside him, though.
He turned his head slowly, scanning the horizon, and rubbing his shoulders with his arms. His teeth chattered loudly as he felt the cold closing in on him. Steam rose from his body as he gave off heat. But he saw someone, though blurry, and reached out to it, shaking from the cold. He fell forward, landing in the snow, passing out. It was too much for him to experience in that little amount of time.

Kuro jumped back as the thing finally opened up and the man came out. "H-hello." She said in a shaky voice, a little scared as to what this guy was. She could feel the power coming from him, but when he had passed out in the snow, she quickly began to try to dress him. She knew the best thing was to try to use what body heat she heat she had to warm him up to wake him up again, but she didn't have much, her body temperature dropped from 63 to 42. She saw a yellow light not too far away from where they were. She stood up to get a better look but with the snow falling, she could only make out the outline of a small home. She grabbed her suitcase and the man, wrapping one of his arms around her shoulders while her's was wrapped around his waist and walked forward towards the light.
Jacob moaned, looking around unintended, and saying nonsense. He mumbled to himself, not opening his eyes. His arms flopped aimlessly about while Kuro ran, under a life of their own. He couldn't wake up, not in this temperature. He had to get somewhere warmer, and where Kuro was running worked wonderfully. His feet dragged on the ground, creating tracks that looked like lines. Finally, he woke, but he was very tired, and couldn't make much sense.
"Don't... Let him... Off the ship..." He muttered, his last line before the ship crashed into the atmosphere. Now, his eyes were getting better, and as Kuro opened and closed the door in front of them, he could speak something more sensible.
"Thank...thank...y-you..." He said, drooping off into another sleep, but this time, warmer.

Kuro ignored his mumbling and continued on. Once she got there, she quickly laid him down on the couch and closed the door. She nodded at what he said but sighed when he fell asleep again. She was surprised to find no one else in the cabin and it had a fire going as well. She opened her suitcase and let Suta out. "Go ahead and change into human from, I don't know who or what this guy is so we don't know how he will react to a dragon." Suta nodded and shifted into his human from. He looked about twelve years old with silver hair and bright green eyes. Thanks to what he was, he aged faster than most humans, so even though he looked twelve, he was actually seven.
"Exactly why did you do that, Kuro?" He asked, poking the guy in the cheek to see his reaction then sat down in one of the love seats while Kuro sat in the other one.
"Like you wouldn't save a guy from freezing to death in this weather?" She asked, still curious as to who and what this guy was.

Jacob woke up, but his eyes took longer to follow what his brain said. His brain told him to wake up, and his eyes said, the hell I will. In fact, the way he saw it, he didn't want to see. Not for a bit. He just breathed in the warm air, and sat there, nursing a surprising set of wounds. After all, he WAS in stasis for 2,000 years. The only thing that healed was the wound to the stomach, and it hurt still, but that was because it left a mark that he would never forget. A mark of hatred, torture, and betrayal. He knew not of what became of Zeus, only that if he did survive, he would be in a world of hurt.
Slowly, Jacob tried to recall exactly what happened during the activation of the pod, and this. It was a complicated matter, diving into his inner self. But it was made all the easier by being out here, alone, and just him and his thoughts. Except, it wasn't just him and his thoughts, was it? No, he realized he was missing something. Something very important. Something minor in detail, but important in the grand scheme of things.
This girl. This girl saved him from his cold death, and brought him to here to lay down and rest. She saved his life, and for that, he was deeply grateful. Except, that is, for what he was wearing. He knew he had no underwear on; he could tell by the awkwardness there. No, he didn't know exactly what he was wearing, but he was glad he was wearing something. That would have been extremely embarrassing for him if he still didn't wear anything.
He tried to hear his way around this new house, looking for a sign of anything normal. He heard the fire crackling, the lights humming lowly, but not burning brightly, the creaking of wood, and the wind. He heard the girl talking to...
To who? There was only one person who he remembered seeing, feeling, and hearing, and she was here. Yes, she was here. Who was the other one? The other sounded young, around maybe eight, and intelligent for his age. The girl who saved her, however, sounded older, and much smarter.
That reminded him. He hadn't eaten in 2,000 years, and was hungry. Hungry for what, though? Just food, maybe. Whatever came along, and he was going to eat it. Although, he knew that to eat, he had to fully wake up, and so, with that, he moaned, sighed, yawned, and opened his eyes. Just about anyone inside could hear him waking up. He groaned, and breathed in, looking at himself. Just as he left it.

Kuro decided to look through the house, to figure out who might live here and why they left. She told Suta to stay down stairs in the living room in case the guy she found woke up and tried to live for whatever reason. She rummaged through the kitchen draws, trying to see what there was. The fridge was fully stocked with food, enough to feed all of three of them. She though that there would probably some left over whenever they all left because her body didn't require a lot of food, even though it already looked like she was weak and fragile, more so with her cheeks looking like they were sunken in her skull but they weren't, they were just fine. She found some large knives and other cooking supplies, which wasn't a surprise to her.
Once she finished with the kitchen, she went upstairs. She felt a strange feeling of dread when she walked up there, as if something was there but she shook it off. There were four doors, one had a sign on it that said "Keep Out" in a horrible handwriting, which suggested to her that whoever was here had a teenage son. "Perfect! Looks like this room should have some clothes that should fit that guy." She thought as she walked into the room. There were many different posters to some older bands that were foreign to her. Music in general was foreign to Kuro, poor girl was so out of touch with society. She looked through the draws and found some clothing. She went ahead and pulled out some bowers, pants, and a sweater and set them on the bed, folded neatly. She found a pistol in there as well, along with what looked like a hunting rifle.
She picked up the clothes and moved on to the next room. It was the parents room, with a large king size bed in the center of the room. She decided to leave that room alone, seeing as not one of the three of them were anywhere close to being in their thirties. She moved on to the next room which was a bathroom. She looked in the shelf behind the mirror and found some painkillers and other tolieters. There was a shower and bath together, with soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
She went to the last room, but the moment she stepped in, she regretted it. The whole room was mainly pink, the one color she hated. She set the clothes in her hands down and looked in the closest. The clothes suggested that the girl in this room had to be close to Suta's height and weight. He was going to kill her, but Kuro had use these clothes for him, seeing as she really didn't expect to have him switch into his human from.
She heard the guy wake up downstairs as she left the room. She walked down stairs and went to see if she was right. "Oh, you are awake." She said as she saw his eyes were open. "Here. I found these in one of the rooms upstairs, I believe they will fit you better than my clothes will." She said as she sat the clothes she found down on the coffee table in front of the couch. "I'm guessing you haven't eaten in some time, so I'll go make something for all of us. There is a bathroom upstairs, if you want to go change clothes up there." She said as she walked into the kitchen.

Jacob looked at her in a way that suggested that he had no idea what the hell just happened. Now he could see clearly, and saw a girl in front of him. Well, at least it was a girl... Who he just happened to give her clothes to him. He swallowed, a little embarrassed that she saw him naked, and accepted the clothes generously.
"Yes, it would seem that I am awake," Jacob said almost sarcastically, knowing fully well that he was not completely awake, and in actuality, was only 3/4ths of the way there. He looked at her, and thought he saw two different eye colors. Maybe he was dreaming, though, if this was a dream, he didn't want it to end. Well, yes, he did, but... It was complicated. He did like her hair, though. It was a nice color, with a good style to it. Secretive, but open, in a way. "So... Van Halen, hmm? Interesting shirt, not saying I don't like it or anything, just wondering how you knew it was one of my favorites..."
He got up, and stretched, cracking his knuckles, his back, neck, and basically every joint known to man, and then a few. He brushed his hair out of his eyes, and behind his ears, but it didn't stay there at all. Instead, it just flopped around until he could get it to stay, but it wouldn't stay long. In fact, he intended to take a shower, just to relax with.
He slung the clothes over his right shoulder, and slowly walked up the stairs, each step creaking, and each step a little easier to take. He hadn't walked in so long, and it was not something one gets over quickly. But he was getting there. Eventually, he got to the top, and entered the bathroom, opening and closing the door.
He turned on the shower, letting it run for a little bit, getting it warm. Slowly, he peeled off his clothing, and massaged his aching muscles. For a girl, she did have good taste in clothes, but she would need better ones for this. Soon, the air grew humid with the hot water, and he had gotten all of his clothes off, and walked in.
The hot water was just what he needed, the warmth caressing him, and relieving him of his aches. He let it wash the dirt off him, slowly, and cleaned his hair with the shampoo and conditioner there. It was much better looking now, and flowed down to the bottom of his neck. He cleaned the rest of himself, and finally got out, after almost thirty minutes of peace.
He grabbed a towel, and roughly, dried his hair out, before working on his back, arms, legs, and chest. Once everything was dry, he got his underwear and pants on, zipping on the jeans, and putting his socks on. He looked at himself in the mirror. That was when he saw it. The scar.
It was an ugly scar, almost as long as his hand, and had a bump to it. It went in one end, and out the other. It reminded him of the pain, and he bit his lip, drawing tears. That man, wherever and whoever he was, would pay, if not already.
He got the rest of his clothes on, and combed his hair back, making it into almost a mullet, but keeping his sides and bangs on, but just brushing them to the side. It was hard, and the hair didn't get there as much as he wanted, but he felt that it was good enough, and in fact, better.
Now happy, he opened the door to the hallway, and walked out, hands in his pockets. Jacob felt much better now that he was clean and warm. Something smelled good to him, and he just needed to find out what it was. He picked up the clothes, walked down the stairs, and looked around. Kuro, as she was called, was probably in the kitchen, and so that is where he would go.
He saw her making something to eat, busying herself with the food and whatnot, and making sure it was perfect. Whatever it was, it smelled extremely good, and he wanted some of it. He knocked on the wooden wall, waiting for her attention.
"I got your... Clothes here," Jacob said, not exactly sure how to word that. It sounded awkward as it was, but what the hell? He was alive. "Mmm, that smells wonderful. What is it?"
"Yes, it would seem that I am awake," Jacob said almost sarcastically, knowing fully well that he was not completely awake, and in actuality, was only 3/4ths of the way there.
Kuro was surprised to hear that. "I just picked out some clothes that looked like they fit from one of the rooms upstairs. It seems whoever lived here left without taking anything. There seemed to be a older son, around our age, I'm guessing and a younger daughter, around Suta's age." She jabbed her thumb in the direction of the sleeping boy, clearly got so bored of doing nothing but watching a guy sleep made him fall asleep. "I really didn't know any of the bands that were in the son's room. I guess you could say I really haven't been in touch with today's society in the past four years." She said as he left to take a shower.
She quickly rummaged through the fridge, finding the right ingredients for some chicken fettuccine, a dish she knew how to cook very well. She began to fix the meal, remembering the time her brother, Daren had taught her how to cook. He would always say that it was a great quality for a young lady to have, even if Kuro was only thirteen.
"Now, Kuro. If you ever want to find a husband, you will need to learn how to cook." Daren said with a joyful smile. Kuro looked up at him, confused.
"You're my bi brother, shouldn't you be keeping me away from boys?" She asked in her still high pitched and still innocent voice. Daren simply laughed and went on teaching how to cook to his younger sister.
Kuro smiled at the sweet memory of her beloved brother. She missed him dearly, but she did what she had to, she knew he understood. Once she turned eighteen, she would go and find him again, but for now, she was protecting herself and Suta from her master's wrath.
She filled a large pot with water and set it on the stove to boil the noodles, she then went to the chicken. She pulled out another pan and put some butter on it. She moved the pan around to make the butter melt all over it so the chicken wouldn't stick to it. She then put the chicken on the pan and quickly went to the fridge and pulled out the sauce for the meal. She occasionally flipped the chicken and checked on the noodles. She removed the chicken from the pan once it was fully cooked and started to cut it up into bite sized pieces.
She went back to the noodles and saw they were finally ready. She turned off the burners and pulled out a strainer. She set the strainer in the sink, and pour the noodles and the water in it, straining the water out. She put the noodles back into the pot. She grabbed the chicken and put it in the pot then the sauce. She stirred it all up just as the guy came in. "Huh? Oh, thanks. Just set them next to my suitcase in the living room." She said as she finished stirring the food up together and grabbed a few plates and cups. She got and large spoon and started to serve the food. "Its called Chicken Fettuccine, a Italian dish that my brother taught me how to cook." She said as she finished serving it and went to pour all of them drinks. She fixed herself water and Suta some milk. "What would you like to drink? There is water, milk, apple juice, and Hawaiian punch." She said as she peered into the fridge.

Jacob was smiling at the aroma that filled the room. She knew how to cook, and cook well. He made a note to himself that if there was anyone in the world he wanted to get marooned with, it would be her. Well, that and he didn't really have much of a choice. Being marooned with a great cook is wonderful, yes, but he could've gotten stuck with a nerd, or someone of less intelligence. He just counted himself as extremely lucky to be here.
He walked to the room that Suta was sleeping in, and casually tossed his clothes on top of the suitcase, happy that he was out of them, and into new ones. That, perhaps, was the weirdest moment in his history, and probably would be forever, he made a mental note never to get into an Escape Pod naked. Which made him think, how DID he get in that naked? Wasn't he in his armor, or something? He was in his armor, and had a wound, that magically healed. Something was going on, and he didn't know what.
But, for now, he had to concentrate on the more... Important things of life. One of them being eating, and the other, well, eating. Or drinking to be precise. He walked back into the kitchen, looking around, and dreaming of what he was going to eat. It made his mouth water with the thought. Chicken, pasta, all the joyous things.
He had to frown at the choice laid out in front of him. Drink wise, that was. It wasn't too good, and most definably, he didn't want to have THAT choice again. Beer... He could use some beer. Or anything stronger than the choices provided.
"Got anything stronger?" Jacob said, looking around. It was a nice kitchen, not too big, and not too small. It had a good amount of space in it, and a nice little stove, sink, and all the usual things. He guessed that he was marooned in Siberia, though, but for the life of him, he couldn't figure out why there wouldn't be vodka in a Russian house! "If you don't, milk is fine,"
And another thought crossed his mind. This brother of hers... Who was he? And where was he? Was he perhaps that Suta, or whatever that was on the couch, sleeping lazily? Probably not, but his curiosity got the better of him. He almost needed to know. It got to the point where he was almost dying to know.
"That brother of yours. He seems like a good guy. What's his name?" Jacob asked, hoping not to be too intrusive. He didn't want to completely ruin a good mood, but he guessed that she wasn't here to make friends. If she wanted to, Russia, and Siberia at that, was NOT the best place. And if her brother was that good of a cook, he had to see the rest of the family.

Kuro really didn't know much about this guy, not even his name, so she couldn't really say how she felt about having to be stuck in here with him. "Hey, you never told me your name." She called out as he went to go put her clothes by her suitcase.
looked through the fridge, and found something that looked like alcohol, at least it smelled like it from the strong scent that filled her nose. "I am assuming this is some form of alcohol, I'm not sure. The scent sure if strong enough." She handed it to him for him to see. "Like I said, I haven't really been connected with society in four years." She said, leaning against the door frame between the kitchen and living room. She saw that Suta was still asleep and went over to him, and gently shook him awake. "Suta, get up. Food's ready." She said softly, like she was a mother talking to her son, which is pretty much how it is for these two.
Kuro has been taking care of Suta since the day he was hatched and ever since, Suta has only really trusted Kuro and never really made any friends his age because he was so mature for his young age, no surprise for a dragon. He woke up with a groan and got up, his bright green eyes looking up at her. He sniffed the air and already knew what she made. "You will never forget how to make that dish, will you?" He asked as he stood up. "Why would I forget it? Daren was the one who taught me how to cook it." She said pridefully. Kuro had pride in her brother and how after having a crazy father and sister that was created and was half animal, he still loved his family and didn't rejected them like most people would.
She looked up at what the guy said. "Through blood, me and my brother, Daren aren't related but we have grown up since I was created. He was the first person to show me any kindness when I was knew to the world. He has a big heart and is a nice guy." She said as she set the plates on the table and grabbed some napkins and forks. "Now, what about you? I know nothing about you, I had did just find you so you really do owe me an explanation there." She spoke, setting the napkins and forks on the table and sat down, so did the still sleepy Suta.

Jacob took the bottle, and opened it, wondering. It looked like alcohol, and sure as hell smelled like it. He sloshed it around a bit, and took a sip, nodding his head, and thinking. Probably Vodka, but he wasn't too sure. One thing he did know, though, was that he was drinking it. Long day, and he goddamned deserved it. Well, so did Kuro, for saving his life.
He put it on the table, and sat down, looking at it, and thinking about things. He realized that she asked a question, and he knew he had to answer it, for his sanity. But he was thinking about it. God, there was only a few things he knew. And he didn't know what he was, or why he was fighting that guy.
"My name is Jacob Peter Robbins, in case you are asking. I'm going to assume, and just assume, that your name is Kuro, and his name is Suta, but hell, I don't know for sure," He responded, sighing. One question down, few more to go. He got this far, and he would keep going, mostly because he knew she would question him vigorously. But he had a few of his own. "Truth be told, I know almost zip about me. Frankly, I don't know jack about where I came from, or that crap. Only know my name, and the most recent things that happened to me. And... While I really want to know, I am kinda scared to, ya know? I have no memory, and I wake up, after a nightmare, in an Escape Pod... In Russia... I mean, god, if that happens, do you really want to know your past? But I guess I do...
If you want to know anything, you either gotta be psychic, or hit me really hard on the head, because I have no clue. I can tell you this: my last recollection of anything was in a battleship, around this area. I was fighting a person... Zeus was the name... And I didn't kill him, but I goddamn want some other guy to kill that S.O.B.
Anyways, that's all I know. I want to know a little bit more about why I am here. I'm here for a reason, I don't know what. So, about your brother, what do you mean he isn't blood related? Stepbrother, perhaps? I'm not trying to be intrusive here, I just gotta know."

Kuro really didn't drink unless she really had a rough day and just needed to let go, and how her life was, she really didn't come to that point a lot. She began to eat the pasta on her plates, glad that it at least tasted good. She hadn't really cooked anything like this in a long while, it was mostly wild birds and fish that she caught or Suta caught.
This was a pleasant change for her. She knew it wouldn't last long, she had to always keep moving until she turned eighteen, leaving people behind when they wanted her to stay, and reliving the pain of losing a someone that actually cared about her. Having a life like this wasn't something she could have freely.
She listened to what he said and nodded. "I'm better known as Kuro Jessica Sakuranbo." She said and nodded her head towards Suta. "He is Suta Mark Sakuranbo. We have the last name but we share no relation through blood or marriage." She said as she took another bite of her food.
She nodded. "The Zeus you are talking about is probably the Greek God Zeus. White bred, long white hair, made millions believe he was the most powerful god in the world because he controlled lighting, ring a bell? I never believed in him, thought it was just some crazy people believing in someone that said they were all powerful, I believe that for every religion." She shrugged.
She was a little surprised by that. "Um... Well, for my brother. We have no relation whatsoever. His father had created me, I mean he literally made me. I was not born, so I do not have parents, siblings, or any family at all. I call him my brother cause he always treated me like a sister and when I was first made, we looked like brother and sister, of course my hair was saw black and my right eyes was blue." She pushed her bangs out of the way of her right eye that was a bright and vibrate red. She then let her bangs fall back in place as she ate.

Jacob drank most of his drink, whatever it was, and enjoyed it. It reminded him of his... well, didn't give much. Only past experiences with drinking. He was getting there, though. The food he ate was wonderful, and full of all sorts of beautiful things. He could taste the wonderful chicken, the well cooked pasta, and all the other things in between. He grabbed a salt shaker, and proceeded to pour salt onto the meal with happiness.
He listened as Kuro talked about things related to her. He was particularly interested in the part about her early life, mostly because it was interesting. He learned about her 'father', 'brother', and what not. It was nice learning about something new. When she got to the part about Zeus, he had to think. What was with Zeus?
"I must say I have no damn idea what the hell Zeus was, but he certainly was the cause of that religion. I forget how I knew him, but he was NOT a god. Close, but not close enough..." Jacob said, leaning back, rubbing his temple. He tried to remember, but he couldn't. It struck him as strange. Kuro got to the part about her 'Brother', and he felt... a longing. A longing for an actual family. He never had one, and wanted to know what it was like. All he could think was, 'god, she is lucky. She had a loving sibling. I never even knew how I was made, and frankly, I am still searching for it'
He put his empty plate down as she explained what happened, and almost gagged on his drink. An experiment, gone right. It would explain some things, just not all of them. He liked the eye colors, though. Nice touch, and a good reason to cover them, but not because they looked nice, only because people would get the wrong idea.
"Is that why you are out here, alone?" He asked, wondering what was going on. "You are lucky. You had a loving friend, someone who knew you, cared for you, prayed for you. What did I have? God, I don't know, but I am pretty sure it wasn't good."

Kuro was happy to see that Jacob was enjoying her cooking. Suta was too; she was glad that she was at least a good cook and a good fighter. She loved to do both, more so when it is just practice and not the real thing. She hated to kill anyone unless they were her master's failed experiments, then it was alright because death would be a blessing for them, the pain they go through with their bodies rejected what it has to take in.
She never went with out some form of a family. Suta was like her child, she took care of him, feed him, and all of that stuff. Then she had all the friends she would make along her travels that would be close to her and treat her as if she was their sister. She loved all of her friends, and respected them for who they are. She never wanted to have to leave them behind like she did but there was no other way for her to keep Suta and herself safe.
Kuro nodded, listening. "Zeus was said to be very powerful for his age and created humans along with the other god of each and everything in this world. The only god I like out of all them would have to be the muses. They helped keep humanity believing in love and creativity, making a reason for everyone to move on in life instead of killing all of them off." She said as she finished her food and put her plate in the sick. She bean washing the dishes while Suta finished up eating.
Kuro was indeed a science experiment that had went right. "Don't sound do surprised by it. It is the nature of things. Many times he failed by using subjects that had been born and in the process, their bodies rejected all the blood infusions which made them go crazy and ramped with all the pain in them. My master had chosen to hand make a human being and see how the first year of life would be like for it. Once he saw how of a success I was, he decided to add more animal blood into my blood stream, causing for my strengths to be stronger and weaknesses almost gone. My red eye is able to detect weaknesses in my opponent and whatever weapon they may use, along with the ability to see where someone is injured or scarred. From there he went traveling around the world, forcing me to fight to the death against the strongest people whatever country we were in had to offer. Only one time did one actually kill me but somehow, I assume death refused to take me, I came back to life and kill the criminal. He did it to see where my weaknesses were and to prefect me. I ran away from there as soon as my brother turn eighteen so he could move out and my master couldn't hold his life over my head. That was four years ago, a lot has changed but until I turn eighteen, I will constantly be on the run." She said all this while washing the dishes and putting them on the drying rake. She dried her hands off, as if that story was really nothing now. "Suta had been made from a lizard egg and had bird DNA injected into it, somehow it had created a dragon with the ability to turn into a human, but still have some of the powers a dragon has, like mind reading and breathing fire." She leaned against the counter, her arms folded across her chest in a relaxed and calm way, as though all this no longer bothered her.
She smiled. "I am lucky. I have many friends across the globe who care about me deeply, even if they haven't heard from me in so many years. I miss them all dearly, but I have to continue on in the way my life is."

She smiled. "I am lucky. I have many friends across the globe who care about me deeply, even if they haven't heard from me in so many years. I miss them all dearly, but I have to continue on in the way my life is."
Jacob had been listening intently, eating, drinking, listening. It was all very interesting to him, and he found this meeting something he had hoped could've been earlier. Oh he was surprised that she was an experiment. He was so surprised that she was an experiment that worked, and much more. But he was very surprised that she ran away. She was afraid of something... Something deep down inside her scared her to death, and she had to keep running from it.
And when she got to Zeus, well, he couldn't help but wonder how she knew so much about him. If he was a god, what did that make him? He did try to kill him, and vice versa. He wanted to kill the bastard, but he didn't know much. In fact, you could say he was in the dark. He was just so confused. Oh, he nodded in agreement with the muses, whatever they were, because they seemed to be nice.
But when she got to the part about her red eye he immediately dropped everything, and stared, a little confused, embarrassed, and shocked. Could she see through things? Like clothes? That would be awkward for him if she could. But... That part about seeing injuries...
As soon as her eyes drifted away, he looked down, and felt that scar. If she could see that, what did it mean? If Suta could read his mind, did he know things? Could he be the reason that something made them find him? Perhaps. And perhaps they could help him with his memory, and finally get him out of this hellhole, and back to where he came from. It would be one helluva trip, though. He liked adventures, though.
"Mind reading? So you can see my injuries, and he can know my thoughts as they pop into my head?" Jacob wondered, cautiously thinking about this situation. If he could read his mind, then, To be honest, he could freak the hell out of him every day. "Seems like a killing machine pair, to me. But I think I know why you are running. True, you are tired of all the killing, but there is something else that is making you run. Something else that is telling you to go. It's fear.
You are afraid of your creator, scared of what he can do. You are afraid of yourself, and all the killing, and you think that if you can just keep running, it's all going away. But that's not how it's going to be. You have to confront your fears, and its just like the old saying goes: 'There is nothing to fear, except fear itself.'. As I always say, 'Bravery is not that you accept your fate, it is the mastery of fear. Only when you truly master, and forget fear, can you truly be happy.'"
Jacob got up, and put his things away into the sink, washing them, drying them, and putting them out to dry. He did that with all the dishes, though, he didn't know how he knew. Perhaps Kuro would. He had a vague feeling that Kuro and Suta would help him in more ways then one, and perhaps that was it. Well, that, and breathing fire was cool. Very cool.
He finished the dishes, then sat down on the love seat, staring into the fire, and thinking. He was rubbing the stubble of a beard he had, knowing full well that he had to shave. The fire crackled with the energy it had, spitting sparks into the air, but not hurting anything. It was unpredictable, and dangerous. But it calmed him, although, he was still worried, alone, and... Forgetful, would be the word. For lack of a better one.

Kuro had many secrets, that was just scarping the surface of her life. She faced pain on a daily basis, her heart being jerked around, but her tears barely fall, they don't even come to her eyes. She refused to cry, not unless she was completely alone, which was never with taking care of Suta. She had many emotions that swelled in her body at one point but she let them go, forgetting the pain until she had the chance to remember the pain and let the tears finally fall. She hated to cry, she saw it as weakness and hated it deeply because she didn't want to be viewed as weak or fragile, even if her body frame spoke of weak bones and few muscle.
She knew all of this from the times she would go to school, trying to get a diploma so she could get a good job and really start a life for her and Suta. She wanted to raised him like a normal kid, give him the childhood she didn't have at his age. Give him the life that she would never have, give him a second chance that would never come for her. The muses are what got her this far, remembering how they would sing, dance, draw, and write such beautiful things for other people to lift their sad souls, to bring a smile and laugh to every tear that person shared.
She already knew about his scar, but choose not to mention it. If he waned to tell her about it and what he thinks happens, then he will when he feels ready. Trust is something you have to gain, not something you demand. She could see through clothes but also through the flesh, to see the bone structure and organs and what not. She would never try anything like he was thinking, she already saw and that didn't matter to her.
She shook her head. "Its not like that. Suta chooses when he reads your mind and what he hears. My only ability close to that is I can erase memories. I've had people ask me to bring back whatever memories they had lost but I didn't want to test it, more so of what they would see that would be so horrible that their mind would block it out. I don't want to put anyone through the pain of remembering something traumatic. I can see injuries, and I can see the scar you have. I already knew about it once I had found you. My red automatically looks for anything of weakness when upon meeting someone new. It is something I can not stop." She sighed, really annoyed with her red eye. "Also, for a killing machine, you need it to have no emotion, that is where he failed. I can feel all of the emotions, pain, love, joy, sadness, depressions, all of them." She put a hand over her heart as she spoke but let it fall back at her side when she finished.
She was not please at how easily he could guess the fear she had over her master. "Who wouldn't be afraid of him? He is a mad man who craves the need to experiment on humans and push them to their limits more than anything else. It his passion, his life. For that reason, his wife tried to kill me." She lifted up her right sleeve, revealing a horrible and deep scar. It looked as though he had just healed over with skin only days ago, but it was given to her four years, on the night she ran away. "She tried to stab me in the heart while I was sleeping but I am a light sleeper, so when I felt her body pressure on my bed and heard her ragged breathing, I woke up and move away just in time, only having this scar to show for her." She gently touched the pink scar with her skinny pale fingers then let her sleeve drop back to where it was. "I have plans to kill him once I am a free adult. I can't do anything until I am eighteen. He is more of a monster than what he has created. I will face my fears head on when the time is right." She sad as she walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.

((Not sure if you are crying or not?))
Jacob was more or less creeped out by this specific event. Not only did he have a secret that she knew, there was someone who could read his mind in that room. Whether or not Suta was right now was debatable, but he knew he had to be on his guard when talking, thinking, or just relaxing around them. Oh, he felt sorry for Kuro, most definably, but he couldn't help but wonder, why didn't her creator remove emotions?
He thought about it. It was simple, really. If he had just rendered the specific part of the lymbic system dormant, it would've worked. So why didn't he? Then he realized that her creator just might care for her. If he hadn't cared for her, he would've laid dormant the Lymbic System. But why make her a killing machine? He didn't know. Perhaps the creator knew something that he didn't, or she didn't. Any way he looked at it, though, he was really caring for her in a weird way.
And if Kuro could do those things with the mind, then why didn't she erase her memory of her creator and creation? It would make sense to. But there was something weird stopping her. If he could just find out what that was... Speaking of which, why wouldn't Kuro help him? Perhaps she could help him remember things. Of course, it might be harder because of his age, but it would help. He knew there was a mental wall blocking him from reaching his thoughts about his memory. There was a door, but he couldn't find the key. Maybe Kuro was.
But he kept thinking about Kuro. Why? Why was he thinking so much about her? He pondered that question with deep thought, examining every last detail, fact, and observation he made. He came to the weird conclusion that he was grateful, and needed to find a way to repay her for what she did. That, and the second conclusion was that he was tired of being alone, and that maybe Kuro was, too.
Which was why he began formulating a plan. A plan to repay her. He would help her kill her creator, as weird as it sounded. He would be able to help her out, and in the process, maybe she would help him out, too.
"Kuro..." He said, sighing. It was a long day. "Thanks for saving me. I don't know why you did it, but I thank god you did. But if you live alone, and want to be alone, I can leave. I don't need to be your beast of burden. I don't need to weigh you down. I think I already have done that. All I ask, though, is that you help me find my memory. Please. Its... I..."
He sighed. If he was right, he was lonely, and cold. Alone and cold, waiting for help.
"Just try. I need you to try..."
