Kuro enjoyed the kiss, but she was trying to not let it get to far. She didn't know him well enough to get that far with him. She pulled away from the kiss, looking up into his eyes then looked at Suta. "Can you go to one of the rooms upstairs so me and Jacob can talk alone?" Suta nodded and went upstairs.
He sat down, blushing a little bit, and smiling. He laid back on the couch, his hair covering his face, and he brushed it off, staring up. He was happy it happened, sad it was over with, but curious as to what was going to happen. He watched as Suta walked upstairs, and looked at Kuro.
"What did you wanna talk to me about?" He asked, waiting.
"What did you wanna talk to me about?" He asked, waiting.
"About all of this." She said as she watched Suta disappeared upstairs. "I had just met you yesterday, you seem nice, but we just brought back your memory and I honestly doubt you have heard of anything about me or have seen me before now. What I am trying to say, I think it is best you don't try to get involved with me and my life, there is so much you don't know. Trust me, this is best for you." She said with a sigh, her bangs covering both her eyes this time. "I don't know why you like to kiss me or what your reasons are to stay here and worry about me, but you don't need to. You had a life before you met me and you should return to that life, you probably missed a lot of time being in that pod. I don't want to hurt you, but you don't need to get in deep with me, my life has caused nothing but pain that I have had to erase for all of their safety." She brushed her bangs back with her hand.
"Kuro, you say you caused people pain, but do you know the true meaning of it? Do you know the real meaning, what pain is? Have you actually caused it?" Jacob said, a little shocked at her. She just ruined a damned perfect moment with that question, and with that, his memory came back to him, again. He could remember, once again, with perfect detail, everything. The people he ordered executed, the men he fought, the people he lost, everything. It was true, he was in that pod for a while, and probably missed something big, but he was going to get through this, and not alone. For some reason, he was getting emotional, and he couldn't bear it.
"Have you sent people to their deaths? Have you condemned entire worlds, billions of people, to extermination? Have you, ever once, fought an entire army of men, and kill them mercilessly? HAVE YOU LOOKED PEOPLE IN THE EYES, SEE THEIR FEARS, THEIR WORST NIGHTMARES, SEE THEIR PLEAS FOR HELP, AND KILL THEM? HAVE YOU DONE ANY OF THESE THINGS? IVE DONE ALL OF THOSE THINGS, KURO, AND MORE! DO NOT TELL ME THAT I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOU, BECAUSE I GODDAMN KNOW FULL WELL WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! BECAUSE I DAMNED KNOW BETTER THAN YOU WHAT IS HAPPENING!"
He got up, and looked out the window, tears falling from his eyes slowly, unseen by her. He put his head against the window with a thunk, and stared at the snow. It was all too much for him, and he sniffed. He acted horribly, and couldn't stand it. He would never forgive himself for that.
"Have you... Have you looked your creator, your reason for being, in the eye, and watch him change, corrupt, and... And turn against you? Have you stared the gates of hell, fear itself, in the eye, and spat at it?"

"Jacob. I have done many things similar to what you have done. I was created to kill without a motivate, but my master made one. I had little emotion sometimes, and I have a whole other side to me that you don't know. I have looked into someone's eyes, seen their pleas to let them live, and kill them without remorse and I have regretted the day I was created for many, many years. I have cause physical, mental, and emotional pain to many people who didn't deserve it because my master wanted to test my strengths." She tried to keep calm, understanding that all of this was coming back to him like this, all without a good warning. She stood up and walked over to him, noticing the tears. She interlocked her fingers with him, and looked up at him.
"You need to calm down. I don't know what you think of me, but you haven't truly seen what I can do and what I have done. My memory is as sharp as a brand new, double edged, hunting knife. I remember everything that has happen in my life with great detail and clearity. From the day I was born to now, I remember. All the tears, blood shed, and heart aching pain. I never commanded armies, never executed people without being forced to, but I know pain, better than anything. I am half animal, Jacob, you can't see it but if you ever see my animal genes take over my body, you'll know why I have been feared and banned from many different countries. Even here, in Russia, I have had a fight here, it had killed me and I saw hell's gate for a brief moment but it had scared me for weeks." She squeezed his had. She looked out at the endless miles of snow. "But, you should know that no matter what, I am here for you. I just don't want to hurt you if you choose to keep trying to be more than just a friend with me, I won't stop you, I'm just warning you."

He felt her squeeze his hand, and squeezed it back. He was trying to calm himself, and his fists clenched. Jacob knew things that she never would, he experienced a hell she never could, and lived a life she never knew. He was dangerous to the world just by being there. He was a danger to her, and he knew it. If he stayed, he might indirectly kill her.
"Kuro, thanks, but I'm too dangerous to be around. If I stay, you might die, and I would never stand for it. I'm sorry, but I have to go," He said, and let go of her hand, and opened the door. It was snowing harder now, covering most of the side of the house. He stepped out into the snow, holding his coat to his skin, trying to keep warm. "Thank you for all your help, Kuro, but it just might have to end this way,"
And with that, he left the house, walking into nothingness. The snow covered him, engulfed him, and swallowed him. He was walking farther and farther out, going straight for his wreckage, and trying to salvage whatever he could. He knew the walk would be a gruesome, horrible one, but if he could get off this planet, it would be the best he could offer.
He walked through his tears, his pain of leaving her, and didn't know what she would do. He whispered sorry, and continued walking on, almost never stopping.
Kuro was utterly surprised by this. "You're really going to leave like this?" Tears began to spring to her eyes, but she did nothing about them as they slowly feel, one by one. "Why would you want to stay and try to stay with me, then leave without telling me what happened to you? I can take anything in this world, if I am put under enough stress, I can go insane and go on a killing spree. I have done things I regret and that still hurt me to this day, but I worked through the pain and went on with my life. You promised to stay, Jacob." She whispered the last part as the door closed. She fell to her knees, sobbing. She didn't know why it hurt so much to have him gone like this. She was so sick and tired of losing people like this, them all leaving her or her leaving them. She couldn't take all of this pain anymore and could feel the animal genes trying to appeal to her pain, but she was fighting. Always fighting.... That was all she could do. Fight.... Kill...... Hurt...... Die more inside with every passing day.
Jacob knew she was in pain. He knew she was hurt beyond comparison, hurt beyond reason. He had taken a knife, and stabbed in her, and now he had twisted it. He hated the feeling of knowing that while he was walking, she was crying herself awake. It made him feel dead inside. But he had to keep going, he had to get off of this planet. Only then would she be truly safe.
He got to a point, and collapsed, tired, weak, cold. His life was leaving him like blood from a wound, but he didn't stop going. He crawled through the snow, trying desperately to get to that wreckage. He had passed the pod almost an hour ago, and the wreckage couldn't be far away.
That's when he saw it. A golden hilt sticking up out of the ground, the red ruby shining in the white snow. He grabbed onto it with what strength he had left, his head drooping down. And he heard a noise he never thought he would hear. Pods. Drop Pods.
But not his drop pods, no sir. These were the people who wanted to kill him, all coming together to destroy the one thing they hated the most. Him. Jacob looked up as they hit the atmosphere, ripping through it, and landing beyond him.
"I'm sorry, Kuro. This is what I told you about," Jacob said, and he knew she could hear the pods screeching in the night. He knew she could hear them slamming into the ground, and he knew it wouldn't be long before she saw the men themselves. At that point, there was no stopping them. He was the last chance, and if he died, he would die fighting for the girl he loved.
Suddenly, the life ebbed back into him, fueled by god knew what. He found the strength to take up the sword, and it burst into flames. Though it was bigger than him, he found a way to hold it, and soon, his size, armor, and strength returned. He stood, shield in one hand, sword in other, just like old times.
Now, he stood like a wall against a sea of monsters, each one fueled with anger, and powered by Chaos. He breathed in, tears still falling from his eyes, and freezing on his armor.
"Kuro... For you,"

Kuro had felt that something wasn't right and then she heard the screeching Pods that were landing. "Oh no." She whispered as she grabbed her wool jacket, pocket knife, and dagger. She went to the upstairs room, the older boys room and grabbed the rifle, which was fully loaded, and the pistol, tucking it in her waist band of her pants. She quickly ran outside into the night, shooting down the men she saw exiting from the pods. She knew that Jacob would hear the loud Bang!s of her gun shooting off. It wasn't long till she found the large crowd of men. She saw one was about the jump Jacob from behind while another was attacking him, but before he could touch Jacob, she shot off another bullet, it flying past Jacob's head and hitting the other man's head. "You think I would leave you behind when I knew trouble was around?" She asked, a grin on her face.
"Kuro, you won't last. Leave. Run for your life. They will only get stronger," Jacob said, waiting for the Chaos Marines to get there. Kuro was great against the normal Traitors, and he left her to deal with them. Deep down inside, he was happy that Kuro came back, and now she stood, behind him, and both facing hell straight on. "Kuro, what did I do to deserve you? I broke a promise, I left you behind, and I let you face yourself on your own. What did I do to deserve this?"
The Marines weren't too far off, but far enough that none of them could take shots at the men. He waited for Kuro to respond, and shot off a few rounds at the Traitors, popping them like bloody blisters. Shells stained the floor, and blood covered the ice, seeping into it, and changing the color.

Kuro raised an eyebrow at him. "Shut up, I am not as weak as you think. Let's just say, I have face this guys before and my friend Ascirth and The Emperor helped me out with that. These are nothing." She said as she shot off some more of those aliens heads. She quickly reloaded the rifle as Jacob spoke again. "You didn't judge me after all I have done, knowing that I am not as evil as what I have done is, and-" She looked up at him with her classic grin. "Your my friend. I never leave a friend behind, even if they hurt me for what stupid thing they did." She continued to shoot more heads off.
"You know Ascrith and The Emperor? Oh... Oh dear... Why didn't you tell me before? And you have faced Tyranids? Good. Have you faced something that fires back, like Chaos Space Marines?" Jacob said, a little shocked at that. He was grateful, and when he looked at Kuro, she would be able to tell that through his eyes, he was deeply sorry for what he had done. Soon all of the Tyranids were gone, wiped out by Kuro and he.
But ahead of them was another threat, a deadlier one. Zeus. He had gathered enough of his followers, and had risen from the dead because of then, to destroy a planet. And he chose this one. Jacob saw him, but didn't engage. Not yet. He knew that the Marines would be sent first. He got in front of Kuro, and held his sword with both hands, ready to fight. The blade burst into flames, and the shield glowed. Each round he fired off was charged with Psychic energy, enough to kill ten.
"I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell. I'm gonna get ya, satan, get ya, Hells Bells," Jacob said, and open fired.

Kuro nodded. "Yeah. Met them awhile back, apparently, I made a name for me with my bravery in the face of danger. I know everything, Ascrith told me it all. This ugly things came after me and what was left of a planet when him and The Emperor jumped in and help us out." She explained as she blew the last one's head off.
She looked up at the sky and sighed. "Wait a minute. Ascrith said he killed Zeus over a hundred years ago, so that can't be Zeus. I couldn't remember that earlier, it was so long ago since I talked to them. Who knew we would have some friends in common." She grabbed onto the crystal wrapped around her necklace, gripping it so tight that blood began to seep where the cold stone had broke skin. She didn't feel the pan against all of the cold.

"It's Zeus, alright. He's back, but possessed by a Daemon. I don't know who it is, but it won't live the day!" Jacob said, and ripped apart a dozen marines with his Bolters, and cutting down more with the other volley. Soon, they began charging him, and he held his ground, blocking, parrying, dodging, and hacking. Two were sent flying by his shield, and a third was ripped in half by the sword. Yet a fourth was killed by a punch to the chest, which shattered the armor and the ribs.
Jacob was in a flurry of sword fighting, cutting down the enemy as they ran to him, and ripping them to shreds. He showed no mercy, no remorse. No sign of stopping. Only revenge, anger, and hatred for the life he was given. He hated for Kuro to see him like this, but it was unavoidable.
There was almost no stopping them as they ran, and he never let anyone get near Kuro. Though they shot at him, and some hit, he wouldn't let them touch a single hair on her. Not one. Soon, Zeus was walking near him, but he wasn't close.
He watched as a round went straight for Kuro, moving fast, but in his eyes, slowly. She wasn't too far away, and he ran. He ran as fast as he could, and jumped in front of her, the 20mm shells from Zeus ripping into his armor, and into him. His face showed the face of pain, and he crumpled to the floor, blood flowing. He held his wounds, and spoke:
"Run Kuro. Don't ever stop. Don't let them get to you. Get help, but don't... Let... Them... Hurt you. If I die, kill your father for me, but don't forget me,"

Kuro continued to shoot down all the creatures coming at them, but she didn't get much because Jacob kept protecting her. She was a little surprised to see him this way, but she was no different in a battle, her animal genes would take over usually but she kept her human genes in control for now.
She looked over at Jacob when Zeus had shot that bullet right for her and Jacob ran towards her. It seemed like the world slowed down at the moment, the only sound she could her was her own loud heart beat as it thudded in her chest and her ragged breath as she realized what was about to happen. Jacob was going to sacrifice himself for her. She felt tears flow down her eyes as she heard the bullet go through his armor and into his skin and flesh.
She fell to her knees, pulling Jacob into her arms while she watched as the pain engulfed him and she could see his life ebbing from him. "Jacob, I'm so sorry. I should have moved out of the way faster. Please don't die, don't leave me." She sobbed, biting her lower lip as it trembled.
She heard his words, him wanting her to go to be safe. She didn't want to go but if she didn't, they would have to face them both dying here. She pressed her lips against his one last time, tears still falling from her eyes. "I love you, Jacob. I hope with all my heart that we meet again." She said before setting him down gently in the snow and dashing off into the snowy night, shooting at any of those creatures that followed.

Jacob was in pain. So much pain. He couldn't bear it, it was too much. He coughed with every breath, moaned with every movement, but never gave up. He would not die from this. Not while Kuro was alive. He breathed heavily, sucking any air that was around him in a desperate attempt to take his mind off of the bloody wound, which he was now cradling. The blood flowed over his hands, and stained the snow, leaking into the ice.
He saw Zeus smiling and laughing, and he hated him. Jacob hated him with all his life, which, sooner or later, might leave him. But the thought of leaving Kuro... like this... He couldn't, and wouldn't. Tears came to his eyes as he remembered her, and he kept that kiss in his mind.
Zeus was walking for him, slowly, surrounded by his followers. The hatred was flowing from them like blood, and he could feel their anger, but also their happiness from that shot. Zeus had planned it. He wanted something to make Jacob weak before he killed him. Well, he almost did.
"COME AT ME! COME ON! KILL ME! DO IT YOU COWARD! YOU DEMON SPAWN! YOU REJECT! COME! KILL! ME!" Jacob shouted at him, each word spitting defiance at the man. Jacob reached out with one hand, and lifted himself up, grunting with the pain. Soon, he stood, once again, on his two feet, staring at them. They all, except Zeus, stepped back a little bit. "FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED! KILL ME! I dare you,"
Jacob hoped that what Kuro said about Ascrith was true, and that she could find a way to get him. If she didn't bring him... he was finished.
