"Nice." Lea said looking at the dock and the Kebenits. "So your panning on taking a boat upstream?" She asked curiously, sitting on the hot sand to give her feet a rest. (( Kebenits are the boats right?))
"Yup," he smiled at her and sat next to her until she was ready to go again, "I don't get to go to the city too often. I find these human boats to be pretty interesting. Using wood and packing it so tight that water can't get in... It's ingenious actually."
(Yup )
(Yup )
Lea laughed. "Boats are really easy to make." She said getting up and patting the sand off of her clothes. "If you want, I can show you how to make one some time. I can even make one that moves on its own for about 10 minutes at a time." She added bragging a little at her engineering skills and climbing into the boat.
"I don't think it would be hard, it's still intriguing," he said with a shrug, "Besides, mortals have a harder time building them than we ever would."
"Mhm, true." Lea said nodding and waiting for him to get in the boat.
He got in and sat down next to her at the prow of the ship. The slaves started rowing the large ship back up the Nile to the glorious city of Egypt.
They went through a massive gate that lifted momentarily for them then shut behind them. This was the royal canal that led towards a private market. Around them were gold and obsidian statues of the gods. Several of them which looked like Nomti actually turned their heads, watching them pass by.

(lol okay)
The Kebenit finally docked and the soldiers ushered off all of the supplies, seemingly ignoring both Nomti and Lea.
The Anubite stood and walked off, pulling the werewolf behind him, "Would you like anything from the market?" he asked.

"Just a drink?" Lea asked nervously, watching the locals eye her ears. "They hate me don't they?" she whispered to Nomti.
"Pfft, no," he smiled, "They're just curious. If I wasn't with you, the children would be flocking to you," he smiled, "The only reason the adults aren't is because they're too refined," he gestured to the gold linings on their tunics and dressed, "This is a wealthier market after all."
"Oh, ok." Lea said stepping a little closer to Nomti. "They still look like they disprove of me...." she said hugging his arm for comfort.
He blushed as she did this, "Well its not because of your ears. For all they know, you're some new breed of Anubian priestess since you're with me."
