So StaticNightmares and I had a really deep conversation about immortality and this is our conversation- Any thoughts comment on her post and mine!~
STATS:
I'm a deep person
this is my way of not ranting constantly
It's just cause I was having a convo about
It
And my friend said yes because she could do so many wonderful things and it's like
would you really be able to emotionally handle everyone you love dying constantly?
ME:
Well you would be the only one left to witness those wonderful things
You would have no support, nobody to cheer you on or congratulate you,
You would eventually be all alone and those wonderful things, well,
Now they just seem to trigger grief and sadness instead of the joy it once gave
STATS:
People seem to forget that impulsion of the earth is inevitable.
One day the earth will die, and you can't stop that. Once that happens...what are you gonna do?
ME:
Eventually you would see that there was now nobody by your side and the fun things you finally got to do were just depressing and made you upset. You would eventually get depressed watching everyone leave and pass on together and realize they would be together, all of them, when they passed, and you would be the left one out.
STATS:
You'll be floating around eternally in an endless void constantly in pain due to the lack of lungs and inability to suffocate.
And exactly
ME:
You would eventually want to die to be with the people you love, to get rid of that grief, and just fall into a deep depression till the end of time.
STATS
if there is an end of time.
ME:
And regret having the wish to be immortal because it just feels so depressing and struggling to push through.
And if there is not, you'd just be truly alone in everything. You'd just lay there and invision you dying because that is how depressed you have become and that is the closest thing you will ever get to dying.
STATS:
Precisely
It's emotionally destroying
But some people don't think that deeply, I guess.
or some people aren't pessimistic, as my friend said
Lol
ME:
It would eventually just take all of your emotions away and you'll just be an empty shell, your soul and emotions would die away.
Well, they would still be there, just transparent.
STATS:
Mhmm
ME:
God I have never met someone willing to be this deep with me before lmao That felt good spilling that out
---
We're very deep.
What are your thoughts on... my thoughts? Comment and talk!~ Be depressing with us, haha.

Gotta love deep convos.
My response to the other thread:
That sounds horrible, so heeeeeeeeck no. Because of the inhospitable environment thing. And because of my belief in the existence of the spirit and an afterlife.
Although it would definitely be interesting to see how technology and society progresses, no matter how interesting it was, everything would probably get boring after a while. I'd probably get so bored I'd start to play games with people and abuse my powers just for entertainment because my brain would be dysfunctional due to it not being designed to do the same sorts of things over and over again forever.
You two make good friends.

That is interesting! Though it'd most likely end up like the Jetsons
And we do! We've been friends for about 6 days and already we're best friends. We love each other, haha. It's great having someone to talk about this stuff to and Static is the best.

Yes. Immediately yes. We had another deep one about religion and what's after death last night; though, due to its nature, we don't think it's appropriate to share.
As Ashir has said, we've only been friends for 6 days, and we just click so well.
