"Vin?" Blaze stopped too, eyes wide. "Do you see what I see?" The other archers had this dumbfounded looks on their faces, and some took a step back, speechless. "We should pray to the mountain spirits to help us." They whispered.

"Yes, they aren't dying that's what I see." Vinrainla mumbled, slightly biting her lower lip.

"Yup." She relaxed her stance and took another look at the undying soldiers. "Darn. They are arrows with fire! They should be writhing in pain!" Blaze rubbed her hands together, creating a ball of her fire and just threw it at them. One may have stopped just for a moment, but it didn't cause any major damage. "That's not fair."

Vinrainla lowered her bow and took a good look at them. She then looked into the forest, seeing more in the distance. She then took a deep breathe and tried to think of something, "Well if they won't go down for good, then we will just have to crush them underneath something, or chop their legs off or something so they won't be able to move."

Blaze gulped. That'd be the swordmen's duty, but now they had it more difficult than what they'd originally thought. "I'll go warn those down." Someone who had family there too, said and left. "What can we do?" Blaze mused, looking at her mother's troops advance steadily.

"I don't know really," Vinrainla said with a sigh, turning her back toward the forest. "But what I do know is that these arrows won't do any good now."

The soldiers defending the fortress then started running towards the enemy. Blaze looked at Vin, getting more worried with each second that ticked by. "Do you think we should... go there to help?"

Vinrainla nodded her head sternly, "I was actually about to do that." She then started to make her way down.

Blaze wasn't trained to go on a full front attack against the enemy but she could be there in case they slipped past their defenses and attempted to break into the fortress. "I wish I was as calm as you are in situations like this." She said following her, her hands throwing sparks because of the anxiety.

Vinrainla then took in a deep breathe, and flashed her a quick smile, "Oh trust me, I'm actually a little nervous right now." As she began walking, she then made two swords appear into her hands and gave them a good twirl. She actually was a little more than nervous. These guys do seem to be immortal after all.

(Since Ryoran won't be around for a while...)

Blaze took out her daggers, instead. "Okay, then you're extemely good at hiding it." Her weapons were made so that the heat coming from her hands didn't melt them. That's why they were always the same. It was chaos down, because half of the soldiers were running away, and the other half, was too pissed to leave.

Vinrainla pursed her lips when she noticed how chaotic it was down here, versus back on top of the mountain. "Do you know where the captain is? Because we need to come up with a plan, and make all of this a little more organized."

"No idea." Blaze looked around, nervously. Another battle she was in and failed. "But we have to find him wherever he is. Let's go!"

Vinrainla nodded, looking around the place for a few moments before heading off to find wherever the captain is.

"Does anybody knows where the bloody captain is?!" Blaze yelled as she kept on walking, looking for him with Vin. "The War room. We should try there first." She told her.

Vinrainla pursed her lips then nodded her head, "That would be a good place to look."

"I know where it is. C'mon." She urged her to follow, and stopped before an open door from which came and went soldiers.

"I guess he's in here." Vinrainla said as she observed the soldiers coming in and out. She then weaved through them and entered the room.

Maps lined the walls of the room with kittle furniture, just a table where the captain leaned over more maps, looking for any possible escape routes.

Vinrainla leaned against a wall and looked at the captain for a moment before speaking, "Think your going to let them win this and just retreat?"
