When they were out of the fortress, he breathed in deeply. There were still some bodies that needed to be disposed off but the air was fresh and it gave him hope that things could turn out okay. "We have to go... that way." He pointed.

Vinrainla looked off toward the point where he pointed and nodded slowly, not paying nay attention to some of the bodies laying around. "Lead the way." She said, smiling softly.

Ryoran smiled at her and guided her in that direction. As usual when he travelled, he started singing, a bit off key but he wasn't THAT bad.

Vinrainla chuckled as she listened to him, smiling softly as she walked by his side. She would sing with him, but first of all she didn't even know the words to what he even was singing.

Towards the end of the afternoon, he recognized the place they were at and stopped walking. "Alright, close your eyes. Don't you dare open them until I say so, okay? No spying." He grinned, excited like a little kid.

Vinrainla smiled and closed her eyes. "Okay, they're closed."

Ryoran led her by her hand so that she would step on the right places. After about two minutes, he stopped and kissed her cheek. "You can open your eyes now." In front of her she'd find that same house they'd talked about some time before.

The moment she opened her eyes, her jaw dropped opened in astonishment. It just seemed to unreal that Ryoran had actually built that house they had talked about all those months ago. Though after a few moments of just staring at it, her lips slowly forme into a grin. "It's perfect."

"Our little nest." He scooped her up in his arms grinning too, glad she liked it. Months of work had paid off, apparently. "I had some help, but I took care of the stuff inside." He carried her to the house. "The key is in my hat. Can you reach it?"

"Of course." Vinrainla grinned, wrapping her arm around his shoulder and quickly kissed his cheek before lifting up his hat.

His cheek felt warm where she'd kissed him. "It's inside, just put your hand in the hat." He really hoped she would like the inside of the house as much as the outside. He wanted her to be happy with it since, after they helped somewhat restore the peace in the land, they'd be living there. "Only an illusionist, or an illusionist's wife can pull stuff out of a hat. Consider yourself very lucky."

Vinrainla grinned and reaches her hand I to his hat and sure enough felt a key and pulled it out. "Guess I am pretty lucky." She said, chuckling lightly as she twirled the key around her fingers.

"Course you are." He leaned to kiss her lips again, as sweetly as possible, then nuzzled her cheek. "Well, open the door already. You're making this guy very anxious."

"Hey, I'm getting to it." Vinrainla smirked and returned his kiss before putting the key into the lye hole and unlocking the door. She then opened it and took a look inside, raising an eyebrow as she did. "I must say, you did a pretty good job."

He carried her inside, chuckling. "I'm sorry. Just wanted you to see it." He set her down and walked towards the kitchen. "Look! It's got everything. I will even help you know! And... and in the back, I had it all set for a nice garden. And... I also had this extra wood..." He started walking upstairs. "I used for an attic of sorts for your ravens."

Vinrainla was grinning the entire time, because of his excitement and the fact that he actually built and entire house just for the two of them. She followed right behind him, nodding to his words while she looked around the area.

"And finally," He opened a wooden door that led to the biggest room. "Our room." He put his hands behind his back, balancing on his heels as he watched her reaction. "I made sure the windows are big enough to let a lot of light in."

Vinrainla took a good look around the room, a bright smile on her face before turning around to face Ryoran. "It's perfect."

"I'm really glad you like it." He kissed the top of her head and went to sit at the ege of the bed, patting the spot next to him. "Are you hungry? I have some extra bread I sneaked out of the kitchens back in the fortress."

"Well it's lovely, and sure that'll be fine." Vinrainla said as she sat on the bed next to him, smiling.
