I've been watching it all morning on Amazon Prime and I'm loving the Urban Fantasy setting. All the fairies flying around, the 'puck'(satyrs) running about and the werewolves and so on. It's absolutely up my alley in every way. I'm wondering if anyone is interested in a Victorian/Steampunk era Urban Fantasy group?
Have you watched it yet? What were your thoughts about the plotline, the effects and the characters?

An urban steampunk RP does sound fun! I need to rebuild some steampunk personas.
I'm going to get to work on it and see what we come up with! I'll invite you once I've got it up.
Who?
Sorry.. Couldn't help it.

I just started watching the series! I'm only partway through episode one, but looking forwarding to going on a binge to watch the rest of the season! I love it so far.
I'm on episode four and I'm absolutely charmed, it has such a rich historical aesthetic- war, fashion, treatment of "immigrants"- that even the fantasy elements feel natural. The characters are charming and believable, it has me hooked.

ABSOLUTELY! They put a lot of thought into the history driving the conflict and it has many layers to that conflict in a way that makes it familiar, doesn't it? I love the idea, and the way it's played out. My husband just told me tonight that back in July, Amazon announced they're doing a second season so YAY! I can't wait!
I haven't watched the show myself, but it sounds like it would be really fun to rp, especially with multiple people.
UPDATE: I'm currently hard at work building the group. It will be called Fableborough and I'm putting the world together as we speak! I will put a link up in this thread and advertise it officially once I have the setting/society/race pages all finished.
I finished this tonight and immediately started over again at the first episode :' ) It's perfect.
