She paused, gazing at him for a moment before agreeing with a nod.
He picked her up and continued walking, keeping his eyes and senses alert just to be safe.
"Because i'm a gentleman...and I hate snobby pricks who think they can take what they want."
"He'd kill you. He did that to everyone who tried to help me."
"He'll have to catch me first."he smirked.
He grinned widely,"Just more of a challenge."
Ink stared at him in disbelief then sighed, "Are we almost there?"
Leith nodded,"Just a little longer..."and surely enough they soon arrived.
Ink stared at the small town, marveled it almost, but still.. Carnisun's search parties could be anywhere.
He brought her to an inn and paid for a room,"Only staying a night."he carried her up to the room then set her on the bed.
Ink looked down at herself. The dress was terribly ruined. Good. She never liked clothes anyway, but to her dismay.. she found herself puzzling over how to take it off. The longer the material stayed on, the more uncomfortable she felt.
He looked around the simple room before he sat besides her, let out a sigh, flopping back. He watched her curiously, thinking she was rather beautiful.
A grunt escaped her lips. It irked her to the bone, that damned dress. She huffed, glancing over at Leith before quickly looking away.
He sat up to look at her and brushed his bangs out of his face,"Is something wrong Ink? You seem annoyed..."
She sighed, "I.. I don't know how to get this dress off." Contraption actually.
He blinked a few times,"Why do you want to take it off?"he reached back and unclasped the dress.
He fully unclasped the dress,"Well...is there anything you prefer that's more comfortable?"
