His muscle tightened slightly when he put the alcohol on it, but other then that there weren't any other reactions. When Leith finished with the bandages he would put his chain shirt back on.
He put his things back into his bag then walked back to where he was previously sitting,"Well rest up I guess. We need to figure out where to start..."
Kiran grabbed a pear and took a bite, "well where did she run from?"
He shrugged and grabbed an apple, happily taking a bite,"She's gonna have to see if she can at least describe it."
Kiran nodded continuing to eat his pear.
Leith tossed his apple core out the window once he was finished.
The crisp sounds only made her more anxious, quietly she peered out from under the blanket, fixing her eyes onto them. And of course their food.
Taking the last bite from his pear he set it on the table, and took out a knife to cut the ham into two even halves.
He smiled happily as he watched him then glanced over at her,"Want some?"
She shook her head, but continued to watch them, eyeballing their every move. She couldn't rest having an interesting sight before her.
He chuckled and nibbled on his ham once his half was given to him.
Kiran pulled out some silverware and gave a fork and knife to Leith, after that he started to eat his own half.
He took the silverware and began to cut out pieces of his ham, happily eating it.
Ink was rather enjoying watching them eat, slightly wishing she could too, but it's not something she's capable of. She's still only a simple idea that was put on paper.
She didn't notice the smile that somehow reached her lips.
She didn't notice the smile that somehow reached her lips.
Leith's eyes eventually landed on her and he blinked at her smile. He set his plate down into his lap and smiled.
She laughed timidly before the black solvent trickled down to her chin. With her palm, she quickly wiped it only to smear it onto her skin.
He set his plate down and walked over,"Hey...are you alright Ink?"
Still attempting to wipe it off and hold it in, but found herself coughing it up.
Kiran had spotted the black liquid and was curious as to what it was, although he had noticed she had the smell of ink about her but not quite putting two and two together. Once she started coughing it up he emptied the fruit bowl and held it out for her.
One hand covered her mouth, ink seeping through her fingers and running down her arm onto the now stained sheets. The other reached out for the bowl. She needed to conserve what ink she was wasting.
