Clyde was running a base, he was as confused as ever. When a company called "Griffen and Kruger" signed a deal with the Military and Clyde and his troops started seeing random girls with guns, he was puzzled. What was there a purpose? Did he really need them for something? Why would you waste money by building an android to hold the weapon, rather than just make the weapon? The thoughts raced through his mind, until he bumped into one. Speechless, he didn't know what to say. He was the Commander.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
