She blinks and nudges into him, hugging around him tightly for a moment before pulling away and going to rub at her face with her hands, pulling them down after a few moments to set them on her lap, "W-We should go, ju-just in case they had... someone waiting in case they didn't come back..."

"Good idea." He got in and drove off, determinedly looking straight ahead.

Cora keeps in her seat, sitting still for most of the time, though at one point she pulled her legs up to hold around her knees, keeping them close to her chest do she could bury her face into them, shaking her head a bit as she did so. "I-I'm so-sorry I-I'm f-freaking out like this A-Anthony..." she says with a snicker that suggest she finds her weakness of sorts a bit amusing.

"It's alright. I did the same thing when I first killed someone too."

She blinks and wiggles a bit, "Not... ju-just sayin' that...?" She peeks over at him from her peripheral as she moves her head ever so slightly.

"No. It's a perfectly normal reaction for just about everybody."

The girl wiggles for a bit more before pulling her knees away from her chest and wiping her arms over her face, "A-Alri-right... I-I'm still so-sorry..."

"Don't be. It's okay," he reassured her, glancing over to make sure she was alright.

She keeps wiping at her face until she slowly put her legs down over the seat again, putting her head back. After a few moments she glanced over at him, smiling a bit, "What're you starrin' at, huh?"

"Something," he replied as they drove off. "Something..."

They were able to go another couple of miles before Anthony pulled into a gas station, getting out to see if he could fill up the gas tank.
"Stay here," he told Coraline after starting to fill up and went into the convenience store thing, shifting the rifle off his shoulders.

Cora blinked at Anthony but nodded, albeit reluctantly, sitting in the car until there was a 'clump!' noise, making her flinch as a zombie clung to her window. She squeaked and made her way over to Anthony's side, stumbling out his door before having to scramble up and run, one of the deaders chasing her from around the back.

"FRICK FRICK FIRCK!" she yelled as she pulled her handgun out and pointed it back at the zombie, hitting it in the leg, only slowing it down but making it angry, "FRICKIN' FRICK!"

Anthony whirled at the commotion, lifting his rifle up and taking aim.
"CORA, MOVE!" he yelled before blasting it through the skull and running over to her. "DAMMIT- YOU OKAY?!"

She nods, "Yup...!" She flinches and points her gun past him to get the second one that had come around... She huffs, then looks around nervously, "I don't... I don't see any more of 'em..." She goes to try and get to the top of the humvee from the hood and look around some more, "Yeah... yeah I think that's it..."

"Well, let's go, just in case. Someone's already been here, that's why there aren't many walkers left."

She blinks, "Who was that you think?" She blinks towards the small store, "Was there... anybody in there? Even a body maybe?"

"I have no idea... But there were bodies in there of deadheads, only they didn't have heads anymore. They looked like they had been decapitated by whoever was here originally, and the shelves seemed to be messed around with. I didn't see anyone there, though... They must be long gone by now."

Cora blinks at him, nodding for a moment before saying, "Alright... you get in the car and I'll be there in a minute... I wanna go look at somethin'." She smiles at him innocently.

"You yell if you need me," he told her with a trace of sternness in his voice. "I'll hear ya."

She gives him a curious look before nodding and trotting off and into the small building, and after a few minutes she comes walking out again, stuffing a few items into her bag's side pockets, going to hop into the humvee and nods at Anthony, "Okay... all good I think."

"Alright, let's blow this joint." He started the Humvee and slowly pulled out of the gas station, looking both ways (force of habit) before pulling back out onto the road.
