Cora thinks for a moment before nodding, "Yeah, alright... That work with you Katana-Boy?" She smirks a bit.
Nick shrugged, raising an eyebrow at this new nickname. "Whatever. I'm just along for the ride."
Cora nods for a moment, then goes back through her bag until she found her little sock monkey at the bottom, going to set her bag on the floor of the humvee and pull her knees up to her chest to nuzzle her little stuffed animal.
"So where'd you get your katana?" Nick asked out of mild curiosity, gazing out the window.
Cora blinks up at him and shrugs, "Scavenging, stealing, the usual stuff you do to survive..." She nods, "Brother and I were taking a break and went hunting simply for the shits and giggles of it, there was a sword shop where we went hunting, and bip-bobbly-boop, got myself a sword... Had it since I was like... nine I think?" She nods a bit, "Not the best with it, but it's saved my ass a couple times."
"That's the good thing about swords. They're quiet, they're effective, and they don't need to be reloaded. Can I see it?"
She blinks and fidgits a bit, then goes to move so she could pull the sheath from her form, handing the entire thing forward to him, "Sorry about all the blood stains on her and everything... never really bothered cleaning her off..."
He unsheathed the katana, inspecting the blade carefully. He tugged his bandana off, spit on it, and wiped the sword down to clean it off some (he was a little OCD when it came to keeping his own sword clean). Nick paused when he hit the maker's mark at the hilt.
"Not a bad katana maker," he admitted, scrubbing at the mark. "I would guess this was an expensive sword before money became useless."

Cora blinked and wiggled forward to look at it from over his shoulder, "Oh, that thing? I just thought it was a pretty mark." She snickers a bit, "Never payed much attention to it really."
"Good sword maker, I'd think. Nice balance, nice hilt. Just well used, that's all." He finished cleaning her sword and sheathed it, handing it back to her. "Nice find, I'd say."
He unsheathed his own katana, smiling slightly as it gave a gentle ring at his touch. He started to wipe his blade down as well, scratching at some of the more stubborn blood stains.

Cora blinked at him as she took her sword back, going to look at his curiously, "There's no use cleaning it, ya know... Just gonna get all nasty again..."
"I know. But my philosophy is that if you take care of your sword, it'll take care of you." He shrugged, working at the small dragon at the base of the hilt. "I love it too much to let it get too nasty anyways."
She blinks and shrugs, "It's a sword... can't really love something that doesn't love you back..."
"No. But it's something." He smiled slightly. "I'm not gonna marry it or anything, it's just somethin' I like."
She stares at him for a moment after his statement, then blinks down at the floor of the humvee before putting her sword over her form again and going to grab her sock monkey to hold it tight, "Hm..." She blinks out the window and scoots over to it, watching anything and everything that passes by closely.
He finally finished cleaning his sword and sheathed it again, ending the small ringing it had been emitting. He leaned his head against the window and stared at the passing trees, sighing deeply.
After so long, it seems like Coraline's fallen asleep, though she's wiggling and whimpering every so often that suggests her dreams aren't all too pleasant.
Anthony had been silent the whole time, only listening to their conversations. He glanced back when he heard her whimpering, wondering if he should wake her up or not.
The girl kept wiggling and making these noises until she went to flip over to face the other direction, only making her fall to the floor of the humvee with a hard thud, waking her up with a jolt. She looked around and scrambled back up to the seat, holding her side, "O-Ow... frick..."
"You okay?" Anthony asked in concern, craning his neck to look back at her.
Nick jumped at the sudden sound, startled out of a doze and instinctively going for his sword. He calmed down once he realized it was just Coraline, watching the road for Anthony since he was driving and looking back at Cora.
