She nods a bit, "They're nice..." She smiles and pokes him in the side gently, "But why is it funny?"

"You're just so determined to cuddle that you'll bend yourself every which way," he replied, glancing down at her. "I dunno."

Cora snickers a bit and shrugs, "Meh... I just really like hugs and snuggles sometimes." She nudges and nuzzles into his shoulder for a few moments before laying it there plainly again.

He finally pulled over once the sun started setting, arching his back and getting out. "C'mon, let's take inventory."

Cora slumped back off of him, blinking down and grabbing her supplies to put her bag over her back after she zipped it up, sock monkey safely inside, going to get out and follow him.

Anthony flipped open the trunk and started looking through the supplies.
"We really need more ammo," he mumbled, noting the two cases of ammunition left.

Cora paused and then stood on her toes to look around, then ran off for a moment to squint her eyes, then runs back over, "Maybe if we lightened the load by one person, there wouldn't be as much ammo use? Let's to protect?"

"What're you saying?" he asked, his brows furrowing slightly.

She shrugs a bit, "Well I did say I had to leave at some point," she rubs at the back of her neck, "And I'm just gonna use up your supplies, and you got Nick now..."

"Cora!" he growled, his shoulders slumping dejectedly. "C'mon, now! You can't come and get me all attached to you and then just leave! You're fine, I'll just get some more ammo somewhere, and Nick has a sword so he doesn't really use a lot of ammo. Cora..."

She flinched as he yelled and shrunk in on herself a bit, "I didn't... I didn't mean to..." She looks down, "B-But I don't want you to waste your supplies on me..."

"It wouldn't be a waste, Cora," he replied softly, his eyes large and sad. "If you leave I'm gonna follow you."

She blinks at him and shakes her head, "Ant, you don't have to do that... I already have a place to go and I don't... I don't wanna pull you away from wherever you're gonna go..."

"I'm not goin' anywhere. I have nowhere to go," he told her with a shrug.

She frowns and shakes her head, "I still... you're just saying that, but I don't... I don't wanna get you in trouble and I gotta go keep my promise..."

"What trouble would I get into? I'll help you, Cora. I'll go with you. Nick will follow, I think. I just don't want to be alone again."

She huffs and shakes her head, "I could... I could come look for you every so often... so you and him could be a duo... I-I don't wanna... take away from you guys, you seemed to connect real quick..."

"How are you gonna find us, Cora? It's not like you can just call us up and we can arrange to meet at a Starbucks or something. He seemed to be connecting with you too, even if he isn't the huggiest guy in the world. You won't be taking away..."

She blinks and gives a curious look at 'starbucks' but then shakes her head and decides now isn't the time to question it, "I... I'll figure out a way, but I'll slow you guys down."

Anthony sighed sadly, running a hand through his hair. "You're quite determined, aren't you? Well, in determined too, Cora. I'm gonna follow you, you realize that, right?"
