The girl blinked up at him and closed her eyes as well, snuggling into him as much as possible, and was soon out cold, but didn't let go of him at all, actually probably holding him a bit tighter as if he was a giant teddy bear.

Anthony was far from asleep and smiled down at her, staying still so he wouldn't wake her up.
He was a very warm teddy bear.

Cora stayed asleep and snuggly for a few hours, until she woke up around three or four, then wiggled away from Anthony so she could rub at her eyes and wake herself up a bit.

"Good morning," he mumbled, his eyes still closed. He had been awake the entire night, listening to everything that was happening.

Cora blinked up at him and looked around a bit before sitting up to stretch her arms, "You woke up before me?" She snickers a bit.

"I've been awake the whole night. I told you I wasn't going to go to sleep."

She frowns and mumbles, "Damn it..." She pouts a bit, "Why don't ya sleep though, you won't be okay in the morning if you don't...."

He shrugged at her. "I'm not tired. I've gone a day or two without sleep before, I'll be fine. I'll just pull a Nick later on and crash when I get the chance."

She snickers, "Is that what we're gonna call crashing now? 'pulling a Nick'?" She seems amused by the idea.

"Why not?" He grinned, peering through the back window at Nick himself. He was still stretched out on the backseat, his eyes closed and his hand on the hilt of his katana.

Cora snickers some more and nods, "Alright, that's what we'll call it, you and me." She goes to put her hands together as she stretched her arms upward, then went to hop off the humvee, wobbling a bit after doing so, but then stood up straight.

Nick bolted upright when she landed, unsheathing his katana and almost smacking his head on the roof of the Humvee. He paused a moment, blinking against the dim sunlight before remembering where he was and sheathing sword again.

Cora looks at Nick and waves at him a bit through the window, then looks around and nods up at Anthony, "Thanks for the ride Ant." She smiles at him.

Without a word he dragged her into another hug, not wanting to let go this time because he knew as soon as he did she'd be gone.
Nick got out, stretching and yawning as he slung the sword sheath across his back again.

Cora blinked with wide eyes and sighed, hugging him back, "Can't stand here forever Ant..."

He made an unhappy grumbling noise, handing her a grenade as he stepped back. "Please, Cora, don't argue with me on this one. You won't take the ammo so take this instead- just in case."

She huffs and pushes it back at him gignerly, "Ant, I'll be fine... I've gone without grenades for this long."

"Just take it," he insisted, shoving it back in her hand. "Just in case what we were talking about comes along again, it could help slow it down a bit."
"You're leaving?" Nick asked as he leaned against the Humvee, raising a black eyebrow.

The girl looked back at Nick and nodded then handed the grenade back to Anthony, "That won't slow it down at all Ant, it's too big for this little thing to do much at all..."

He sighed heavily, shaking his head. "But it will work against a horde. Highly effective, I've noticed. Even if it doesn't hit the brain it'll blow their legs off and make it that much more difficult to get you. Please, Cora? Just so I feel a little better about this?"
