Cora went over to one of the doors, opened it, threw her items in, then closed the door, going to hop onto the roof and lay next to Anthony, "I'm kinda a moron, aren't I?"
"What makes you say that?" Anthony asked, glancing over at her. "Did Nick call you a moron? Don't listen to him, he's always really pessimistic."
She shakes her head, "No, I brought up memories, THAT makes me a moron..." She huffs and goes to nuzzle at the side of his face with the front of hers, then looks back up to the stars again, "I manage to do that a lot, you'd think I'd learn at some point."
"Oh. Yeah, that's a little moronic, but did he really mind?"
She shakes her head, "Doesn't matter whether he minded it or not, what matters is I made him sad and I'm an idiot..."
Anthony sighed, not really having much of an argument against that. He patted her shoulder and went back to staring up at the night sky, listening to their surroundings.
Cora blinks at his pat and looks down, then hugs tighter to him with a sigh. "Missed you..." she mumbles, repeating what she's already said because she feels like she should say something, but overall she isn't quite sure what to say.
"Missed you too," he replied quietly, blinking up at the moon.
She nods a bit and blinks up with him after a few moments, "Hm..." She thinks for a moment before simply snuggling into him, nudging into the upper side of his torso like a cat would, relaxing on the roof.
He continued to rub her shoulder, his broad chest expanding slightly with each breath he took. Closing his eyes, he asked her something that had been bugging him for a while.
"Seen the Brood Mother or whatever the thing's called lately?"
"Seen the Brood Mother or whatever the thing's called lately?"
She shakes her head a bit, "We lost it a while back, but I'm pretty sure Rem still thinks it's after us..." She sighs, "Which doesn't help with his newfound "Cora's gonna get herself killed" paranoia trip."
"This Remy guy- do you like him?"
He almost felt like a cross between a paranoid father and an overprotective brother, with an attached boyfriend thrown in there as well. Of course he didn't say this. She'd skin him alive.

She blinks, "Define like, because we might have different definitions, especially considering how weird, and kinda creepy, mine are."
"Well, is he a good guy? Is he likable? Like, I think I'm likable. Nick is less likable- that kinda like. Is he good, bad, tolerable? If he's mean I can kick his ass for ya."
She snickers a bit, sitting up and crossing her legs as she wiggled to face Anthony with a little shrug, "He's nice. Used to be this big bad mercenary and saved me from some people, which is how we know each other... That was a few weeks ago now I think." She nods, "Can't tell whether I like him in a brotherly way or uh... not, which is where it gets confusing..." She rubs at the back of her neck.
He shrugged slightly, rubbing his dog tags with his thumb. "He sounds like a good guy."
To be bluntly honest Anthony was jealous, but again, he didn't dare say that. He liked Cora and despite his sweet nature didn't exactly want to share her with other males.
Maybe it was a guy thing, he didn't know. Still, he felt awfully protective of her.

She watches as he rubs at his tag, and after a few moments she sighed, pulling his hand away, "Come on, what's wrong Ant?"
"Wrong? Nothing's wrong," he replied, sounding slightly surprised. "Why?"
His thumb was still moving like it hadn't yet realized there was nothing to rub, and finally quieted down at her touch.

She sighs and moves a second hand to hold around the one she's already holding, "Ant..." She rubs her thumb on the back of his hand, "If something's wrong, I really wanna know okay? I don't like people I like, being hurt..."
"I'm not hurting, Cora," he insisted, looking over at her. "I'm fine, don't worry about it. Nothing important."
