"He looked like a puppy that got dumped on the side of the road," he told her with a shrug. "Yeah, he was pretty sad."
Coraline blinks for a moment before pouting slightly and nodding, "Thanks..." She huffs and looks down to the fire, "Anything else ya need help with?"
"Don't think so," he muttered as he suspended the fish above the fire with two other sticks. "Now we wait."
The girl thinks for a moment before nodding and standing, "If you need me, I'll be with Ant." She nods and turns around, heading towards the large man, going to hug around his torso, no matter what he was up to, unless severely important, "Whatcha doin'?"
He nodded, sitting, crossing his legs, and leaning against a tree. "I'll be here."
Anthony looked down at her, slightly surprised although he was getting used to random hugs by now. "Nothing, really. Just keeping watch- why?"

Cora frowns, "I'm really sorry I made you sad... I don't like doing that, I really don't, a-and if you want me to stay, I'll do my best to make sure I can, but I don't... I don't like making you sad Ant." She nudges up at him and hugs a bit tighter.
"Oh, Cora," he sighed, patting her on the back, "you did what you had to do and you did what you felt was right. That's okay. It's not like it's the first time in my life I've ever been sad. I'll recover, I always do."
She shakes her head, still nudging, "I wanna make it so you're happy though Ant... I don't want you hurt."
"I'm gonna be happy if you're happy, Cora, even if you're not here," he assured her with a shake of the head. "It's okay. Do what you won't, I'm not gonna try to stop you this time. You're as stubborn as a mule and arguing with you won't make any difference."
She snickers, "Hm... maybe not, but still..." She huffs for a bit, "I'll stay as long as I can this time, alright? Doubt Remy'll like it, but... I'll try." She nods.
"Bring Remy along, I don't care. I can hang out with anybody and I'll be fine, just so long as he doesn't try to kill me," Anthony told her with a shrug of his broad shoulders. "C'mon. If I wasn't so laid back I woulda killed KB by now."
"I heard that."
"Case in point. Shut up, Nick."
"I heard that."
"Case in point. Shut up, Nick."
She snickers, "You two got a bit snappier since I left."
"He's always been snappy, and I've gotten to know him," Anthony replied with a slight laugh.
"He's been ornery all the time," Nick said in his own defense, flashing them a rare grin. "He's a snappy little bugger when he's not happy."
"Shut up," Anthony repeated, laughing as he threw some fish guts at him.
"Hey! You're wasting bait!"
"I don't care!"
... Spazzes, both of them.

Coraline snickers, "You guys are silly..." She nudges into Anthony some more, then sighs, hugging him tight for a moment before going back over to the fire to sit next to it, leaning back on her hands as she sat, "Never really made a fire, how ya do it?" She smiles at Nicky.
(Yeah, sorry. I've just been a little busy lately and I'm trying to remember how to start a fire- I'll reply as soon as I can, I promise )
Nick studied her a moment, then gestured down at the fire. "Simple enough, really. Flint or rocks work the best, but two sticks of the same wood work if you have no other alternative. Magnifying glasses are good too, if you have any- the concentrated sunlight in 'em makes it easier to catch them on fire. I'll show you how to do it next time I make a fire, 'kay?"
She smiles and nods, "Alright, thanks." She smiles happily at him, then looks back up at Anhony before deciding to keep warming herself by the fire. Remy's gonna be angry over this, but she's happy right now.
He shrugged his thin shoulders slightly, closing his eyes and warming himself against the flames with an odd expression of serenity- again, rare for him.
Anthony was perched on top of the Humvee again, fiddling with his rifle as he looked down the highway for signs of movement.

Coraline eventually looked back over at Anthony, going to stand and lean against the humvee next to him, "Watcha lookin' for?" She squinted down the road.
"Anything," he replied. "I'm not sure if there's a specific thing I'm lookin' for. I'm just watching. Watching for threats and allies, zombies and people. Anything, really."
