Cora blinked over towards where Anthony went, "You just throwin' chunks or is somethin' going on over there I should be worried about?"

Anthony cracked up laughing, poking his head over the top of the Humvee. "I'm just being a dweeb, that's all. I'm fine."
Nick rolled his eyes, inspecting the fish before pulling one off the stick and taking a bite. He studied it, spitting a small bone out nonchalantly before finally deciding it was good and cooked. "Help yourself."

Coraline gave Anthony a confused look as she tilted her head to the side curiously, but once Nick said the food was cooked, she spun around and hopped over, going to sit and wiggled her back end almost like a dog as she squatted near the fire.

He passed the stick to her, scooting over to give Anthony some room as he came around to sit next to the fire.
"I think we should make a run into the city today," he told the two of them, slinging the rifle over his shoulder. "We're low on just about everything, so it's just a matter of time before we go in."
"Sounds fine with me," Nick replied, spitting another fish bone out. "Watch for these, they can lodge in your throat and choke ya. Not fun."

Cora thinks before nodding a bit, "We gonna get specific stuff per person or just run around and grab whatever we can?"

"Ammo and food are the most important things, obviously. Water, too. If there's anything else worth grabbing then by all means, grab it," Anthony told her with a shrug.

Cora thought for a few moments again before biting into her fish, clenching one side of her jaw as she swallowed, then unclenched and spit a small bone into the fire.

"Yeah, maybe I didn't do the best job filleting it," Nick commented, handing the stick to Anthony. "Just shut up and eat it, you big meatloaf. It's cooked, it's fine."
After a cautious glance Anthony finally sighed and took a piece off, putting the fish back over the fire to continue roasting.

Coraline snickered, "It's fine Ant, just eat it." She takes a bit bite, and every so often spits out tiny bones.

"Watch the bo-" Nick started to repeat before Anthony started coughing violently. "You idiot- bone?"
He could hardly nod, he was coughing so hard. Nick sighed and slapped him on the back with surprising force for such a slight guy. "You good?"
There was a pause as Anthony got his breath back, an eye twitching, before nodding. Nick smiled slightly, shaking his head. "Slow down, dummy. Watch the bones."

Coraline, despite being slightly worried, actually laughed pretty hard at this, going to rest back on one hand as she kept her fish in the other, "Silly bear." She lowered her laugh to a snicker before taking another bite.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking," Anthony finally laughed at her, rubbing his throat. "Holy crap, you're pretty strong for such a little guy."
"I was an EMT," Nick told him with a shrug, "I saved little fluff-brained pooh bears like you for a living-"
This earned him a swat to the head from Anthony, bowling him over despite the fact it wasn't that hard. He tumbled away, clutching his fish so it didn't get dirty, finally sighing and laying where he landed and picking bones out of his meat. "You're welcome."

Cora huffed and shook her head, "Will you two be nice? Jeez." She snickered and looked down at her fish to take a bit, then pouted slightly as she finished off, "Darn me and ma tummy."

"Take another one, there're extras," Nick told her, pointing a the stick. "Go on, eat it."

She snickers a bit and shrugs, "I assume Ant'll need most of 'em, he's the biggest."

(ASFDJGL I completely forgot about this. Imma sowwy, but this first week of high school has been busy for me xP)

"Eh, you can eat some more," Anthony told her with a wave of one of his large paws. "I'm not that hungry."
"Well, then you're a freak," Nick commented as he started on his second fish. "I'm freaking starving."
"Good for you, then." Anthony gave him a sweetly sarcastic grin as he stood up and dusted himself off, taking a cautious look around as he did so.

Coraline blinked over and thought for a moment before reluctantly taking another fish, "Just a half a' one..." she mumbled as she began nibbling, then looked up over towards Anthony, and after swallowing, asked, "Whatcha lookin' around for Ant?"
