She snickers, "There's a backseat to this thing right?" she asks as she looks over the shoulder of his seat.

"Yeah. Why?" He arched his back, wincing slightly as his spine popped slightly. "Ooh. That felt good... That one little spot had been buggin' me for a while..."

She snickers, "Alright come on, we're getting out and getting in the back... you lay on your stomach too and I'll get that spot fixed up." She nods and reaches over to open the door and hop out from his seat.

He popped the door open, getting out once she was out as well. He threw a cautious look around, warily looking for any zombies or otherwise, before getting in the back seat of the Humvee.

Cora nods, "Alright, get on your stomach so I can get to that spot." She nods and takes over his job of looking around and listening closely.

Anthony obeyed, flexing his shoulders once before relaxing, taking a deep breath. The shaking had died away completely now, which was a relief.

Cora goes to get up and wiggle into the backseat, closing the door behind her with a bit of a struggle, but eventually getting it done. She went to wiggle forward on his back, a shin flat on the seat on either side of him, though one probably squished to the back of the seat, "Alright, now where is it specifically...?"

"Right between the shoulder blades," he told her, turning his head slightly to look at her. "It's that real awkward spot that's near impossible to itch unless you're Mr. Fantastic."

She snickers a bit, not actually knowing who that was, but it sounded funny to her anyway. She moves one hand over her other and locks her fingers, then uses the ball of her hand to knead into his shoulders, gently first though, "Right there?"

His shoulders stiffened up somewhat and he released his breath in a wheeze, closing his eyes again. "Yeah, that's it- maybe a little to the left."

She smiled a bit and did as told, "You seemed kinda sad about me leaving..." she said after a few moments, "Can I ask why? Or, ya know, am I have hallucinations that people like me more than they actually do?" She snickers.

"You're the first living, breathing human being I've seen in a really long time, Coraline. You haven't tried eating my brains and you haven't tried to kill me, either. I missed human company," he explained. "I'm a social guy. I just missed having someone to talk to, that's all. You make for a good friend."

She thinks for a moment before smirking and nodding, "Well technically I did try and kill you twice... when we first met and just now trying to convince you to hunt. Don't those count?" She laughs a bit, kneading just a biiiiit harder.

"Not really... The first was self defense and you didn't mean to get me killed the second time 'round," he mumbled, his shoulders arching slightly as she went at it a bit harder. "Ow."

She pulls her hands back, "S-Sorry..." She frowns a bit and goes back to what she was doing, but doing so even lighter than when she started, "Sorry..."

"No, you're fine. It always hurts... I think that's the whole point. A little pain for a little happiness later on. Isn't that always how life works?"

She blinks and smiles a bit, "Well aren't you deep..." She snickers slightly and relaxes a bit herself, kneading a bit more, "Just... don't put it off as 'the spot' if it gets too bad... I don't like hurtin' people I have a liking for." She nods.

"I try," he said with a grin. "So why would you leave anyways?"

She blinks for a moment before saying, "I made a promise to a little girl who's been through a lot of shit, and deserves better than what she has..." She pauses for a moment before shaking her head and focusing on his back, "Poor thing's been through hell, from what I've seen and heard..."

"No joke? Little girl? Where is she?" He looked back at her, somewhat surprised. "God, a kid... Hard to believe there are still kids in this world, huh..."
