I wanna make a new character since I won some bacon but Idk what I should make their race, or what kind of class ish thing they should be.
So, I was wondering what you guys think would be interesting. Would you guys find a bird girl wizard interesting, for example? Or would a human be best, but have an interesting story and some odd class?
Just comment a race you find interesting and a class(that you also find interesting). I want to know what others would like to rp with and base my character off recommendations!
I was thinking the class would help determine the backstory.

Personally, I think all the fluff on the outside like race and class aren't as important as depth and personality. Adding the little details to a character that make them feel alive. I always seem to find something about all peoples characters that I really like. But I think the biggest issue I have had over the years is when someone makes a 'closed off' person. Not shy or grumpy, but someone you need to chase and maybe even have a difficult time keeping relevant in the RP. Personally I find if I need to constantly baby another player character to be sure they are included and the player is happy, it is exhausting and sooner rather than later I burn out and the RP has to end. I always try to ask myself when buil;ding a character "Does this work better in an RP or in a book?" If the answer is book, it's time to rework things because RP is all about playing well with others. But hey, that's just me.

I mean, all other things being equal, if the race itself doesnt matter to you, generally more "mundane" species and races are easier to integrate into RP settings, so I guess it'd depend if thats what your priority is. In terms of whats more interesting, personally I find unique fantastical humanoid races more interesting than anthropomorphized animals, but, thats just me. And of course, anthropomorphized characters are pretty easy to fit into alot of settings cause they're pretty common-
