I don't think I have a character older than 7-8 years, although I haven't kept super awesome track of it.

Huh, old characters. I never really keep characters for a long time. Especially because I had horrid characters for the most part. The oldest of characters I'm actually proud of is Bender Of Iron Will, though. He's about 4 or 5 years old.
I know that feel, Highjinx. I sure do know that feel.

Yeah, you know, I've cycled through a lot of characters over the years... but Adrienn is one of too few I've kept for some reason.
I'm ooooooold, oooooooooooold *wails* T_T
My oldest character isn't on here and his name is Chris.
He was a klutz, a nerd, and a hopeless romantic. Most of the time, when I developed him the most, he was a demigod son of Apollo.
He was just so adorable xD maybe I should bring Chris back...
Anyways, he's just a baby compared to all of you- he's about 2 or 3 years old, in real time? I think then came milo and Diana and then Max who sort of evolved into nick. Nick is the only one out of my original set of oc who survived long enough to make it to rpr (and I loves him soooo much 83)
I feel like such a noob reading these posts xD

Hmmm. I think I've had Fyaara since 2006 or early 2007. My oldest character isn't on here though. Her name was Feru and she came shortly before Fyaara, but is only a few months older.
So it goes, from oldest to newest:
Feru (not on the site) 6-7 years
Fyaara 6-7 years
Lenaria Faine (not on the site anymore) 4 years
Aisling (didn't put her on the site till recently-ish)3 years
Gunellie 3 years
Luna Song 2 years
Steve Ruggles 2 years
Alex Hunter 2 years
Aeani Going on 2 years
Itha 1.5
Remember Reason 1 year
Nameless Few months
Aranel About a month
Brinly Gray A WEEK YO

Tannis is the eldest of my characters. She was once a little girl, but, I was not much older. It has been 13 years since her creation for Dungeon and Dragon campaigns, 10 years since her integration into other roleplaying forms. I believe she wandered about without a name for at least 4 years.
Tannis was thin, frail, and outright new to the great, big, sandy world that we played our campaigns in. She started as a cleric. I was the healer of the party and my role was very important. However, our fighter could not be trusted. So Tannis became half fighter and picked up a sword and shield. Eventually, the fighter does betray the party in a spectacular plot, and my poor Tannis ended up dead. To which point, her clerical powers were forfeited so that she may live again (or, I did, because I goaded the DM into letting me keep my character~). That is the point to where I transferred her into being a character that I would use for other methods of roleplaying.
Tannis's child, Shiyon, is my second eldest character in terms of creation, but I did not start to play as her until she was considered older. Perhaps 6, maybe 7 years of some-what active play.
Crow is my third oldest character and her design resembles another witch that I had adored. That was in 2009, so she is 4 years of age.

*squints at her character list* I'm still fairly sure that Draconus is my oldest character. I started with his original, wee baby ideas back in either '01 or '02, and he has changed very drastically since then. He went from a dragon-shape-shifting wizard into a disgraced-king-turned-slave-turned-paladin in the course of about a decade as my ol' writing skills evolved.
I guess next would be Lauren, made not too long after Drac'--pick one, it doesn't matter, they were the same character at one point. They've gone through countless alterations and changes over the years, which eventually lead into the split between psychic Shopkeep and psychic Trainer.
After that might be Taunter? He actually hasn't changed very much: there's a slight alteration in coloration and some vague, unnatural nature to him I haven't pinned down yet, but otherwise Taunter's Taunter just as he's always been.
I think those are the three oldest. The rest of them are fairly recent-- within the last 5-7 years--or are rehashes of much older characters I'd abandoned for a time before I dug them up and dusted them off to breathe new life into. Well, mostly-- a couple are AU's, but that's a whole other topic.

Oh, man. Out of the characters on my RPR...
I've had the Englishman since I was about fourteen. Valish was made in early 2006. Orestin's been around since... maybe 2007ish? Madame Dun and Saluda came about at much the same time, around 2008.
The rest... man, I'm not even sure. Between 2009 and now.

Who my oldest character is is a hard question to answer because many of my characters have evolved over time from earlier concepts. In that regard my very oldest concept that is today a character is Ulfa NiArtam, I put her together when I was around 12 which makes her 10 years old now, although I haven't been rping her for nearly that long.
My oldest, least changed character is my unicorn Xiana, although her character had streamlined over the years she is still pretty much the same character as when I first created her, with Anukha being my second oldest.
The rest of my characters have come about, many of them the past 3-4 years although many of those were alterations and even some fusions from older characters.

Ooh, an OC history lesson that nobody but me will care about? 8D Count me in! Most of mine aren't on RPR, though, so pictures and my random blurbs will have to suffice.
I think I have a four-way tie for my oldest-and-still-significant characters? I had plenty of others but they never stuck around or got much development past me drawing them and maybe giving them a name.
First up is my baby, the apple of my eye, the first character I ever bothered continuously developing and redesigning, even if all the early attempts were terrible: Yama! His profile is not nearly befitting all the stuff I could say about him, though. He used to be a half-demon/vampire THING who was orphaned and being raised by some kind of spirit and man am I glad I ditched that idea early on. Right around the same time I gave him a best friend, Sig.
Also around the same time, I had a series of elemental unicorns, but only one of them stuck around and turned into Thanatos, my unicorn/dragonmutt of uncertain abilities pertaining to death. This is probably the first time I drew them together, which was about 2003, and the only time they've ever gotten along? Oops. Anyway, I've had all three of these dudes since about 2003, if not earlier.
The first character I ever roleplayed, though, eventually turned out to be a certain Blake! Except back then I was new to the internet and he was really terrible and my RP partner thought I was a dude! After that, I totally forgot about ever using this character until a few years ago, when one of my best friends and I decided we needed Pokemon OCs. I revamped what little I could remember from back then, and he kinda took over from there.

I've had my oldest OC (Dragonsbane, not posted here) for nearly 15 years now….she was designed for the Transformers Generation One cartoon, and WOW was she a mess back then. I was seven, so I suppose that's to be expected, though.
She managed to stay in her origin fandom, but she's developed so much over the years that she's nowhere near the same character anymore.
