I have a feeling of loneliness ever since I was broke up with my ex-girlfriend and it feels like there’s just a void left in my chest and heart. I’ve not said anything yet because I thought I could handle it but it’s getting worse for me everyday.

Best thing to do is to find things that make you happy. Surround yourself with positive things and don't let yourself slip too far away from sanity. What are your hobbies? Pursue them! Find distractions. Just let time fly by and eventually.. Things may get easier. You will move on. It is all a part of life. If you need someone to talk to, I am here. (:
i am here if u want to talk! i think what kitty said is a good idea ! good job kitty! just focus on school , friends family or even your hobbies.

Thx I think I’ll take you up on that offer. Lately I’ve been crying out in public and I’ve been dodging people by saying it’s the air difference in the building compared to outside...

Ah yes… the kick in the guts. I remember clearly to this day that feeling when Brenda broke up with me and started dating my best friend. It was a back-stab from both of them really, but I was shattered. The quote from the old movie Casablanca sums it up well as this has been happening probably as long as there have been humans. All I can say is each day the pain fades just a little more even as the memory will always be there. I put up some defensive walls around my heart after that, and have been really careful about who I would let in past the gates.

(Ilsa stood Rick up at a Paris train station...)
Rick : [scoffs] You understand how I feel. How long was it we had, honey?
Ilsa : [on the verge of tears] I didn't count the days.
Rick : Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wow finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look on his face because his insides have been kicked out.

Yes, that whole movie sequence sums this up perfectly...

I don’t know if any of this will make you feel any better, but know that I sympathize and have been there. The hurt will heal over time.

Ooooo....

Been in this situation. It's literally THE suck.

As for the loneliness, honestly what Kitty said was great. Whenever I feel like that, I tend to try and find a distraction in order to take my mind off of the horrible feeling until I'm ready to actually face it head-on. Sometimes you just have to delay the inevitable until you're stronger.

Probably not the best advice, but... it's what works for me.
