The underworld takes over the human realm. Most species aside from that of the underworld are used as slave or are killed. The world falls apart except for few who manage. Walker is one. A human with experience from the underworld and sharing a soul with the second highest ground demon in the underworld and regularly possessed for speeches and protest, used in the beginning to convince humans that the merging of the two realms was safe but now just was there to keep things under control. Walker being so high up means his spouse and direct family are safe from outside chaos. But issues are even apparent with home life when it becomes clear that being possessed on the daily takes a toll on someone.
So basically, a romance RP just with some other stuff in the pot. If you want a quick reply and a 100% I'll notice you sooner than later, message me instead of replying. I tend to notice messages before replies but both are fine. I just might be a little later to a reply than a message.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
