Lark soon returned with the King, Queen, and a medic in tow. "Everyone, these are my parents... I will introduce you all later though..." he said as he scooted them all out the door, then shut it behind them. "Sorry about that... my parents and the medic need to look Isamu over alone."
Nick sheathed his sword again, lowering his gaze as he leaned against the wall in the shadows, blending in with his surroundings quite well.
"Nick, you may go to bed if you would like, I will stay up and wait... " he then looked at Raylmar. "I can show you to your room now if you would like."
He shook his head. "Later. I'm fine for now... I'll wait." He arched his back in a stretch, then relaxed against the wall again, crossing his arms.
Raylmar nodded slowly. "That would be fine."
Lark lead Raylmar down the hall a short ways and opened the door to another spare room. The room was set up much like Nick's. It had a large bed, dresser, and full-sized mirror. There was also a sliding door that led out onto a balcony that overlooked the castle garden.
Raylmar let out a low whistle when he checked out the room. He stepped in then turned around to face Lark. "Well, I thank you for your kindness." He said with a grin.
"And I thank you for helping my brother, it means a lot," he replied before giving him a small nod, "Sleep well." He then headed back off down the hallway and stood beside Nick.
After about a half an hour Lark was pacing back and forth around the hallway. "Whats taking them so long?"

"Probably just checking him over to make sure there aren't any other issues we overlooked. I'm sure he's fine, Lark," Nick replied softly, his eyes closed.
Lark let out a heavy sigh and leaned back against the wall, "Yeah... im sure your right... he just worries me sometimes... er... a lot actually. We have almost lost him a couple times... he doesn't seem to know how to stay out of trouble. It's almost like he goes out in search of it."
"I know the feeling. That's what my brother said about me," Nick murmured, opening his eyes and watching Lark.
Lark looked up at him, "You have a brother as well?" he asked, curious.
"Yeah. Older than me by four years," Nick told him, studying the floor. "I don't know where he is now, though. I've kinda been trying to find him for a while now..."
"I see..." Lark replied quietly. "Isamu lost his biological family when he was very young. He's not sure if they are alive though. He has two brothers that I know he misses from time to time. I can see it in his eyes."
"It's killer not knowing," he agreed darkly, shifting his shoulders against the wall.
"I can't even begin to imagine..." He replied.
After another fifteen minutes the three came out of Isamu's room. Lark straightened and stared at his parents. "Whats going on? Is he going to be okay?" He asked eagerly.
The King nodded in response to his son's question. "He will be okay... but he needs some help that we cannot give him."
"Master Isamu needs help with his inner demon. If he doesn't learn how to control it he will get to the point where he won't be able to turn back into his regular form. If we don't get him some help he will turn into his demon form and stay that way forever. That happens in his race around the age of 19 or 20... and he will be 20 in October." The medic explained.
"But... how do we get him some help? Where do we go?" Lark asked in apanic.

"October, eh? Why is this kinda crap always last minute?" Nick sighed, rubbing his eyes with a hand. "Let me know how I can help. If you need to go somewhere, I can get you just about anywhere you need to go and get you there quickly."
Lark sighed, "That gives us a month and a half exactly..."
The King nodded and looked at Nick, "Do you know where to find any hawkling? I hear they are good at keeping their demon under control. I think they would be our best bet in this situation."
Lark's eyes widened, "A hawkling!? Pardon me Father, but where on EARTH would we find one of those?"
"They exist Lark, in the high mountains in the next kingdom over."
(I have a hawkling description in my profile for Keina )

"I don't know any hawklings personally, but we can go check the mountains out," Nick suggested, already mapping the route out in his mind. "I'll need a map..."
The King nodded. "The two of you need to get your rest now. We will talk more in the mroning."
Lark sighed, "Night Mom and Dad..m rest well, Nick." He then dissapeard into his room and slammed the door shut.
