Hi miste stranger, Zofella waves and laughs, what'cha doin, Zofella gives a curious look.
"Okay Nick, would you like to lead the way?" Lark asked as he settled into the saddle. He wouldn't say it, but he was incredibly nervous about the journey that was about to take place. If they couldn't find the hawkling, his brother would be doomed.
"Sure. Just keep up," was all he said as he urged Renegade into a slightly faster pace, cataloging the area and all the landmarks in his mind.
Isamu stayed in the middle of the line. Nick could keep watch for obstacles up front while Lark could make sure that his brother didn't fall behind. Isamu was surprisingly much more calm while blindfolded. He didn't know what was going on around him... and for once, that didn't bother him one bit.
Raylmar kept up quite easily with his raven flying right by him.
Pharaoh was a very gentle horse. She carried Raylmar confidently on her back.
Moo however, started lagging behind. The chubby horse was spying on all the yummy things he could eat. Apples... yum... grass... oh yum... everything YUM! It was all YUM! Normally Moo was more under control, but this time he wandered off of the path and began eating from a berry bush.

"Here." He tossed the map back to Lark, their planned route marked with charcoal. He had originally had them pass over a river but had decided to take a detour around it instead, going over a bridge rather than cross the water itself. "Look that over, will ya? Tell me what you think. It should take the shortest amount of time, especially if we don't stop often. And Moo's wandering away, just FYI."
"GAH! Isamu, this way!" Lark called to his brother. He let out a sigh of relief when Isamu finally corrected his horse and got back in line. Lark looked over the map and nodded. "This looks like a good path. There should definitely be at least one hawkling at the top of that mountain... it's a very secluded place."
"Are there any rough parts I should know about ahead of time? Like, a place where bandits like to hang out or whatever? Just so we can be prepared when we pass through there."
"Hm, im not sure. I haven't traveled this way before... nor have I really talked with anyone who has..."
"I have been to this mountain..." Isamu replied quietly. "I know my way around it pretty well. There are many creepers and kidnappers around the base of it..."
"Cool. I'll keep that in mind."
"That is where I got captured..." A shiver went up Isamu's back as the thought crossed his mind. His body tensed and his hair got a slight tinge of black in the roots.
"Izzy, we're not gonna let you get captured again," Nick promised soothingly. "I'll die before I let that happen."
"Plus you have the extra help." Raylmar said toward Isamu.
"Thank you both... it means a lot..." Isamu thought back to the time when he had made the huge mistake of going into that creepy stranger's house. That had been one of the biggest mistakes of his life... though, he did acquire some pretty useful ice-using abilities from the event.

(Have fun! )
He shrugged. "I'm a warrior, Izzy. That's what I do."
Isamu gave him a small smile then seemed to hide back under the hood of his cloak. Right now he had no interest in talking, he merely buried himself deep within his own thoughts.
