(G'night!)
Nick grinned back at him, although he wouldn't be able to see with the blindfold on. "C'mon, lets keep moving."

The forest they were riding through was quiet. No animals could be seen except for the occasional bird or squirrel. The trees were tall with age and moss grew all around. It smelled of wet dirt and rotted leaves.
Even though Isamu couldn't see, he listened to his surroundings very closely.

Lark studied each tree and rock carefully as they rode by, watching for any signs of danger.
Raylmar was quite relaxed, despite being slightly uncomfortable on a horses back. He occasionally glanced around, but wasn't worried about anything jumping out of the trees or anything like that.
As Isamu rode along he caught wind of an unfamiliar scent. His back stiffened and he used his free hand to remove the blindfold. Isamu studied the trees closely, then motioned for everyone to be silent.
Zofella still having nothing to do than follow the young warriors around crouched down tearing off dead leaves and was actually quit for once.
Nick paused when he saw Isamu stiffen, instinctively going for the handle of his katana slowly. Whenever somebody did that it normally meant that something bad was about to happen and he liked to stay ahead of the game.
Raylmar noticed both Isamus and Nicks action, then started to look around. Maybe there was something there, just hidden, and unseen.
Zofella still tearing up dead leaves suddenly stands up and begins to look left and right, she smiles deviously.
There came a man's holler from in the forest.
Isamu jumped off of his horse and ran towards the noise. He stopped and stared at what he saw.
There was a woman in a net, the net was hanging off the side of a dock that was in a river. She fought and clawed with the ropes while two men tried to haul her up and out of the water. With an angry cry she managed to fling herself onto the dock. She tore the ropes from her body and lunged forward.
Isamu's eyes widened. It was a hawkling!
The hawkling woman grabbed the ropes and threw them over one guys head, then ninja kicked him off of the dock in one smooth move. The second man moved to jump on top of her, but she had other plans, she grabbed a thick stick and braced it against the ground. The man was impaled before he could even stop himself.
The woman threw him aside then jumped up and grabbed her staff that they had taken from her. In one movement she drove it through his neck. "Bastard, Navegte'!" She cursed the man out in a bit of hawkling language some more before collapsing to her knees.

Her voice is annoying can I drown her? Zofella crossed her arms annoyed.
Lark hurried over to where Isamu was and froze. What a beautiful creature. No wonder people paid a lot of money for their feathers. he had never seen anything like them before.
Keina noticed that she was being stared at. She stood to her feet and grabbed her staff, glaring at them. "What are YOU looking at? Never see a woman fight before?" She snapped angrily. She shook her large wings a bit, trying to dry them off. One thing Keina hated was when her wings got wet, they always felt so heavy.
Nick raised his eyebrows slightly, hopping off of Renegade and slowly approaching the hawkling, lowering his hand from his katana hilt to avoid looking like a threat. "Hey... Are you okay...? That was an impressive bit of fighting."
"Just because im a woman doesn't mean I can't defend myself," she retorted with an annoyed tone. "What are you all doing in this forest? You shouldn't be here... I suggest you all turn yourselves around and be on your way," She kept her hand grasped on her staff firmly.
Both Isamu and Lark were surprised and appalled by the hawkling's attitude. They hadn't done anything wrong... so what was she being so snarky about?
Isamu senpai can I please drown her? Zofella waves her arms up and down.
Nick shrugged, watching her carefully. "Actually, we were heading through here... Lookin' for hawklings, actually, to help our red headed buddy over there. You know if there are any up the mountain? Don't wanna waste your time, you know."
"There are none up the mountain. I am the only one for miles...." she replied. Keina flipped her spear around and began wiping the blood off of the stone blade with some moss that she had taken off of a nearby tree. "Depending on our situation, you may still be able to get some help on the top of the mountain."
