Nick opened an eye and stared at Isamu incredulously, giving him a quirky grin. "Me? In a castle? HA! I'd probably end up breaking something important and undoubtedly priceless." He flexed his shoulders in a stretch as he yawned. "Seriously. I'm already stickin' out enough as it is. If you're so insistent then sure, I'll go, but just be warned and know what you're getting yourself into."
"Oh don't worry about it, my family is very outgoing... we are not your typical royal family snobbish type." Isamu stood and rubbed his shoulder. "Okay, ready to go see the castle?" He asked with a smile.
Isamu didn't mind taking Nick to the castle, it was the least he could do. After all the other man did save his life so he did feel as though he still needed to repay him. "Im sure my brother would love to meet you. He is very kind... though he does like to pull pranks on people... especially me..."

"I'll keep my eyes open," he replied simply as he followed Isamu. "This seems like the kinda place you could get lost in, you know, it's just that big..."
"Oh yeah, our kingdom is huge. The countryside is very nice and full of gardens and hay fields. All of the farmers out there are very friendly and do whatever they can to support their families. I really admire their strength." The street was very busy today but people hurried out of Isamu's way so that the two could get by. After walking for a good 10 or 15 minutes they reached the castle.
The castle was huge, obviously. It was made out of grey stone and towered high above the ground. There was a large iron gate at the path that led to the castle, two guards were standing there. Isamu smiled and walked on past them, through the gate.
Inside the gate was a front yard of green grass and flowers. The landscaping was detailed with some rock gardens, fountains, and a statue of a prancing horse. The flags that hung all around were green and gold, the royal colors.
"Well, this is my home."

"Cool," he murmured, looking around. "It's big. Kind of an understatement, yeah..."
Isamu smiled and proceeded up the steps. Two guards that were standing there opened the doors and stepped aside. Isamu entered the castle with a smile on his face.
The first thing to be seen when going into the castle was a large hall. There were several semi-spiraling staircases with indoor balconies. Large and intricate tapestries hung from almost every wall. The carpets that ran through each hallway were a deep crimson and spotless to the very last thread. There were also many statues and vases all around.
The centerpiece in the entrance was a family portrait. The Queen had blonde and grey hair pulled into a neat bun, her eyes were green and gentle and she had a small smile on her lips. The King had brown and grey hair with brown eyes, a beard, and a relaxed expression on his face. Prince Lark was smiling next to Isamu who was holding his baby daughter.
"Thats my family," Isamu said as he pointed at the painting.
(Sorry it took me so long to reply. I was gone all day with my dad )

(That's ok)
Nick was speechless for about five minutes. He only asked one thing when he got over just how huge and highly breakable everything looked:
"Who the hell cleans all this stuff? Oh, nice family," he added once he realized why they were talking about.
Smooth, Nick, smooth.

Isamu stared at him blankly for a few moments, then chuckled. "You sure are a fun one... and well... we have quite a few maids. We treat them respectfully though. Don't worry, we don't have any slaves here." Isamu started heading down one of the halls and motioned for Nick to follow him. A few doors down he stopped.
There was an archway enchrance trimmed with gold and beautiful carvings of cheribs and lambs. Inside the room was a nursery. There were stuffed animals on shelves, some playpen type things, a crib, and changing table. There were also several maids in there as well.
These maids did not have your typical black and white uniform. Instead, they had matching dark blue dresses that fit comfortable and were an appriate length. When they saw Isamu they merely smiled and stood aside quietly.
Isamu smilled and walked over the crib. He lifted his daughter out and held her carefully in his arms. "This is Yuki, my daughter." The four month old baby blinked and stared at Nick.

"'Fun'... That's a new one," he commented as he followed Isamu. He smiled slightly when he saw Yuki, although he kept his distance- he had discovered a while back that babies didn't like him for some reason. Maybe it was the sword, maybe it was his face, he wasn't sure.
"She's a cute baby," he admitted carefully- maybe it was his voice? "Better lookin' than some babies I've seen before."

(Oh my gosh haha. Hes funny )
Isamu blinked, then smiled. "I think most babies are pretty cute... except when they're born... they are all wrinkly and screaming," he replied with a chuckle.
Yuki continued to stare at Nick. Yuki had a tendancy to stare at people for long period sof time. It could be kinda creepy... she just stare sand stares. The baby lifted her hands and wiggled them all around, cooing and babbling at Nick.

( I love nick)
"First baby I've encountered who hasn't started yelling at me. Hopefully I didn't just jinx it," he added, watching Yuki flail.

"Oh she loves people for sure," Isamu replied. "She is four months old now and growing quite quickly. Im guessing you don't have any children?" He asked. "Yuki here was a complete surprise."
He shook his head no. "Nah, I don't really have any family for that matter. My dad walked out when I was little so I can barely remember him, and my mom died a few years ago. My brother... I kinda lost him... I dunno where he went, which is kinda odd for him. I just don't have time for kids, really, and I don't have any place for them either. I'm a nomad and I don't want to be dragging a baby around on the road. Too dangerous. So no, no kids."
Isamu nodded in understanding, "Well... im actually adopted. I think my biological family is alive but im not sure. I left when I was very young... so I didn't really have much time with them in the first place. Im from quite far away..." He replied as he took Yuki back to her crib and laid her down. "I like here though. Im very thankful for the kindness of the royal family. "If it wasn't for them id probably still be on the streets."
"It's good that you found a good family. Most people never do."
"Yeah, I didn't know that a royal family could be so caring." He said as he looked up at Nick.
A loud horse whinnie came from outside as the sound of hollering followed. Prince Lark and several stable hands were chasing after a fiery horse. The horse shreiked and ran to one of the stone walls, skidding to a stop, it then made a sharp turn and bolted past it's pursuers, kicking dust and dirt through the air.
The horse was large and chestnut in color. It's long tail flowed as it ran. The animal was covered in powerful muscle that pushed it along.

"Nice horse- too bad they're freaking it out," Nick mumbled half to himself before leaving the room to go check it out. "Funny, I'm better with animals than I am with humans- you comin', your princelyness?"
"Well of course, im the trainer," he stated as he pointed at himself before following Nick. "I've never seen that horse around before, he must be new... I think maybe Lark bought him... he should have gotten to know the animal first. Poor thing is probably scared half to death."
Isamu took Nick out through a back door and out into the courtyard where Prince Lark and the horse were. The other stable hands stood aside, confused as to what they should do next to try and capture the animal.

"Hey, guys, back off will ya? Nobody likes having other people's faces in their's, not even horses. Easy, boy..." He kept his distance, waiting for the horse to calm down some.
