After a few minutes all of his hair was jet black. It started to grow a bit longer after each passing second. He stirred in his sleep, grumbling and mumbling to himself.

He couldn't take it any longer- he reached out and shook Isamu's shoulder, ready to jump back if his friend didn't appreciate the gesture. He couldn't be too sure, especially since Isamu's demon form was highly unpredictable.

Isamu hollered and sat up quickly. He looked around with an expression of terror on his face. When he noticed it was just his friends he let out a heavy sigh. "Im so sorry... I was having a nightmare..." the black in his hair crept back down to the roots and disappeared.

(Im off to bed. Goodnight guys! )

Nick flinched back as if expecting to get hit, pausing a moment before relaxing again.
"It's alright... Just saw you weren't doing well, that's all," he told him, glancing over at Raylmar. "Figured it would be best if we woke you up..."

Raylmar nodded slowly, not saying anything really.

Isamu looked at them both, "Oh, thank you... if you hadn't woken me up I could have hurt someone... or even myself." He felt a bit ashamed that he had to be watched like some newborn infant. But there had been several occasions where Isamu's night terrors got so bad that he had ended up scratching himself all over, and a servant as well.

"Glad we did somethin', then. I wasn't sure at first but I decided to take the chance." He shrugged and lay down next to Isamu, staring up at the stars.

Isamu laid back down. "I don't get sleep very often... this is the first time I have gotten a few hours of sleep... im so exhausted." Isamu folled Nick's gaze. "Do you guys think anything else is out there?"

Raylmar looked out into the forest, and shook his head. "It seems quiet out there."

"Out where? Out here in the forest, definitely. Out there?" He nodded at the sky, "I wouldn't be surprised if there was."

Isamu stared at the sky with a relaxed expression on his face. There was so much more to explore beyond their own world.

Suddenly, a feather covered staff came whistling through the air. It barely missed Nick's nose and sank into a nearby tree. Now, there was a large fox in between the staff and the tree, dead.

Nick was up and on his feet in a flash, unsheathing his sword in a whirl as he mentally cursed himself for letting his guard down. He paused, shifting his weight back on his heels as he decided it was probably Keina. If not, well, so sue him.

"I'm guessing she's back." Raylmar said with a raised eyebrow as he looked at the dead fox.

Isamu stood, his heart beating uncontrolably.

Keina strolled in, holding a few dead animals by their tails. "What are you all doing still awake?" She asked as she walked over to the fox and removed her staff. She then sat down cross-legged and began preparing the animals to be sold. "Too scared to sleep? You should be."

Lark had slept through all of this. He was snoring loudly and talking in his sleep.

"Well geez, if we were scared, I couldn't imagine why," Nick replied in a heavily laden sarcastic voice, sheathing his sword again and looking over at Lark. "Is he always like that?"

"I'm just not tired." Raylmar explained.

Isamu let out a sigh of relief and sat down. "Yeah, hes a very noisy sleeper..."

Keina glared at Nick. "Your a bit of snarky one, aren't you?" As Keina said this a wolf howled far off. She looked in the direction it had come from and shook her head.
