This time, it's a raffle where people can win bacons! As a reminder, a bacon will give someone two additional character slots.

To enter this raffle, it's pretty easy...or hard, depending on how you look at it!

I want you to share THREE positive things about yourself. I know it's hard for some to people to find good in themselves, so dig deep, show some self-love, and have a chance to win bacon!

Everyone will be assigned numbers and when the raffle closes, I'll use an online random number generator to select SIX winners.

You know Prize Potato... Your generosity helps many people who can't afford more character slots to make the characters that they wished they had room to make! Thank you for everything you do! You're so generous and all your raffles are so much fun! Also, thank you so much for sharing positivity in the community and encouraging others to practice self love!

Me:
1) I am generally rather nice, or at least I try to be.
2) I try to think about how my actions impact the world and be mindful of what that means. And I try to give credit where credit is due.
3) I am pretty darn okay at cheering people up when they are down.

I've been trying so hard to win bacons, and have been winning everything apart from them...

So I guess I'll give this a shot...

1. I'm pretty smart (or so I've been told?). I've been told that I'll pass all of my exams next year without a problem, and my ICT (computer science) teacher is allowing me to take one exam a year early (end of this year) too. My grades are all in the high 7 - 9's areas... (9 being the best).

2. I like to think I'm pretty creative. I can get inspiration from pretty much anything and everything, and turn them into pretty (what I think to be) unique ideas.

I'm running out of things here...

3. Eeeerr...I'm pretty good at singing? A lot of people seem to enjoy it when I randomly burst into song (it happens...quite a lot, actually. I make life a musical, if I'm being honest-) as well as it used to soothe both my little sister and my ex-boyfriend to sleep during his insomniac nights.

That was...harder than expected. But...now I feel alright.

• 1. I'm a genuinely caring person. I do worry about my friends when they are having a bad day and I like to check up on people if I can.
• 2. I try and make at least one person's day better with a little thing like paying forward a coffee at my espresso stand.
• 3. I'll strive to be a good friend no matter what may come.Sometimes this gets taken advantage of but I have thick skin.

I guess that is a few things that are positive about me.

1. I'm good with animals, which might just be an extension of being a (mostly) patient person. Or maybe it was the other way around and patience came through learning to train animals. But I've started multiple horses under saddle and trained two of them to drive a cart. More recently, my pupper and I earned an official 'Expert Trick Dog' title and we're rackin' up the 1st place ribbons in Agility. I'm working on the cat... but he's putting my claim to the test.
2. Green Thumb - Anyone need some tomatoes? I've got more than I know what to do with this year!!
3. Sleuthing/Data Munging - Probably because I like puzzles and digging into the nitty gritty details. I spend an awful lot of time digging through data for work and I've gotten some pretty decent database skillzzz now both in SQL and some other query languages. (like cypher, for you other data geeks!)

-Twitches a bit- Umm..Positive...Right...Let me see...

1) I do my best to help my fellow rprs with my Writing Tips thread. I've had so much positive feed back about it, and one person told me that my thread actually helped him be a better writer. Really I had no clue my work was making a difference, until people told me and also gave me kudo's for it. I'm glad to know I've helped people.

2) I'm a laid back and, least according to LakotaSiouxWarrior, I'm a down to Earth type of person. Yes I am serious, yes I have my serious moments, but I am not gonna be an @$$ about it. I rather people feel like they can come to me when needed, than to feel like they have to tip toe around me.

3) Even when I am going through things myself, I always will listen to others and what their problems are. I've let people know: Just because I got my stuff in rl going on, please don't think you can't turn to me if you need an ear. Krispy and I do that a lot to one another. She could be having a bad day, and I am always like: Talk to me. She knows what is going on in my rl, but I still show I care about her as a friend. It's a two way street not a one way.

Oh this is lovely.

1. I am very creative. I love plotting my novels and RPs and I am damn good at it. I can plot and plot for hours. Granted, not all of said plot usually sticks but I am super duper creative and full of endless stories and it makes me and other people happy

2. My hair is wicked awesome. My mullet-hawk is my favorite hairstyle ever and I never want to get rid of it. It makes me feel damn good whether I am presenting feminine, masculine or a mixture of both. I feel the most comfortable in my skin with it.

3. I have a big heart. I care about so many things and people. I love to compliment people, give them gifts, surprise them! I will go to serious levels of sneakiness to surprise someone with something that will make their day.

1. I am polite and patient.

I do not agree with swearing or rudeness and my fellow writers can take all the time in the world to get back to me whenever they feel ready. My RPs and characters will still be there waiting for them.

2. I am enduring and resilient.

3. I am inventive and resourceful.

If you would like to RP but not sure what to RP about... I will try to provide plots and if you get stuck in your RP replies and are not sure what to do or what to write next, I will try to provide a selection of ideas, scenarios, plot twists, prompts and suggestions to make it easy to keep the stories going

geez um...

1. my imagination. cause I love creating rps and my characters. the world is endless and I love that. I can always create more and give them my dreams or wishes and make what cant happen can happen. The possibilities are endless and let me have my own world in a sense.

2. animal lover. I love animals. (dogs are my fav) I love to cuddle with dogs and love different animals as I see them kinda like humans. ( though sometimes both are a pain) I love white tigers and other exotic animals. We each play our part and we all rely on something and we all need love. ( I could go on but I will leave it at that)

3. I Love learning. I like history, mythology, culture etc. ( although im a Adventist I still like to learn about other people. though picky.) I learn so much and like to learn and just learn as much as I can.

1. I care for everyone, even if you smash me to a million pieces I forgive and forget. I fell everyone deserves a second chance.

2. I love to hang with friends and make others happy even if I’m a depressed freak that need to go back to my dumpster. (Ok getting off topic....)

3. I support others with anything, whether it be supporting others when they are hurt or encouraging them that they can do whatever they feel like doing. (Except if it breaks a large law, murdering and that crap)

Three good things about myself. Thats hard...

1. Im passionate about what i love. Writing and characters and stuff.

2. I like to think Im kind. I like to think that. I think Im a nice person.

3. Im a hard worker for the most part. I do work even when i don't want to and my co workers seem to Appericiate me for it.

Ah, promoting self love! My favorite!

1.) I love that i can fall in love with my work and be content with my flaws.

2.) I love that i am resilient.

3.) I love that i try my best.

semi-uncomfy but self love is something i need to practice and this seems like a cool way to possibly get rewarded for it : o

1) I'll try and do any task enthusiastically!! (Even if my ADHD gets in the way of it). I had to fill in a thing for an ACT application and it was a bunch of menial tasks like 'would you like to pack boxes? yay/nay?' and i was like 'NICE, BOXES'
2) I'm a bit of a mess, but I'm getting it together! Slowly but surely.
3) I'm really good at using my creative prowess to make things out of near thin air & it's about the only thing I hyperfixate on I think?? Which has nothing to do with personality traits, but it's something to mention.

Very good entry fee....that said I also am not terribly fond of it on a personal level lol. Still I'm wanting to try...


1 - I find myself to be a very open minded and accepting person as far as all walks of life go. As long as it's not hurting someone else, I say let everyone be who and what they are!

2 - I'm hard working to a fault. My spouse does not always find this to be a positive trait but I personally do. I fear not the hard work in life because that's how empires are built!

3 - I'm usually a positive and supportive person towards the people around me. You wont always hear me sounding off with compliments because I have bad days and get tired too, but if I'm in a good mood I tend to just tell someone working at the truck stop I see cleaning a table off they're doing a good job!

Hmm, three positive things? I think that's easier for me nowadays!

1. I'm a very honest person. Sometimes my honesty can be brutal, I'll admit. However, I feel that it's better to tell the truth than to tell a little white lie. If someone finds out, it'll make them feel worse than if you had been honest in the first place, you know?

2. I'm very self-loving and confident in myself. I used to not be, but nowadays I'm taking better care of myself and my living arraingements. I think that's a good step forward in becoming a better person.

3. I'm creative! I love artwork, and I love drawing! I think I'm doing much better than I have been when I first started out, but I know I can get way better at it!

Bonus: I'm willing to improve! I know that I'm forever a work in progress, and the road is going to be hard for me sometimes. But I really want to become a better, happier, healthier person. Not only for my sake, but for the sake of people around me as well!

Sorry for adding an extra one, but I find this to be really good practice for evaluating yourself!

Woof. Good things. Alright, I can get on board with this. Let's see...

1. I like to think I've got a lot of patience. Like, a lot of patience. Patience for people. Patience with my kids. Patience with my rp partners. Patience with my customers.

2. I've got a cool head. It takes quite a bit to get me angry or upset. There are certain things that will set me off, same as any person. Everybody has their buttons. But I like to think that for the most part I can keep a cool head in most situations. Now, I may not know how to deal with those situations, calm or not, but at least I'm not freaking out about it.

3. Empathy. I've got a lot of it. Too much sometimes probably, but it means I definitely try to live by the Golden Rule. Kindness and thoughtfulness really can go a long way.

I'm willing to give it a try.

1. I wouldn't call myself creative person but from time to time I like listening to my thoughts, which happens quite often but when you sort all the thoughts and find that one or come to an answer, it brings a satisfaction, so I guess it's kinda creative.
   
2. I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to something I set my mind on, considering that happens rarely as I'm not someone who likes to put effort in things that don't interest me, when it comes to the my lifecode, I'm willing to follow it even if it makes me ostracised or not popular.
   
3. I'm quite enduring, even if most of my life I lived ignorant about state of my family, the effort it takes to pull yourself together is trendomous or at least that's what I heard. I had unfair advantage tho which is shutting of my emotions and thoughts, the latter comes easier than former, since it's my natural state where nothing penetrate my mind unless I will it.
   

I’ll do anything for bacon, I guess.
1) When there is something I care about, I am devoted. I’ll take the time to know all of it, I’ll give it my utmost diligence and attention, nothing is spared for what I love.
2) I’m determined. Even when I wanted to give up in my darkest times, I eventually rise and come back to the playing field because I just can’t seem to quit. I’m hanging on here, one day I’ll make it and it’ll mean all the struggle was worth it.
3) I always want to do better. I don’t like doing a half-assed job and my personal philosophies are mostly about improving yourself because from that, there can only be good.

Everyone's doing such a great job! And it's making me happy to see people finding positive things about themselves and sharing it publicly. Long answers, short answers, it doesn't matter. And never apologize for sharing more than three if you're feeling it.

Thank you for hosting this, Somnom! I'm a huge bacon lover, and this is absolutely amazing.

1. I love that I've grown a lot in the last few years. I've dealt with a lot of hurtful people, people who had no intentions of hurting me, and people who never seemed to actually care that their actions weren't the best. It's been a hard journey, and while it's made me less open to a lot of those people I used to be close to, and used to think I had a good connection with, it's brought me closer to some who are far better for me than others have been and I've learned that it's something that I can work through and that I shouldn't trust people as easily as I have, but the ones that work hard towards gaining my friendship are far more worthwhile than others. It's taught me how to protect myself and I'm glad for it.

2. I love my writing, though not everything about it. I love how I develop characters and build their stories based around dialogue and interactions with others rather than force out single story solo journeys.

3. I'm really proud of the work I've put in to my husband's world, and the community we've developed. There's a lot going on, huge changes are coming, and I'm even at the helm for some big ones and it feels amazing. It's reminded me of how strong and creative I can be as a writer, and it feels amazing to have the support of the community we've nurtured and that of my husband's as well.

Overall I'm just really proud of myself and the changes I've made in the last few years to better myself, my self love, and my self-care among my friends and family. I've had to take a lot of losses along the way, but it's been worth the struggle.
