Kurai ran quickly through the forest as her older sister came after to her, both females in their tiger forms. She kept running, dodging every attack her sister launched at the young girl. To those who saw, it seemed as though two tigers were fighting an unfair fight, one young red and black tiger that was smaller than the older and larger than the bright orange one. The younger one's back paw got caught on a uprooted tear root, tumbling on the ground, only to stop when she hit a larder oak tree, slightly daze. She looked behind her to see her sister closing in on her, but as she stood, she feel back to the ground as the shock of the impact of the tree still in them as the tiger whimper.

Was it fate that brought Griffon Pardoner into this same woods? Maybe, but whatever the case, he was there to hear a crash and see the shaking of a tree as he picked his way across the sea of fallen leaves. It was simple curiosity that caused the story teller to drift over to the tree and peer around its edges.

Kurai shook her head from the impact and looked up at see a man that she could see the curiosity in his eyes. She quickly got to her feet but they were still shaken from the shock. She looked back to see her sister coming and took off only to fall again.

His intrigued Griffon, for tigers were not native to this area. Not knowing what exactly was goin on, Griffon waited and watched, thick trees giving him cover.

Kurai's sister took the opportunity and pounced on her sister. "I finally got you, you little piece of garbage." She growled as the smaller tiger struggled under the larger one.

Wait... Tigers can't talk... These must be were tigers! Griffon new then that this was a serious matter and stepped out of his spot, clearing his throat at the two tigers. He wasn't scared of them, he'd been through much much worst.

Both tigers looked at him. They weren't were tigers, or anything like that. Kurai was half tiger demon, allowing her tiger from and human from while her sister was full tiger, she had been given the ability to speak.

This, of course, wasn't known to Griffon, so he assumed what he did. He looked at the tigers for a second. "Would one of you mind telling me what it is that I have just stumbled upon?"

The older sister grinned. "Simply taking out some trash. She is not needed in this world and has no meaning so she most be gone." Kurai tried to wiggle out from under her sister's large paw, only earning herself a growl.

Griffon stretched, "even the trash goes somewhere though." He was now in the open, not near the trees anymore. "I'm actually rather surprised by your honesty."

"This is none of your business, human!" Her sister snapped at him, clearly annoyed with him about his pestering in this matter. "She is a half demon that deserves death!"

"I've met a demon once, used me as an anti-aging potion for her maid. Wasn't fun." Griffon help up a hand, there was a long scar across the palm. "I've never met a half demon though, but you don't seem any better."

"Ha! The best out of the three tiger daughters of the great tiger demon. There are seven sisters, the three tigers, the three humans, and the baby, the halfing demon." She said in disgust toward her younger sister.

Griffon just shrugged, playing with a nearby leaf, changing its colors where he touched it. "I don't really like your tone. Would you mind changing it?"

The tiger glared at him. "Who do you think you are? What goes on between me and her is our business, you have no right to intervene."

He smiled at her. "But you're talking to me right now, and the tone you are taking is towards me. Why don't you get lost? Huh?" His voice was mockingly cheerful. The last color his fingers turned the small leaf was blood red as he let go of it, leaving the color to stay there. A clever being would have realised that the color he left was a warning. However, most people would not have gotten it.

The tiger growled at him but got off the smaller tiger. Kurai quickly ran behind the man, still shaking from how close she was to death with her sister. "T-Thank you." She said as her sister ran off to who knows where.

"Of course, my lady." Griffon did a slight bow. His right arm went infront and his left arm went behind him, a semi proper bow it was. In reality he had placed his right hand right next to where his cutlass was, in case the tiger decided to attack.

Kurai came out from behind him then shifted into her human from. "You saved my life, sir. My sister would have killed me if you hadn't come in time." She said. She was truly grateful to him for keeping her sister from killing her.

Griffon shrugged, "all in a day's adventure. Now where to I return you safely?"
