It's my favorite time of year again, that creepy and scary time when Halloween approaches. I'd like to get some disturbing threads going, and I'd like to use a Shadowfiend that I have. She is an original species, which seems to deter a lot of people. But she can fit in just about any different setting, provided it allows for the supernatural. I've revamped her a bit recently.
Most of her powers are concentrated in possession, but she can move medium sized objects with her mind, create simple illusions and "haunting" effects. She's a creature of darkness, and doesn't like the light. She feeds on feelings of sadness, grief, misery, anguish, etc. Something like a dementor, but the emotions are to her like the rays of sun are to a plant, rather than her actively harming the host.
Is there someone your character might like revenge against, even if it's an NPC? Maybe your character is trying to summon something, and ends up netting Maeror. Or they could come across a bracelet that ends up being the object that allows Maeror to take on a physical form when she is in this plane of existence, she would be drawn to it when she crossed over. Maybe Mearor targets your character, possessing them so she can initiate schemes to cause misery among mortals. Or she could manipulate an NPC. I'm up for discussing boundaries as far as just how far possession goes.
I'm up for roleplaying here or on Discord, I usually average three paragraphs. It's difficult for me to work with less than a paragraph. My posts are in past tense, third person. If you make some mistakes in post with grammar once in a while it's fine, but if I have to translate your writing I'm gonna lose my muse quickly. I'm very laid back, and fine with mature themes in roleplay even if I don't do smut. I'm cool with dice use in rp. If you have your own idea, let me hear it. Respond here or message me, I don't mind.
