Heya.
Albeit my character is open to a whole range of different genres, he was originally made for the "SCP" universe. More specifically, the "Broken Masquerade" canon; a universe where the SCP foundation becomes public, and the anomalous becomes common place in society.
My character (which we will call "trust" for convenience) belongs to a specialist division of the "Global Occult Coalition", more specifically, the termination of high threat level entities through the use of anomalous objects and/or entities.
"Trust" is the leader of the group called "The scraps" -- a gang of anomalous individuals, which have become honorary coalition infantrymen due to having their abilities voluntarily sedated (to various degrees depending on the anomalous properties they possess) and/or have been hand picked by Trust himself. This particular division of the GOC focuses on discreetly "taking care of" level 4 or above threat entities that have become publicly accepted, but are still a severe threat to society due to either deviant usage of their abilities, or for just being too powerful in general.
The scraps still take on general PHYSICS division deployments as reserves -- but regardless, are only used for higher level threats due to them being seen as "expendable" by the GOC.
In the general canon(s) of the SCP Foundation, the GOC is a government recognised and funded operation, while the SCP Foundation are a separate entity alienated from any lawful forces of the world, which leads to Groups of Interest being particularly sceptical of them for their anonymity, and their freedom from societal conformity -- including basic ethics.
In the Broken Masquerade universe, the GOC is just as recognised as the foundation, but is overshadowed by it; and forced into the darkness just as the foundation had been so long ago. This further drapes and validates their extermination of anomalous individuals and/or artefacts; which helps divisions like "The Scraps" thrive --
It also gives Trust a little more legroom for his catastrophic plan.
NOTE: "Trust" as a character is heavily limited on his character page, and will be built upon in the future. He's got a bit of meat to his story, so don't expect to have the full scoop on who (or what) he really is yet. If you have questions for the sake of the roleplay, feel free to ask. If we plan to set an rp within the SCP universe - I would recommend you look up the GOC "group of interest" hub on the SCP Foundation website, as I will be referring to a lot of its content, and a few scp/threat entity articles throughout Trust's usage, and the stories told.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
