What RPers in those LF Forums mean by this?

They mean that someone simply stops replying to an RP. Abandoning it without telling their partner that they wish to stop the story.

Oy vey. I see what you mean now. That actually happened to me before but I reached out to the girl and we left in good terms.

Well it also happened to me the second time and this person was just ignoring me, not bothering to answer my DMs.

I wish people would be more direct and just say that they don't want to RP anymore, you know. I'd rather get a curse word from them rather than them staying silent and ignoring me.

Yeah it happens. I've gotten used to the 'here today, gone tomorrow' approach that seems to be prevalent on this site. I awoke today to find a couple more names/accounts lined out. It bugged me the first couple times it happened but I just shrug it off now.

Ah I see. Guess they couldn't wait huh? Or couldn't find an RP?

Or life takes priority over this RP hobby. I get it. If things ever get to a point where I won’t be able to dedicate time to RPR and the relationships I have here, I’ll abandon my account and preserve my character creations rather than destroying them. It also leaves my account with my details so anyone who gives a damn has a way to contact me.

I highly recommend reading this post. Ghosting has been talked about thousands of times.
