Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth nodded slightly and yawned tiredly as he laid down in the grass. He didn't accept the cloak, muttering,"Keep it. I'm not cold."before he drifted into a light sleep. He listened to the noises around them, shifting as he heard howling again and pulled his swords closer just for the feeling of safety even though Aaron provided plenty.

He woke up just before the sun began to rise and rubbed his eyes, looking around. Once they landed on Aaron he gave him a small smile and fixed his messy hair,"Good morning..."he said quietly and slowly stood, stretching his arms, so much that he was on his tiptoes. He let out a groan at the feeling and sighed once he stopped. He always enjoyed a good stretch in the morning.

Aaron rubbed his eyes, yawning as he stood, stumbling a little. Soon try would be a bit safer in the woods, but if they had to run, he wouldn't make it very far. He was getting pretty exhausted after staying up for at least 43 hours straight. He wasn't going to make Ahdeth stop for him though, he knew they couldn't stop. Picking up the cloak he threw it over to Ahdeth. "I believe this is yours." He said flatly. Running a hand through his hair he looked around the large expanse of field they still had yet to cover and groaned. "It's so far," he mumbled and sighed,"We best get started." Picking up their money he looked over to his partner before kicking dirt over what used to be the fire and began their journey again.

They had only covered half of the distance they needed to though when more he was beginning to feel dizzy. It wasn't bad, and it didn't show, but it wasn't enjoyable. Not to mention the pounding in his head. But wait, Ahdeth seemed to be hearing that too. He looked at his partner, confused as the pounding got louder. He soon learned that it wasn't in his head. It was the thundering sound of something running, and fast.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth snapped his head up and looked around as he heard the loud thundering footsteps. He continued to walk, looking around until he saw them. Huge dire wolves were running straight at them, at full speed,"Crap crap crap..."he drew his swords and handed them to Aaron than pulled him onto his back. He began to sprint at full speed the opposite direction and closed his eyes,"Hold em off..."he mumbled before he began to concentrate,"Please work."he whispered.

The wolves were almost literally on top of them until the pack just suddenly disappeared. Ahdeth turned and his legs gave out, vision blurring quickly as he passed out.

Aaron quickly caught Ahdeth, falling to his knees trying to quickly hold him up. He mumbled a string of curses under his breath before hauling the other onto his back. Through the rest of the day and into the the rest of the night, Aaron carried Ahdeth, stumbling through the woods. If they stopped, they could get caught again. He couldn't have Ahdeth getting caught in a vulnerable state like this. Wherever he had sent them though, they weren't far behind. He could still hear the frustrated howls a yells. By the third sunrise, Aaron was starting to get worried. Had Ahdeth over exhausted himself? It had been an entire pack. Two people had worn him out pretty good, but the whole pack.

By midday he had made it to the gate of the city, his partner still slung over his shoulder. The dwarves instantly let them in, seeing the condition of the two. Aaron got them a room and lay the other down on the bed, he himself passing out quickly, his arm still trapped around his partners waist.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth jolted awake in the middle of the night and looked around with wide eyes,"W-where...."he gripped onto whatever was near him and blinked as he felt skin. He slowly looked down and relaxed as he saw messy brown hair. He held him tightly, mumbling a soft thank you before he gently unclasped his arms from around his waist. He pulled the blanket over him and looked around the dark room. He lit a candle that sat on a sat table then sat down himself. He began to slowly crack his stiff body and let out a groan as he felt a sting in his side. He pulled the shirt up and blinked as he noticed there was no wound.

He decided to just ignore the pain and grabbed a few gold coins. Since Aaron did so much for him he wanted to make up for his risky decision. He went out and looked for anyone vendors who were open though it was the middle of the night. He was lucky enough to get an assortments of meat and herbs he could cook. He gladly returned the room and began to cook.

Aaron shifted in his sleep, the smell of the cooking food making its way to his nose. "Hmm, Emma why are you cooking-" he turned on his side, his eyes slowly opening. Soon, he realized it was Ahdeth and that this was years later in a rented room. He looked at his partner questioningly, "Is it really necessary to cook in the middle of the night?" He growled, still feeling exhausted and rather grimy. It wasn't until he took a look out the window to see light streaming in that he noticed it was in fact daytime.

"How long have you been up?" He asked, trying to rub the sleep from his eyes, but failing and simply sitting back again. He groaned at his sore back, shifting his position to try and get comfortable. Still being as tired as he was, he was almost barely conscious when Ahdeth responded to him and basically just ignored him. He never understood early risers, being one that never wanted to get out of bed. He shimmied back into bed, throwing the covers back over his head, allowing the sweet smells of cooking to encompass him.

"A few hours."he responded simply as he moved the food around on the skillet, watching the meat with attentive eyes,"I thought...you might enjoy this."he shrugged,"Since you saved me when you yourself was exhausted...so uh...thanks..."he mumbled and flipped the meat. He grabbed a nice and cut of a small sliver from the meat,"How do you like it cooked? It's currently medium rare."he asked and looked at him then frowned. He turned the stove top down and set the spatula down, walking over to his partner,"Aaron...do you want to take another day and rest."he asked softly, arms crossed as he loved at the pile of blankets before him.

He let out a sigh and opened the window, blinking a few times as the sun streamed in. He stood there for a moment, gazing out at the already busy dwarven city as the afternoon arrived. He walked back over the stove and continued to tend to the meat.

He groaned as the sunlight filled up the rather small room. He was never a morning person, or in this case, afternoon. It didn't really matter what time of day it was, he just didn't like waking up. Throwing the blanket off himself he glared at Ahdeth but sighed when he wasn't looking back. "I'll just take the meat as is. What kind is it?" he asked softly, slowly trying to bring himself to stand. Swinging his legs over the side of the bed he looked up at his partner,"I could really use that massage I talked about earlier." he chuckled dryly as he desperately tried to crack his back and neck.

"I could also use a bath..." he mumbled, wrinkling his nose at the smell of his own clothing. He quickly stripped down to his underwear, never having been this far away from a clean river to wash himself in. He always hated being dirty, it made him uncomfortable in his own skin.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth turned the stove off and put the meat onto a plate, setting it on a small table across from the bed,"Beef."he said and looked over at Aaron as he tried to crack his back,"Yes, if you want I can..."he blinked as he took his clothes off and turned his head to look away,"I do know of a river near the outside of the city we could go to."he said and pulled his shirt up, taking a sniff and regretting i,"Yeah...I need one too."he said in self-disgust and pulled his shirt off, dropping it to the floor,"Eat then we can head out..."he said as he cracked his knuckles.

"Good, we're going to need it." he got himself to stand, half limping over to the table where a nicely prepared plate of food was waiting for him. "Thanks." he said softly, a small smile on his face as he looked over at Ahdeth. Tentitavly, he took a bite, not sure how it was going to taste. It turned out to be almost perfectly seasoned and melt in your mouth delicious. He could feel his stomach tightening, having not eaten anything in a couple of days. It only took a minute or so for him to clear the plate and he still felt hungry even after seconds. "This is so good.." he moaned, digging into thirds.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth couldn't help but laugh as he watched him devour the meat. He was glad he made a good choice with the seasonings and meat since he seemed to enjoy it. Leith grabbed Aaron's clothes that lay on the floor and picked up his own shirt as well,"I'll clean these while we bathe..."he mumbled to himself and grabbed his bah that had been lazily tossed into a corner. He grabbed whatever other clothes were ridiculously dirty and decided to take them along with them as well. He looked to Aaron as he finished his third helping and smiled a bit,"I have more if your still hungry."

He had to stop himself at three and push the plate away. "So," he mumbled through a mouthfull,"where is this river you spoke of?" he was going to have to put his pants back on if it was too far away. But maybe Ahdeth could transport them? No, Aaron banished the thought right away, he didn't want to exhaust him again. He threw on his pants, grabbing one of the towels and throwing it in the bag Ahdeth always carried. Maybe while they were out he could get his own shirt instead of having to continuously squeeze into Ahdeths tight clothing. He leaned in the doorway,"Ready?"
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth nodded and threw his bag over his shoulder. He paused briefly as he reached for his swords but took them anyway. It was always good to be safe, especially when orcs are out for your head. He walked out of the small motel and looked around the busy streets,"We can get there from a path behind this hotel. I found it before you woke up and it led to a lake. How lucky."he chuckled and turned off into a small alley right next to the motel.

It was only about a 15 minute walked and there was no one to be seen near the thin river. Ahdeth dropped his swords and bag near a tree and began to strip off his pants. He disliked being so dirty but in there situation it couldn't be helped.

Aaron whistled when Ahdeth got down to his underwear. It was just to tease him, of course as they both got completely naked except for the necklace he always wore. He quickly dived into the water, coming up for air with gasp. The water was warm and as clear as it possibly could be. "Come on," he yelled to his partner who was still just standing there with a wary expression. He just shrugged after a second and went back under the water, feeling the dirt washing away. He jumped when something touched him grabbing it and almost throwing it under the water to drown whatever it was. It wasn't until he was above the surface that he realized he had attacked Ahdeth and that there really was no threat. "Don't scare me like that." he breathed, putting a hand on his partners shoulder to keep himself afloat as he tried to calm himself down.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth slipped into the water once he felt it was safe enough and let out a sigh, enjoying the surprising warmth of the water. He accidentally bumped into Aaron and let out a gasp as he was suddenly almost shoved down into the water. He looked at him with wide eyes and stood slowly,"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there."he placed a hand on his chest, feeling his heart still racing from the sudden surprise. Once he felt himself calm he dove under the water and popped out,"God...it is really nice..."he smiled and kept his body under the water, letting the current wash off all the dirt and sweat from the previous attack. He reached a hand up and felt his earlobe for a small earring, sighing in relief that it was still on.

Aaron nodded in agreement, a smiled forming on his lips. He floated on his back, enjoying the warm water soothing his sore muscles. After a minute he could feel a weak current pulling him. It peaked his curiosity and by following it he found a small river that looked like it made its way out of the city. "Hey," he called back to his partner,"you think this makes it's way to a waterfall?" he asked, his smile turning into a michevious grin. "I think we should check it out."

He didn't even listen long enough to hear Ahdeth answer before he began swimming with the gentle current. The river itself wasn't very wide, but it certainly was long. Eventually he made his way into another part of the forest and sure enough the current started picking up and he could hear the sound of rushing water. "Come on." he said excitedly swimming just a little faster.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth let out a drawn sigh as his partner excitedly swam with the current. He stood there for a moment before he cursed and began to swim after him,"Fine...but let's not take too long. All of our money is in that bag."he said worriedly and looked around as they entered a thicker part of the forest. He swam a bit faster as the current picked up, staying next to Aaron as they swam.

The forest continued to become denser as they went deeper in. Soon the river began to widen and the current continued to speed up,"Aaron...if...there is a waterfall...maybe we shouldn't be in the water."he looked around, making sure there was something he could grab onto just in case his instincts were right.

"Would you quit worrying, it'll be fine. Falling down a waterfall isn't as bad as it sounds, and it can only kill you if there or jagged rocks at the bottom." It was clear by the glare that that hadn't put his partners mind at ease. Aaron just sighed and swam to the side,"Fine, lets get out and take a look then." He quickly pulled himself out of the water and onto the grass. He grumbled, not really wanting to take a look. He was always one for the threat of danger and guessing wether it was dangerous or not. The waterfall was huge, but a big enough drop that would have killed the both of them on the rocks that had in fact been at the bottom. It didn't seem to faze Aaron though,"I say we jump anyway." He announced, nudging his partner slightly.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth let out a growl as he stared at the rocks that jutted out from the bottom of the waterfall,"I'm not risking my life for something like that."he crossed his arms and looked to Aaron,"You're not seriously going to do it are you?!"he asked worriedly and lightly touched his arm though quickly pulled his hand away and looked back over at the waterfall anxiously. If Aaron did decide to jump he wouldn't hesitate to save him by using the teleport ability but it required concentration and a bit more time then the situation would allow,"I hate to ruin the fun but unless you have incredible luck you won't live and I won't be able to save you."he admitted, feeling anxious. He didn't want to lose a friend because of a waterfall but maybe he was being to serious.

"Why you nervous?" The question was immediately answered by the look on his face. He looked back at his partner and shrugged,"Yea, there's a fourth five percent chance I'll live and hey, I've got nothing to lose." He looked over the side again, there were a few pockets of clear space that he could land in and still be able to walk out unscathed. The only problem being that they were pretty exactly points. He felt a ghost of a touch on his arm that soon faded away. He looked back at Ahdeth. "What, you want to give me a goodbye kiss." He teased, but the smirk quickly faded when his partner was clearly not joking,"Look, I know what I'm doing," that was a lie if he ever heard one,"and if you're that scared for me, then why don't you come along for the ride?"
