Ahdeth's shoulders slumped in defeat and walked closer to the waterfall. He looked down at the sharp rocks and was able to pin point a few areas they could safely land in. He also noticed a vine that hung nearby and though it looked fun he didn't feel like swinging naked on a vine into a waterfall. He turned to Aaron,"Fine i'll come along. Don't get yourself impaled."he challenged with a smirk and got in position for the jump. He felt confident he would be fine but he still worried about Aaron. He knew little of his physical capabilities but he trusted him enough not to be too stupid. He let out a sigh as he looked down at the sharp jagged rocks he was prepared to jump into.

Aaron just chuckled,"I don't think it's me you should be worried about." He got into a prime position, spotting his target and prepared to make it there. He wasn't too confident, it was mostly just the adrenaline that convinced him to want to jump, the curiosity of what happens next. Without a second thought he shot himself forward, just missing the rocks by less than an inch. He landed in the pool directly below the waterfall. The current though, had been much stronger than he thought and it pulled him through the maze of sharp rocks, only allowing him to breathe for a second before having him hit his head and go under. By the time the current had calmed, he was already downriver with a cut on his forehead and a pounding headache. He crawled out of the water, spitting up the liquid and gasping for air before he collapsed onto the ground. The smile reformed on his face and though none could hear him, he laughed out loud. But his joy was soon replaced by fear when he noticed Ahdeth wasn't behind him. He had lost track of his partner; he could be all the way down river, or he could still be at the waterfall. He frantically called his name, hoping to get a response soon.

Ahdeth hesitated as he prepared to jump after his partner. He took a deep breath and hurled himself off the cliff. He hit the water hard and luckily he had only gotten a scratch on his calf. He popped from the water gasping for air and before he could react his head smashed into the side of a large rock. He felt his body go limp and the current violently pulled him through the water. Ahdeth watched in annoyance as he sank under the water. If he lived he was so going to kill Aaron, even though it was his own choice to jump.

There was no way Ahdeth could have gone farther downriver, he would have noticed if so. Moving through the trees, he found the waterfall again, hoping to see Ahdeth sitting there waiting for him, but that certainly wasn't what happened. He only came to an empty clearing with no one above or below the waterfall. He swallowed, fear ripping its way through him. He couldn't lose someone else, not because of himself, not again. Frantically, he searched around, it's not like Ahdeth to just wander off and leave him, so where-the realization hit him like a boulder a knocked the air right out of his lungs. Maybe there was a chance? He climbed onto a rock looking down into the dark water, it would take a miracle, and he hasn't been very lucky in the past. Maybe though, just maybe. He dove in again, clawing his way through the darkness, trying to find any touch of skin or any hint of humanity. He had to come up for breath at least four time before he saw a glint of metal through the murk. It turned out that it was the earring Ahdeth always wore and his heart skipped a beat.

'Please don't be dead.' He begged as he pulled his partner to the surface, dragging him onto the grass. He looked down at Ahdeth, so pale and fragile, he was completely out of it. He wasn't breathing but he still had a faint pulse, that being the only sign of life from him. He knew what he had to do, and even though it repulsed him a bit, he was willing to do it to save a friend. Swallowing his pride he gently opened the others mouth and put his on top. He tried his best, breathing into his partners mouth and pushing gently on his chest, cursing every so often when he just wouldn't wake up.

In a way, it was interesting being dead. He could feel his heart stopping, any attempts at bringing himself to the surface dying down as his body gave out. But it was unlike himself to give up and all he felt was pure rage. Rage from his idiotic decision to jump off a waterfall when he knew there was a chance he would die! Rage for following his friend! And now rage for dying.

Ahdeth gasped and sat up quickly, coughing up all the water in his lungs as he suffocated. He looked around quickly and stopped as they landed on Aaron. He tried to say something but instead coughed up more water,"N-nngh...god dam-"he choked out and panted heavily, landing back in the sane, adrenaline pumping through him,"I-I am...never...doing that...a-again..."he managed.

Aaron jumped back when Ahdeth suddenly started choking up water. He sighed in relief and have him a wide grin,"Well good morning to you too princess, it seems I have awoken you with true loves kiss." He teased, just happy that his friend was alive and was going to be okay. He batted his eyelashes at him which only earned him the best glare the other could muster. His expression softened,"In all seriousness though, you scared the hell out of me." He looked Ahdeth in the eye,"Plus you taste bad so you owe me." The initial fear had died down by that point, but he just couldn't help the internal feeling of guilt clawing its way into the pit of his stomach. He would show it on his face, but he had been terrified of having been responsible for his friends death. He didn't think he would be able to take having to bury him.

Ahdeth gave him a glare of pure rage,"Call me princess one more time and your going to drown."he growled and slowly stood up, using a nearby tree to support his weak body. His body must hate him right now,"Sorry I didn't chew on mint before I jumped into a waterfall."he said jokingly. His barrier completely down, pure emotions just everywhere. He took a moment to cough out any remaining water and looked towards the direction they had swam from,"Let's head back. I can only stand being naked in front of someone for so long."he said, annoyance obvious in his voice as he began to walk, ignoring any help from Aaron though he did pause to say this when he remembered the expression of guilt on his partners face,"It was my choice. So don't feel guilty."he smiled and reached a hand up to grip his head.

He laughed,"Of course, what were you thinking, everyone knows that's what you do before you jump. You never know who might have to save you." He winked before standing up and watching Ahdeth help himself up. "But why? You're beautiful princess. A bit lacking in the chest area, but I can wait." He said mockingly yet again. He knew that it was an empty threat, and Aaron was going to call him whatever he felt like it. He stopped though when Ahdeth turned on him and told him not to feel guilty. It certainly didn't help though because it wouldn't have been his choice if Aaron hasn't pushed him into it. Whatever his partner said, it wasn't going to change anything. Thinking about what ifs wasn't going to change anything either though so he simply dropped the subject and followed closely behind Ahdeth.

"Then you're going have to wait for a while. I don't plan on changing gender anytime soon..."he paused as he thought about it,"Although...technically that would be...never mind."he mumbled. He liked being a man, even if Aaron or whomever preferred it differently which is a bit insulting. He stopped thinking about it as soon as he remembered the throbbing pain in his head from the collision with the rock,causing him to hit his shoulder into a tree. He took a moment to sit down, taking a deep breath before he stood again and kept walking. He again denied any help because Aaron seemed to have thing for only women so touching would be awkward for Ahdeth, not that he has any feelings for him. At least not after what just happened. Huge turn off.

"Don't want you to, you're feminine enough as it is." He ran a hand through his hair, expecting to get a punch in the gut, but actually only got an eye roll. When Ahdeth sat down Aaron tried to offer to help, but his partner only refused again. "Look, Is it something I said, or do I really smell that bad because you're definitely avoiding my help and it's not good for you." He too had a bad headache, but he was used to ignoring pain, so it didn't bother him as much as it seemed to affect Ahdeth. He overheard Ahdeths mumbling to himself,"I didn't mean you had to change genders, that's impossible anyways. Besides, if you wanted to have sex with me, all you had to do was ask. I mean I didn't know I you wanted it bad enough to change you're gender but..." He trailed off and was soon surprised to find himself on his back on the ground, his back stinging from the impact. "You I never really thought you to be the dominant type, but if that's what you're into." He smirked and got back up with a groan. Damn, Ahdeth had some real upper body strength if he could flip Aaron so easily.

He dusted off his hands once Aaron was on his back and turned, continuing to walk,"I'm not desperate for sex, nor desperate to change my gender. I'm a clone, a clone of one of the greatest rogue in the land. And because of that fact he could make me into anything. That's all I was thinking about."he stated and ignored any pain from his leg and head. He was silent the rest of the walk.

Once they got back to their stuff Ahdeth pulled on the least dirty clothes he had,"Clean the rest while i'm gone. You need proper clothing. I'll leave a sword with you just to be safe."he grabbed on of the swords and slipped it into his belt. He then left with out another word.

"Could've fooled me." He mumbled loud enough for him to hear. He decided to lay off though, the topic seeming a bit sensitive for some reason. When they finally got back to the lake it was late in the afternoon. He put the sword on the ground and looked at the pile of clothes to clean,"Do I look like a housewife?" He asked, but Ahdeth was already out of earshot. He grumbled o himself before starting to wash as the sun began to set. He washed his pants first, letting them dry before putting them on and finishing the rest. By the time he was done, it was early nighttime and just getting dark enough for him not to be able to see. He swallowed thickly, getting a bit nervous as the noises of the night made there way to his ears. When he finished, he grabbed all of the clothes and the sword, but realized he had no idea how to get back. He didn't know where the path was. Thankfully lights were coming from the dwarven city and it helped him find at least the right direction. It didn't take him long to find the motel after that and he breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't know if he could defend himself out there, Ahdeth was the killer, not him.

It was annoyingly hard to find clothes that would fit someone with a build like Aaron's considering they were in a dwarven city. Dwarves are half the human height so most vendors sell only to dwarves. He had to haggle with a seamstress just to get her to lengthen the pants he had found. He sat there for hours, shifting through clothes as he waited for her to lengthen a few pairs of pants he though Aaron might enjoy. He couldn't help but worry if Aaron had had any trouble while waiting for him but he just hoped he was smart enough to head back to the inn. Eventually he got the clothes, he even bought a new shirt for himself since his were so ragged and worn.

It took him only half an hour to come back to the inn and his head still felt like it had taken an axe to it. He walked into their room,"Sorry it took so long. Dwarves are so stubborn."he said, relieved to see he was actually talking to Aaron and not an empty room.

Aaron had come to find an empty room, but tried to keep himself from panicking. He took a book out from one of the drawers. It had just been sitting there, Aaron noticed, and he thought it would be a good way to pass the time. The sorry hadn't really caught his attention, but he still jumped when the door opened. To his relief it was Ahdeth rather than an Orc or one of their wolves. "It's alright, at least I have something to wear now instead of freezing every night." He put the book back on the dresser and got up from their one bed. He took his own pile of clothes and easily picked out a fresh tunic and some pants to sleep in. They fit well, a bit big, but big was better than too small.

He lay himself back on the bed, feeling clean and refreshed,"Thanks princess." He said before curling up beneath the blankets,"Oh and I folded you're clothes as well, they're sitting over there."

Leith nodded slightly and changed into the clean clothing, letting out a soft sigh at the smell of clean clothes. He sat down on a chair by the window and picked up the book Aaron seemed to have been reading. He read the cover and couldn't help but smile,"This is one of my favorites..."he mumbled and brought his legs up, resting them on the windowsill. He flipped back to the beginning and turned the small lantern on as he began to read the story for the hundredth time.

He spent the night reading, allowing Aaron to get plenty of rest as he felt captured by the deep story. Unfortunately the pain from his head and leg was enough to make him pass out from exhaustion. The book fell to the floor with a thud and he himself went limp.

The thud was enough to wake him and cause him to jolt upright. He only smiled though when he found it was Ahdeth, who was still sitting in the chair except now completely unconscious. Or at least that's what it looked like, Aaron didn't really know how deep of a sleeper his partner was. He only hoped he was a pretty deep sleeper because he didn't want the other waking up as he made his way across the room. He scooped his partner out of the chair and held him close to his chest as he walked over and lay him on the bed. Aaron quietly climbed in next to him, doing his best not to wake him as he gently pressed his back against Ahdeths and closed his eyes, he himself falling into a deep sleep.

When morning came, he found Ahdeth in the same spot he had been left. One arm was off the bed and his face was shoved into the pillow. It was a scene that Aaron couldn't help but quietly laugh at. He sat back and simply waited for the other to wake up, not wanting to rush him and wanting to give him time to rest.

Ahdeth slowly woke up as he felt Aaron shift on the bed. He was lucky enough that he was able to slip out of unconscious and simply sleep, hence his odd position. He rolled onto his back and placed a hand on his head, letting out a groan,"Morning..."he grumbled and slowly sat up, reaching his other hand out to block out the overwhelming sunlight,"What do you want for breakfast? I'll cook."he yawned and looked to Aaron with a small, tired smile.

Ahdeth slipped off the bed and pulled his pant leg up. looking at the gash on his leg that wasn't too deep. He stood slowly, letting his body wake up before he moved too quickly. He reached down and grabbed the book on the floor, setting it on the table.

Aaron's eyes widened when he pulled up the leg of his pant. How had he not seen that gash before? Probably because he hadn't been looking anywhere below the waist. He quickly stood and sat Ahdeth back down, knowing where the cut had come from,"Fine, you can cook, but before you take care of me, I'm going to take care of you." he said softly. Going back over to Ahdeths bag, he quickly searched inside, coming up with a roll of bandages the two of them brought from the elven citys.

He kneeled down in front of Ahdeth, re-rolling up his pant leg. Th cut wasn't huge and it wasn't very deep, but it could still get infected if they didnt do something. He slowly and carefully wrapped up the wound and pinning it to keep the bandages in place. "There, now you're all better." he smirked.

Ahdeth let out a groan as he was sat down and gave him a half-hearted glare. He watched as he went through his bag and sighed softly, crossing his arms. He was going to take care of it later but he was thankful Aaron could be helpful with such things. He would have to make sure Aaron was unscathed, it hadn't even crossed his mind that Aaron might have gotten hurt which just made him feel horrible.

He looked to his partner and chuckled at his comment,"Thank you."he pulled his pant leg down and looked to him,"Did you get hurt at all?"he asked, glancing at his arms and the side of his head.

Aaron only shrugged,"Just hit my head a bit." he threw the bandage roll back onto the table,"No perminant damage." he sat up on the table and looked at Ahdeth,"So princess, what did you have in mind for this lovely breakfast you're going to prepare." He earned himself another glare at the use of the newly found nickname, but Aaron only ignored it. He wasn't about to stop calling him that, it had become a sort of habit by this point and Aaron kind of liked it whether or not Ahdeth did was not an issue to him.

After tucking in his shirt, to look like he dressed himself, he soon followed Ahdeth out from the inn and into the busy street, the entire city seeming to be filled with life. He held onto his partners arm as they navigated their way through the streets to the marketplace.
