Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth rolled his eyes as Aaron grabbed onto his arm and chuckled a bit,"You're like a child or something."he teased and led him through the crowd and into the busy market. Vendors could be heard yelling out their products in many different languages like elven, dwarven, impish as well as common. He led Aaron to a particular vendor who sold very finely cut meat for a exceptional price,"What sort of meat are you wanting this morning? There's pork, beef, lamb, all kinds of meat."he said as he picked up a particularly large red snapper,"This looks nice...though i've never cooked one..."he mumbled to himself as all these different dishes began to concoct in his mind.

He gave Ahdeth a playful glare,"I just don't want to lose you." he teased back, hugging him from behind and burying his face in the others neck just to make him feel uncomfortable. He didn't relinquish his partner though until they came up to a vendor, not wanting him to get the wrong idea. "I don't know, anything but fish though, I couldn't deal with having to smell that on you all day." he looked around at all the different types of salted meat in front of him,"Let's have lamb, that's always a good choice." he watched as Ahdeth asked for the meat in a language he had never heard. "We should get some fruit as well, and vegetables, something to spice it up a bit."
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

He rolled his eyes as he felt his partner hug him from behind and simply shrugged it off. He set the fish down and nodded,"Sounds good. I'm not in the mood for fish any way."he looked to the vendor and order a few cutlets of lamb. He then thanked him in dwarven and looked around, walking over to a vendor who sold fresh vegetable. He grabbed a few different spices and a bit of mint. He was satisfied with everything they had bought once they were done and looked to Aaron,"Do you need to hold my hand so he can head back to the inn?"he asked with a small smirk as he held out his hand to his partner.

"Yes mummy." he played along, taking his partners hand and allowing him to lead them both back to the inn. "Oh good," he let out a feux sigh of relief,"I don't know what I would have done without you." he let go of the others hand and started a fire in the fireplace. It wasnt meant for cooking food, but it was still manageable. He decided that all teasing aside, he was going to be at least a bit helpful. He started laying out the various vegetables, taking out a knife and chopping them before handing them to Ahdeth. "I feel like a married couple right now." he mumbled, handing off the last of what Ahdeth had said he required.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

He had to hold back laughter as Aaron took his hand, rolling his eyes he led them back to the inn. He rolled up his sleeves once they began to prepare the meal and began to tenderize the land a bit so it was perfectly tender. He grabbed a few of the spices and took whatever vegetables Aaron had cut up for him and added it to a large bowl that he was preparing the broth in. There were much easier ways to do it but they didn't exactly have all the tools at ready. He glanced at Aaron as he began to talk and let out a quiet chuckle, nodding in agreement,"I can understand why."he replied then turned his attention back to the cooking.

He chuckled lightly,"I'm just surprised you haven't started nagging me and ordering me to get a job or something." he took out and apple and began eating it, too hungry to wait until the actual food was done. He lay himself down on the bed, absorbed in his own thoughts while the smell of cooking filled the entire room. They were going to have to get going soon, if they stayed took much longer, they would be putting all these innocent people in danger. It would be a good idea to go see a blacksmith sometime today, to see where and when that dagger was made. He only hoped it would give them some sort of clue where to look next, because even if this wasn't something concerning, it would at least tell the both of them why all of a sudden packs upon packs of orcs seemed to constantly be out for their blood.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

He rolled his eyes,"Is that the sort of "wife" I would be?"he asked playfully though not caring for an answer. He grabbed a spoon and tasted the broth, letting out a sigh of satisfaction,"Aaron..."he suddenly remembered something he had forgotten to tell him,"Grab that dagger and bring it over here."he said as he pushed the meat around on the hot pan, adding herbs to give it that extra taste.

Once he had brought the dagger over he took it from his hands and took a moment to find the area he had noticed a while back,"See right here..."he pointed to very small etched in letter on the blade of the dagger,"I can identify the letters but...I can't read Drow."he sighed and handed the dagger back to him.

Aaron brought the dagger over to Ahdeth, listening to him as he told him of the letter on the blade. How had he not noticed that before? Probably because it never meant anything to him. "Thanks for pointing that out now genius. So, what does that tell us?" he asked, not trying to sound rude, but it ended up coming out that way anyhow, it's just who he was. He leaned back onto the table, twirling the dagger between his fingers as Ahdeth thought.

The more he looked at the small letter, the more it confused him. To him, it looked like it could be initials, but he wouldn't know for sure. Having stayed in one place pretty much all his life, he never had the need to learn other languages, and now he was beginning to regret it.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

"I apologize if I was half asleep when I noticed it."he responded, not hiding his annoyance at his partner. He put out the fire and grabbed some plates. He neatly put the food on the plates and walked over to the table, setting the plates down. He grabbed some forks and set them besides the plates then sat down, his stomach growling,"After we eat I think it best if we search for a Drow who resides in the city, but be careful they are a very hateful race and we may not be able to find once since they dwell underground."

He continued to inform Aaron about the dark elven race including lifestyle, religion and society.Since they were going to be attempting to talk with a Drow then Aaron will have to understand the behavior he will need to have so as not to not offend or upset them.

Aaron put the dagger down and sat across from Ahdeth at the table. He tasted the food, loving the melt in your mouth taste that Ahdeth seemed to perfect every time. "You know, I wouldn't mind marrying you if it meant eating this every morning." he groaned softly, enjoying the carefully prepared meat. He listened intently to the things Ahdeth had to tell, but he wasn't completely absorbing everything. It was a bit much to take in all at once. "I think you should be the one to do the talking. I don't think it will go very well if I say anything." he scratched the back of his head. What Ahdeth was describing was pretty much the opposite of what he himself was like.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth nodded in agreement,"Yes, I suppose that would be the best option. Though I know very little Drow."he sighed, regretting turning down his master for Drowish lessons. He took a bit of the meat and groaned himself,"This one came out particularly perfect."he smiled, keeping his eyes down towards his food and began to eat some of his vegetable which were perfectly cooked so they were hard in the center and the broth added to the fresh taste,"I wouldn't mind one of those sweet cakes with this..."he leaned on his hand and went silent after that, enjoying his food as well as Aaron's silent company.

Once they had finished eating Ahdeth packed up whatever remaining food hadn't been used and grabbed their things. He put put his swords on his back and looked to Aaron,"Let's go find ourselves a drow."he smirked.

He made a sound of mock excitement, not really happy about having to go find one of these ignorant sounding creatures. He followed behind Ahdeth, not really sure where they were headed, but enjoying the scenery. "So where do they usually live?" he asked, moving up next to Ahdeth to walk beside him. They were only walking for about a minute before Aaron would have become lost, had he been alone. He quietly slipped his hand into Ahdeths, their fingers knotting together. When he god an odd stare from the other he only smirked,"I don't want to lose you princess." he chuckled, but he was being serious. If he lost Ahdeth, there would be no way he would be able to find his way back. It was a bit awkward for the both of them, but it was the only way Aaron could keep a solid grip on him while they looked and asked around for any signs of a drow in the area.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth glanced at their hands with a raised eyebrow and decided to just leave it be although he did feel his blood boil a bit at being called 'princess' again. He looked and pulled then off to the side where it was less busy to get his bearings,"They live under ground. It's rare for them to come to the surface unless there is conflict."he informed him then pulled them back into the crowd,"I do remember seeing white hair in the market place..."he mumbled to himself and led them back to the market. He squinted a bit as he looked through crowds and tightened his grip on his hand as he noticed a large Orc trudging through the crowd. He recognized the scar that ran along his chest from the attack at the abandoned village. He pulled Ahdeth to the side and had him face away from the orc. Ahdeth took a deep breath and his ears began to shape more pointed, while his hair grew dark and even the length shortened.

Aaron sucked in a breath when he noticed the Orc. He kept calm though, facing Ahdeth, his eyebrows raised as the other suddenly transformed in front of him. The Orc soon passed, but that didn't mean there wouldn't be more. They knew the both of them were here, and they would be pissed because of the stunt Ahdeth pulled to set them back at least five days. "Are there any more powers you want to brief me on, because I would kind of like to know what I'm dealing with here." he let go of Ahdeths hand, stepping back a bit. It would deifintly be safe to say that that had thoroughly creeped him out.

"Also, we need to get a move on. They're here, and I'm sure you know why." he looked at Ahdeth,"And no teleporting them this time. I don't want you exhausting yourself like last time." No matter how harsh on Ahdeth he was, he really did care for his partner. He may not show it, but he didn't want to see Ahdeth get hurt, especially on his own accord. It was just an instict of his; he would take an arrow for him if it meant his friend could live.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

He took off his cloak and quickly put it on his partner and pulled the hood up,"Yes, I understand why they're here. Let's go."he grabbed his hand and pulled him through the crowd then turned into and alley that led them to another road. He took a moment to take out a map of the city and looked for the nearest gate to leave from. He cursed when he noticed they pretty far away from any of the gates. He turned to Aaron after putting the map away,"Stay close and don't let go of my hand. I won't teleport, I promise."he said quickly as he heard heavy foot steps around the corner.

He pulled his partner into the tight crowd and glanced around, acting casual as they quietly made they're way to the gate. Luckily there were plenty of people with hoods so Aaron wouldn't seem suspicious. He held on Aaron's hand all the way through and guided him through the city, towards the gate.

Aaron covered himself with the cloak, the hood just barely coming his whole head. They made it to the gates without a hassle, but of course when they got there the orcs had it guarded. Their dogs were guarding the gates, which were shut firmly. "There's no way I'm getting out of there without them smelling me." he whispered to his partner who nodded in acknowledgment. They were about to turn, but it turned out it was already too late. The dogs started barking and snarling, eventually just being let off their leash by the orcs that held them.

Aaron, not really sure what he was doing, took one of Ahdeths blades and sliced them both before they could pounce. He stepped back, not really sure what had compelled him to attack like that. Whatever had though didn't matter, their cover was blown. "Well, we tried at least." he shrugged and took a stance, everyone else around them scattering.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

His camouflage immediately went down once their cover was blow and he reached back, unsheathing his sword and holding it with both hands which only made their deaths even more painful. His eyes turned cold as he stared up at the huge orcs before him. This had become personal now and Ahdeth wouldn't go easy on them. He dropped down into a crouch and smirk, eyes full of pent up rage he had barely let out at Aaron the other day at the waterfall. He shot himself forward and whipped around, his blade barely moving as he landed behind the orc. He slashed his blade to the side, whipping off any blood as the orc fell to the ground with a loud thud.

He glanced to Aaron then quickly looked away and sighed, gripping his sword tightly. He didn't want Aaron to watch him kill, he didn't want him to hate him. He looked up as and orc slammed his fist down and simply held his arm up, stopping the huge hand.
Aaron Brissenden (played by 60EndsToACircus) Topic Starter

Aaron simply watched, Ahdeth not looking like he needed any help. Not like he would really want Aarons help, he was generally pretty useless when it came to fighting anyway. He watched as Ahdeth cut down one Orc then the other. He averted his eyes though afterwards, witnessing Ahdeth kill with such skill and ease. It made his stomach turn and he hated himself for it. He was a different person now with a whole new life, he needed to get over his old ways and promises or else he would get himself killed. Ahdeth would be pissed if Aarom got himself killed, which honestly, was a lot scarier than a couple of orcs.

Aaron sighed when Ahdeth stepped forward and away from the dead bodies. "Let's get moving, someone ought to have heard that." he handed the sword back to Ahdeth as well as the cloak, for he no longer needed to hide his face.
Ahdeth (played by Chibidoitsu98)

Ahdeth sheathed his swords and nodded, shoving the cloak into his bag. They were able to easily slip through the gate bars and begin running. Ahdeth looked around and his eyes landed on a nearby forest but that would be too obvious if there were other orcs in the city and he was sure there were. He looked to Aaron,"We need to find somewhere we can hide out that isn't to close by. There's a forest over there but I think it might be too obvious."he said then turned his attention forward as they ran.

As they continued to run, something hit him. Dwarves always live near mountains and he remembered exactly where one was. He grabbed Aaron's hand and turned, heading east instead of North,"Orcs are slow in the mountains. We can hide there for now."he smiled at Aaron. Hoping he wouldn't think of him as just a killer.

Aaron nodded and followed along, letting go of his partners hand purely for the purpose of being able to run faster. They ended up making it to the nornthern part of the city, the mountain literally right there. In the mountain, you could easily see the front of the dwarves fortress, where they kept all their gold and other precious stones and where they mined them. Aaron could see a cave, one that was disconnected from the actual fortress and looked natural. There was no way they would be let back into the city, after that small commotion. Of course, there was no direct path to the cave so when they reach the bottom of the mountain Aarom spared not a single minute before beginning to climb. Every so often he would check to see if Ahdeth was still behind him, and sure enough he always was, he just wanted to make sure his partner had not fallen.
