"Extremely." Lea said with a straight face. "You now have a challenge for the night." She said with a wink as she followed him to the diner, passing many buildings and people. Lea hated people, except for a snack. Mortals were good snacks.
"Good to know you're planning to stay with me," he said. If he had a tail, it would have been wagging.
"My name is Elemeno," he introduced as he opened the diner doors, "You can call me El."

"I have to stay with you to survive the night after what I just went through." Lea said rubbing her arms where she jumped through the window and cut herself. "I'm Lea. If you call me anything else that's the last thing you will be saying, and I won't be killing you to make you shut up." Lea added smelling the nice food from the diner and walking through the doors. "Wow this place is nice." she said. It wasn't verry nice but it was the only diner she has ever been to.
It was 60's style, with checker board floors and it had the fronts of 60's cars turned into booths. It was clean and quaint, if not highest budget.
El took led her to a table that was the front of an old taxi and gestured for her to sit.
"It's nice to meet you, Lea."

"It's nice to meet you, Lea."
"What is this?" Lea asked toughing the hood of the taxi. "It's so strange." she said with a tilt of her head as she sat in the booth. "The mortal world is so strange isn't it?" she asked El as he too sat in the booth.
"It's the front of a car, silly," he teased, "And it's only strange if you've never been a part of it. I like it a lot actually. I've met a lot of good people."
"A car?" Lea said quizzically as the waitress came up and asked if they had their drinks ready. "Can I have.... A S-Sod-Soda??" Lea asked trying to pronounce the word correctly as she handed the drink menu to the waitress.
"Sure thing, hun," the waitress replied with a sweet smile, "What kind? Cocacola? Pepsi? Root beer? How 'bout a Shirley Temple?" she had a light southern drawl and she certainly had that air of southern hospitality.
Leas eyes got wide and she didn't know what to have. She quietly leaned over to El. "What type of So-Soda should I get?" she asked nervously. She had never been outside her containment room at the lab and had no idea about the outside world.
"She'll have a Shirley Temple," El answered for her, "I'll have a Root Beer please... And how about a plate of mozzarella sticks too?"
Lea nodded and turned back to El once the waitress was gone. "What is a root beer? And what is a Shirley Temple?" she asked pronouncing them the way he did.
"Damn. Where've you been the last 100 years?" he smirked, "A Shirley temple is a carbonated cherry and citrus drink. Root beer... I'm not really sure what it is, but it's really good. You can try some of mine."
"Um, Not here?" Lea said trying to avoid the topic of her growing up in a lab. "Where have you been the last 100 years?" she asked laughing.
"I've been out and about the last 80 or so," he smirked, "I've been wandering since I was 100 years old."
"Wow, I am actually only 18." Lea said laughing. "You seem so old to me!" She said teasing me.
"Well, we're different breeds of werewolf," he said a bit quietly, "I'm technically only 18 too. I age one year for every ten."
The waitress returned with their sodas and breaded mozzarella sticks.
"Want a sip of my root beer?" he offered the brown, bubbly liquid to her.

Lea took a sip and smiled. "Its good." She took a sip of her own and laughed hard. "But this is better!." she practically yelled as the waitress stood there to take their orders.
"hey! I made you smile!" he grinned then looked up at the waitress, "I'm going to have the bacon and cheddar full pounder, cooked medium. She'll have the same thing, rare."
(When my dad first have me a soda, I called it spicy because I didn't know how else to describe the bubbles x3)

"Nuh uh! I smiled 'cause the soda is good!" Lea protested, trying not to laugh as the waitress left. "I have a question for you." she said turning serious and taking another sip of her soda.
"Yeah, but I ordered you the soda, so teeeechnically," he grinned at her then nodded, "Sure. Ask away."
