I am looking for a literate writer who has the free time and the desire to post at least daily. When you message me, please link to a writing sample and give me at least a rough idea of what you're looking for. I won't respond otherwise, sorry! Here are some of my writing samples.
What I'm craving right now is a story about humans arriving at a distant planet with the intention of terraforming it. However, instead of finding a dead rock filled with all the raw resources they would need to build a new home, they find thriving alien life. These aliens are not the technological equals of humans, but they are clearly intelligent. One of us will play the alien character, and the other a human. If I play the alien it will probably be one of these. Please keep in mind that I am not a GM. If the setting is mine I understand that I might be doing more of the work, but if I get absolutely nothing from you I will drop the RP.
I may be open to doing other things aside from the above prompt. Just ask.
About Me:
Writing Style: Third person, past-tense. I usually write a few paragraphs per post. If I’m setting up a scene or a backstory my posts can be several pages long. During scenes with fast-paced dialogue my posts might only be a few lines. Really it depends on what’s going on in the story, and I’m not one for length quotas.
Frequency: I can usually post multiple times a day, and I’m looking for a partner who likes to post frequently as well. I’m available from 12pm-4pm EST, and sometimes after 10pm.
Characters: I play characters of any gender. If you have a preference, let me know and I will probably accommodate you. I create a new character for every roleplay so I can tailor them to the story.
Pairings: For me, plot > romance. I do enjoy romance if it develops organically and doesn’t feel forced, but I can live without it. I won’t do slice of life romance. I prefer romance when I play opposite a male character. Smut is okay if it fits with the story, but I’m generally not very interested in sex scenes.
I am over the age of 25, and only interested in writing with other adults.
Themes I enjoy: historical realism, blood & violence, realistic melee combat, complex moral issues, drama, realistic characterization, low tech settings, slow burn romance
