Hello RPR friends!

Halloween and spooky season is my favorite time of yeeeear!!

Why not have a Halloween-themed raffle to get us in the spirit and to also give some things away?

So first, let me talk about the prizes:
One (1) grand prize winner will win an ice cream sundae - which will give a player account a year of epicness.
Two (2) runner ups will get bacon - which will give a player account two additional character spots.
Five (5) others will get a macaron - the color will be randomly selected for the winners.

How To Enter:
Reply to this thread and tell me which one of your characters would die first in a horror movie and why.

Rules:
1. Reply as your player account or as a character linked to your player account. No anonymous characters! Replies made by anonymous characters will not count as official entries.
2. You must link to the character you're talking about somehow.
3. Only one (1) entry per person.
4. Numbers will be assigned to qualifying entries in the order they are received.
5. Deadline to enter is 2am U.S. Pacific Time, Sunday, October 13th.

Spudcula, the Vampiric Prize Potato

oh boi oh boi. Even though she's not finished yet, she would absolutely die first. She has little to no training in self-defence, and doesn't carry any sort of weapon on her. Her constant lack of sleep also leaves her reactions times absolutely hideous, and she's quite oblivious to everything around her due to always being lost in her anxiety and worried filled head. She would either not notice the killer/danger entirely, or if it was a person, she probably wouldn't even notice their ill intentions and try to ask for help.

It is definitely Barame. He's very rash in his methods, and would certainly overestimate his own abilities against whatever spook is out to get them all

I have a lot of curious type characters who might walk into a trap, but a lot of them are in someway capable of defending themselves. The least likely to survive would 100% be Vee....and for very obvious reasons.

Vee is less familiar with predators than most normal beings, and even at well over 100 years old their race still considers them to be mostly a child (like 11 or 12 ish years old vaguely, though societally inaccurate). With a textile communication method majorly preferred, and a lot of making new friends, Vee will most likely walk right up to the murderer and....well....get murdered

Sure a chainsaw might get them running, and yes they have a few self defense mechanisms, but overall I cant see them lasting very long even outside of a horror setting whilst being hunted.

That said, if I was a chainsaw maniac after Vee, I'd try drizzling that sweet maple blood of theirs on some fresh baked pancakes....I'll bet that would taste great!

They'd be in the opening scene. Glenn, Olivia, Sohn, & Emma are enjoying a nice evening amongst friends, which quickly goes from idyllic to being chased through the woods by some hideous creature. Only for it to end with screams and then silence....

Hmmm probably Martinez honestly. For one hes in a wheelchair. Which isnt good for running away.

Hes also black and i mean...in horror movies that usually doesn't end well. (Not meaning any harm by saying this. Its a media stereotype.)

But yeah. Wheelchair. Bad.

Coraline could easily go either way on "Only one to survive" or "First to meet a gruesome end"

Cora would probably die first for a mix of reasons; She's self sacrificial to protect those she cares about, so she could easily throw herself in the way of danger just to give someone she cares about more time to get themselves to safety.

Also, Cora has some uh... weird... private interests... Including monsters and at least the idea of violent-leaning people, so she'd definitely also be the weird monster groupie...
EX: Everyone in the alien movies tries not to get infected right? Nah, Cora would just hover over a xenomorph egg specifically to get a face hugger attached to her face because "Yeah, I mean, it's cool, it's a monster, why wouldn't I?" lol

Ebony

It is always the beautiful maid, busy doing her chores, unsuspecting of any danger, who gets killed right at the very beginning of the movie and is found dead afterwards

Muriel would definitely be the first to die in a horror movie. She’s really smart and is a scientist, so she might have even made the thing that started the whole horror movie hence her dying the moment it escaped containment. That and she has absolutely no combat training so if it wasn’t an experiment and was say a masked murderer on the loose, she’d have no way to protect herself.

I. love. this! I've never given much thought about my characters in 'horror movie' scenarios. But it didn't take me long to come to a decision as to who would die first (out of them all in a hypothetical group).

Henrik Ruben Jørgensen

Despite his suave, charming mannerisms that would make him a hit with a LOT of my ladies, his tech-savvy ways and his knowledge of numerous fighting techniques, Henrik is a GIANT chicken when it comes to horror movies. He has to have all the lights on, be surrounded by pillows and have the remote in hand constantly when watching Jurassic Park, which he considers to be a horror, -insert eye roll/facepalm here-. He'd be screaming his head off before anything serious or 'scary' actually happened. My honest to god-belief is that Henrik would be sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth whilst sucking his thumb like a baby, whilst his sister Novalie tries to calm him down.

The moment something genuinely scary happens, he'd die on the spot of a heart attack, screaming like a little girl. (Henrik has an artificial heart, so a big scare could actually short circuit it and result in fatal consequences). Or if he somehow managed to survive beyond that, he'd try and leave almost instantly and probably end up getting himself killed by the murderer anyway. Or if he steps in a puddle and gets zapped with some cut cables, he's screwed. When it comes to Henrik, the possibilities are endless, and downright hilarious (in my opinion anyway, I'm laughing just thinking about it).

This was actually really hard for me, but I finally settled on Jie here. She's spoiled. She's a princess. She's snobbish. She has no real self defense skills aside from a sharp tongue and a sense of entitlement. She's the one the killer kills first so that the audience knows it's serious but aren't emotionally invested enough in to make them want to turn off the movie yet.

Bonnie would definitely be the first one to die. She's super sweet, innocent, a bit naive and is likely the type writers would kill off right away, but also probably easily found. Even though she's short and can hide in places, she isn't a quick runner and freezes when scared.

i think jamison would definitely be the first out of all of my characters to die in a horror movie lmao. he's really self confident to the point where he can be recklessly bold, and he has a tendency to not really think things through before doing them. in a slasher movie, i feel like he'd be the one that tries to go after the killer to protect himself, but he'd probably overestimate his abilities to take on A Literal Serial Killer. he'd definitely die fighting though. in a paranormal movie, he'd be the type to dismiss everything. he believes in ghosts but doesn't take it seriously and isn't really a hardcore believer. he's also the type to ignore warnings and go to the Very Haunted Building because he would either believe it's not that big of a deal or just wouldn't really believe the legends at all, which is like a horror movie death sentence lmao.

honorable mention is damian because i definitely don't think he could survive a serial killer coming after him, but he also doesn't have jamison's nasty little rat hubris, so he wouldn't be going out of his way to try and fight the killer. damian wouldn't even be scared in a paranormal movie, he can be reckless with ghosts/the paranormal but he's just so used to dealing with them that i don't even think he'd be that concerned.

Roni Wood. My naive innocent romance writer. She would be gullible for any serial killer. Thanks for doing this prize potatoe.

Celeste would defenitley die first. she’s not strong at all. She’s cold and emotionless, but has little back bone when it comes to fighting.

And without her royal entourage/guard, she would die quite easily.

This boi, because he'd use himself as bait to make sure everyone else got away. He's too selfless for his own good.

I'm pretty sure its a toss up between Maw'tea and Susie. But Susie at least can pick locks.. so she might be second to die.
I'm pretty sure the rest of my characters would be the villians IN the horror movie or at least survive to the semi finals.
