Luna let her bare feet cool in the little river. She sat on the edge of a large smooth rock that looked like a giant's skipping stone. Her long silver hair glowed in the moonlight in cascades down her back. She made sure her skirt didn't get wet and relaxed in the moment. Her twin swords lay beside her, but she didn't think she'd need them. It was quiet out here, with no other people around. At least, none that she knew of.

Bernard was walking through the forest, trying to take his mind off the fast approaching full moon. Tomorrow night was the night, and he needed to familiarize himself of the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest. He had seen a small clearing with a girl there, her long silver hair catching his eye. He hide behind a tree to try to get a better look at the girl.

Luna felt the hairs on the back of her neck raise in the feeling of being watched. Her hand gripped on e of the swords next to her. So it seemed someone was out here after all. Other than the slight movement of her hand to the sword next to her, Luna didn't move. Better to let whatever was watching her think she was still unaware of its presence, then catch it off guard when it came out.

Bernard quickly hid behind the tree, noticing the girl go for her sword. He didn't want to scare her or anything.

Luna readjusted her grip on the sword. Whatever was watching her hadn't left. She scanned the treeline, wondering just where it was. "Who's there?" She called out in a loud, clear voice.

Bernard sighed and stepped out from behind the tree he was hiding. "Hello." He said.

Luna blinked. The guy that had just stepped out didn't look that dangerous, and she sheathed the twin swords behind her back. If he made one move in any threatening way though, she'd be sure to have them back out in an instant. She calmed the beating of her heart. "Who are you?"

"I am known as Bernard. I had found you here by accident, I would suggest that you don't come here tomorrow night." He said, calmly, trying to keep this woman from getting hurt by his wolf side. He knew he couldn't control it and couldn't stop it from killing anyone but at least he could warn her ahead of time.

She narrowed her eyes at that. Was it just a pure warning, or was there a threat concealed underneath. "And why's that?" Luna'd been planning on staying for a few days. It was nice here, nicer than other places she'd been. She fought the urge to look around to see if the danger was hiding somewhere in the woods. Instead, she met Bernard's eyes with a cool look.

"Just trust me, please. It is for the best." He didn't want to explain why he had given her the warning, but looking into his eyes, you would be able to see that he was telling the truth and meant no harm as long as the full moon was gone.

Luna could see the truth in his eyes. She thought for a long while, not moving. Then she nodded. He seemed sincerely concerned that she would be in danger if she stayed. She sighed as she thought about the long walk she had before she'd reach the next town. It would take her all of today and most of tomorrow. You just had to make your way in the place farthest from civilization as possible... She'd have to find a hotel to stay in. And be around so many people.

For a moment, she wondered if maybe she could "leave" and loop back, staying hidden. Whatever this danger was, she was a little curious to see what it was. She was confident in her ability to take care of herself and defend herself if necessary.
