Ms. Barr led them in and stopped in the middle.”Ok! Get with your partners!” She said.”Anyone volunteer to go first?”
she was willing to go first, but she wanted to be sure her partner was willing before she raised her hand
Kai: He thought for a second, then raised his hand. "I might as well get this over with." He said, before realizing how arrogant that sounded. Unfortunately, it would probably sound even worse if he corrected himself by saying something like 'no, not like that, I'm expecting to lose!' so he decided to just stick with it.
Krillian was fairly certain that her partner, Karma, would be one of the first to want to go and fight but the woman was still in a contemplative state. It might be better to watch another pair go first so she could at least barrow some techniques...and that's when she heard Kai step in. It was a good thing considering he was a vampire too- so whatever he did she should be able to replicate! Perfect. The dark-haired corpse turned to Karma with a small dip of her head. "My apologizes. I have not fought before, and having some idea of what to do possibly would be in best interest.", she muttered softly, hopeful of an understanding.
(( I'm so sorry- my computer is being stupidly slow >~< Bear with me! ))
Dionysus was a little taken back by her partner's eagerness to fight and was even more excited for the battle than before, if it were possible. The demon let out a coy laugh as she slowly walked into the center of the room. "If you so insist...Kai? Might need to switch out that first letter for another dove~", once there she spun on her heel, hands behind her back, to face him with a cheeky grin.

((Mine too- maybe it's something up with the rpr?)) Kai: "Are you trying to rile me up? Because you're going to need more than a grammatically incorrect pun for that." He said, walking out to meet her. He was too busy looking for some form of strategy to think of a comeback, but that would do. He got into a fighting stance, fangs bared, and waited.
"Ok up first is Kai and Dionysus." Ms. Barr said and stepped back."The Stage to fight is yours. no killing."
she sits down to watch
(( Ho- maybe <-< )) (( Ahhhh pressure- )) (( ...Sucking? ;-; )) (( Oui, oui! )) (( I got chu! ))
Dionysus' expression didn't change even though she had shifted her position to loosely look like a stance of action...from somewhere. The demon's fingers were beginning to tint black as she spoke again. "Last chance to turn fang and run, tough guy.", she offered with no intent of letting him do it even if he took it.

she watches silently
Kai: He looked directly into her eyes with a subtle hiss. "That one didn't even make sense!" He tossed his hoodie aside with some unintended flair to slightly increase his manoeuvrability, plus he was planning something with it for later in the fight.
Dionysus clicked her tongue as she eyed him down a bit before a light black mist started forming around her, hazel orbs becoming a little intense, and the blackness that was once on her fingers and had enveloped her hands. The demon sent the vampire a ****-eating grin and pivoted one foot back, then proceeded to beckon him to forward with a single slim finger.
Kai: "What, are we just both going to wait for the other to attack first? because I've got all d-" Mid-sentence, he launched a sucker punch as fast and hard as he could towards the side of her skull, ignoring any distractions like her shadow fists until necessary.
The mist surrounding Dionysus suddenly drew into herself and the demon blinked out of existent...just a little too late it seemed. When she came back, appearing just behind where Kai originally stood before attacking, the woman could feel the fair amount of pain from the impact that managed to hit her just before she teleported away. There was the pain on the side of her face and then the weird rush of some form of air going through her head- almost like his punch actually went through her. It made her a little lightheaded and a little worried if such a thing were actually possible, but her legs kept her up fine.
With a lazy attempt and a matching smile, Dionysus somewhat tried to claw at the back of his head, making sure to keep the majority of her body behind her outstretched arm.

Kai: "Oh, what the-" Before he had time to process what had happened, he felt claws digging at his head. He quickly jumped forwards after a few slashes though, resulting in minimal damage. Still, it hurt, and he'd surely be bleeding if he were a human. He whipped his full body around, looking back at her and taking a second to find out what happened. "What's wrong? you aren't looking too good." He prepared for another attack.
Dionysus took a step back as well and shrugged before forcing concern onto her face. "I don't want to hurt the my poor baby boy! Need me to kiss your boo-boos?- we can stop quickly if you need it!", came her ever-teasing reply and mockery was lit heavily in her narrowed eyes, despite the almost genuine worry lacing her tone. She planned on milking this fight as much as she could.
Kai: He had mostly managed to shrug off her mockeries, but making fun of his visual age always tipped him over. "Oh, that is IT!" he leapt above her without thinking and swung down with a rage-filled axe kick.
Dionysus let a hearty laugh escape her before trying to move out of the way of the kick that seemed oddly familiar- the blow landed on a slow moving arm and the pain shot up through said arm and even to her collarbone, almost leaving the effect of when someone would hit their elbow on something too. It wasn't pleasant that was for sure, but it was better than having her head hit again with an attack like that. A short kiss of her teeth pushed past her lips before she could stop it and noticed that her injured limb having some problems functioning at the moment. A nicely sized bruise for sure.
The demon within and out howled in excitement as Dionysus once again went for slashing at him, this time putting a lot more vicious attempts and intent into them. It demanded blood and she was more than happy to oblige.

she watches how they fight
Kai: He had no chance of balancing on her arm after he landed, leading him to collapse to the ground. "Agh! No...." He pushed himself away as quickly as he could, but by the time he was far enough away to get back up he was covered in gashes and wounds. Unfortunately for the shadows, his lack of blood was now blatantly obvious. Still, he could barely stand through the pain, let alone think. He had one last thought, though. "Hey... demons like you like blood too, right?" He asked, his vision blurring.
