Krillian paused mid-step just a little to the left and behind Mavis, holding her breath as to not risk the small puffs of air reaching the angel. Though Mavis definitely hadn't seen her approaching, there was a fair chance that Karma might from this angle, so after three heartbeats' worth of hesitation, the young student came up to the table where the two were seated at. She quietly and swiftly took one of the spare chairs without glancing their way. Once she felt ready the vampire gave a nod of greeting to each of them- eyes straying on the demon more often than not, since it was her suggestion to join them.
She smiles "better to even out the chaos and the order, is it not?"
Mavis felt a presence behind and grabbed out a white and blue sword. She swung and stopped at krillians neck.”Oh... hello.” She put the sword away.”You must be Krillian?” She said.
Krillian nodded her head once in agreement, showing no outward emotion to almost getting her head sliced off, only her eye slightly squinted as if bracing for impact that wouldn't result in death. Maybe it was due to shock but she didn't feel any panic at the fact. Maybe it was because she's been surrounded by murder-lusting beings for a bit too long. Maybe she's been alive too long and seen too much. Most likely all of the stated.
The dark brunette decided to keep polite by crossing one leg over the other under the table, hands resting on top of one another in her lap, silently observing the two lovers.
The dark brunette decided to keep polite by crossing one leg over the other under the table, hands resting on top of one another in her lap, silently observing the two lovers.
“Sorry...” May said. She breathed as krillian did scare her a bit.
Krillian merely blinked at Mavis, eyeing the young woman's weapon for a short while before shifting her gaze but up to her face, keeping a rather neutral expression on. The vampire didn't know how angels and demons differ nor anything about them as a whole, but for some reason she wondered for once on such things. Both Karma and Mavis so far seemed rather similar in terms of personality and quick-draw mannerisms. It could be just their individuality that managed to find each other by random, or maybe the two races weren't different at all. Yet a tiny tickle at the back of her mind kept the woman's confusion foggy, some long-lost knowledge she had trying to tell her otherwise. Ignoring it- Krillian tilted her head slightly and tried making her facial features soften a bit, hoping Mavis would get the hint that she wasn't angry at her almost-death.
She sighs and looks at krillian. Her tail twitched a bit "you need to announce your presence next time, ok? We can't have either of you die. Killing each other would be a waste of friendship. So, let's think now. First things first, will we sit at this table together for lunch every day? Or do y'all wanna move around and choose different tables"
May shrugged.”Maybe not today but each day we can choose different places.”
Krillian looked between the two, considering the choices, but decided not to take part in giving an answer. It would be disrespectful in her mind to object her opinion on it after only just making acquaintances with the lovers so soon. Whatever the two of them chose she already decided that she would agree with it. Though she didn't want to seem rude by not acknowledging Karma's question, the vampire looked up towards the ceiling as if she were in thought.
"So, is that you saying that you want to sit apart, or just changing tables each day"
“Each day.” May said.”I don’t want to be apart from you.”
She nods and smiles. "Have you met Celestria yet Krillian? She is our other friend. Also do you have any preference for a table other than out of the sunlight?"
May looked at Krillian to hear her response to her girlfriends questions.
Krillian took a moment to think, tilting her head back down normally before swinging her head side-to-side to signal a 'no' to Karma's first question, she couldn't recall ever having a conversation with the ebony-haired woman. After another moment of considering the second question, the vampire responded only with a tiny smile towards the demon, not needing to add to the given 'not-tos' when it came to picking a table. As long as it was out of the light, the table didn't particularly matter...mostly, unless certain individuals were near said table.
She nods and smiles. Her tail swayed as she pulled her girlfriend in for a kiss. She then just waits for either Celestria to come back or the next period to start.
The next day May found a better shaded place. Celes showed up as well.
She joined the table
May kissed her.”Hey.”
“Ew!” Celes said looking away from that.
“Ew!” Celes said looking away from that.
"You are a demon, it's just kissing." She kisses back
“Half demon and half angel.” Celestria corrected her.
