((I mean you got rid of everything WE did while you were away. Role plays are like houses. Image you and your team are building a house for someone. You're doing great. Lots of progress is being made. But suddenly the boss needs to leave for a week. A bit annoying, but not really a problem, right? So you keep on working. A week from that point, the boss comes back, just like they promised. You start showing them around what you did while they were gone, cracking a few jokes along the way. Suddenly, they say something. “No.” “What do you mean no?” You ask. “Don’t like what you’ve done. Take it down. Also me and my friend are going to be building another house, so I’m going to be doing that instead sometimes.” It isn’t great from our perspective, is it?))

((I can fully understand that. My first roleplay that took off became the biggest roleplay on the site, and still has around 20,000 more posts than any newer ones despite being dead for over half a year. This website was my first ever introduction to roleplay aside from my sister. I had to handle around 3,000 new posts each day. It’s hard, I get that. Think of it like raising an animal. If you train it too much, it’ll be obedient but it’ll hate you. If you train it too little, they’ll be happy, but anything you do they will feel like they are allowed to revoke. You need to find that balance In The middle. (Also if you leave for too long without a pet sitter it’ll die of starvation.) ok?))
