"Why should I trust you with my name when I can't even trust you not to lie?"
((Oof, that sounds bad.)) Mars: “Yeah, that’s fair...” he said, making no attempt to fix the problem.
"My turn; why are you here?"
Mars: “one hundred excuses and I didn’t prepare for a lie detector....” he shook his head. “I’m..... trying to steal something. Please don’t tell anyone.”
"To steal what?" She says in a whisper.
Mars: “Look, I would tell you but I can’t. I’m not stealing this for me, I’m stealing it for someone else, and they tricked me into giving them instant method of killing me if I do something they don’t like. And they’re always watching.” He was being truthful.
"What can they detect? Visual and audio? Can they read your mind?"
Mars: “all of the above. They’re like a parasite.” He said.
"That's annoying." Her ear twitches and her eyes to light grey as she starts talking to herself. "Go away Vei."
Mars: He looked around. “Huh? Who’s Vei?” He asked.

"Whelp, looks like that didn't work." She mumbles. "You passed out. I'm not fast enough to save you from falling." Of course, that was a lie, but she was trying not to get exploded if that was indeed what would've happened.
Mars: “So, not to be rude, but.. who exactly are you? Have we met?” It seemed the parasite had some twisted ‘penalty system’ for doing something he disliked.
