He walked past Adi, talking to.... something. “You’re awful. You’re a lump of metal and I have no reason to keep you around.”

Adi looked at Kodoku.”Talking about me, the pen or a robot?” She asked.

“Ah, I didn’t notice you there. I was actually talking to this.” He took out a fancy looking sword. If flickered cyan for a split second with an odd hum.

“It talks?” Adi asked.

“Nnnnnnope!” He said. He decided not to elaborate further.

Adi nodded.”Well. This hunk of something won’t work!” She shouted and threw the pen. The pen hit a pic of Malavon which made it seem like the pen smashed his head in.

“....why are there pictures of the principal here?” He asked.

“It’s not just him you know.” Adi said.”Do you have a pen I could use?”

“Uh.. kinda. It’s weird.” He said, reaching into his bag.

“I just need something black to write with.” Adi said.

“...alright then, if you say so.” He handed her a pen made of bone, with the words “if I die here, so does she” carved into the side. There was a small red barb at the bottom of the pen.

Adi smiled.”I want to keep it now.” She said.”It’s awesome.” She said and finished the poem.

He shrugged. “Then it’s yours. I’m totally fine not carrying that thing around.” He said.

Adi smiled.”Ok. So what you think about the poem?” She asked.

He though for a little. “I’m not really a poem expert, but I like it. It feels like... it feels like if it was shown to someone who was good with poems, they would understand exactly what you were trying to get across.” He said.

“The dark loneliness is my deepest feelings.” Adi said.”That’s what it’s about.” She said. She put the new pen and the poem book away.”I’m trying to get one written about you but I don’t even know you well enough. I don’t know your powers at all.” She said.

He thought to himself about why she would want to write a poem about a (technical) stranger. “Ah yes, my powers. Like being a hoarder.” He said, for some reason?
